Hi, we're the Schoeller's! Welcome to our channel! We grew our family by adopting through the foster care system. Tyanna is the light of our lives. She is 4 years old! Rhianna is a certified registered nurse anesthetist aka a crna. Jon is a real estate investor. We have been working our way towards financial freedom over the years because family time is our priority. We love to travel the world as a family whether it's by plane, boat, camper van or train! We are also vegan and share lots of plant based food ideas. Thanks for joining us on this crazy, beautiful ride of life!

Thank you for sharing another beautiful adventure with us. Tyanna is so confident and open to new experiences. I love her willingness to try and learn new things. Her resilience to keep trying even when she falls is inspiring. She has amazing energy and enthusiasm. She looks at everything as a wonderful opportunity to grow. That is because her incredibly supportive parents always encourage her to at least try. I also loved how both of you engage with her. It was so much fun to see all of your happily exploring the slime, while you encouraged her to problem solve by asking simple questions. I am so glad that you take her to the children's museum. What a wonderful place to experience a variety of fun activities, and support exploration and inquiry. Once again, thank you for inspiring us with another awesome family adventure. It always makes me smile seeing how you connect with and respond to each other. Rihanna and Jon are so great at supporting her independence and risk-taking. You always show her that you believe in her competence and capability. Bravo!! Thank you!! You are both incredible parents and awesome people!!
*Side note - To people that are sending criticism of their parenting style. Please remember that every person and every family is different. It is too easy to judge someone based on her own perception of what is right or wrong. Each of us have very diverse lived experiences and so we need to remember that just because something works for us doesn't mean it will work for someone else who is completely different. Every day I connect with diverse families and I always need to be empathetic and supportive of their individual experiences. I always try to look at their connection as a whole. With this family, I see unconditional love, support, and patience. They are still learning and growing together. It is beautiful and inspiring to see. Please try to remember that when you watch a 20 minute video, you are only getting a snippet of what happens in their daily lives. If we try to be more compassionate and understanding, this world would be a much better place. Keep being amazing Jon and Rihanna!!

Jon and Rihanna Americans need to learn about parenting their children from you. Love ,Patience, giving enough quality time to children, teaching kids at early age, laughter, activities, no bad words, teamwork, exiting life, rest, peace, unity, no wasting time on watching garbage tv shows, enjoying life in a great manner, discipline, respect, humbleness, caring, forgiving, not screaming to each other or on kids, time management, hard working people, dedication, the importance of father and mother participation in child's life, organized, cleaness, simple life, smile, caring for each other, freedom, .... and so much more. May you all live a long long happy and joyous, and healthy life. Amen.

Feed her all you want, she is your kid, you can feed her even when she is an adult🥰, you guys are great parents and you have been doing a great job. From your videos, i see she is disciplined and has manners and knows when it's serious time and when it's fun time, so let whoever wants to talk talk!!. People always talk, looking for ways to make others feel unhappy with them. Like we would say in pidgin "no mind them jare". Jon, I do hope you are better, I sure missed your energy get well soon. You are such a great dad, even in pain you made sure your daughter got all the attention. Rihanna, you are such a great mum, you do have the patience of a mum, not all mothers do. My favourite people that always make my day. Good job Tyanna with those skates, keep at it and you will hopefully represent your country at the Olympics one day. Never let your go get attitude go. I’m a nanny of a hyper 4 year old. While he too can eat by himself if it’s not chips I usually have to encourage him. I think their toys are just more interesting than eating at that age

My son has adhd and he has a hard time sitting at the table at times, so I usually let him eat on the go while he’s watching a Disney show when we are at home 😅
It's going to be real fun to watch T ianna when she eventually gets the technique of skating. Because I know she is going to bring in her own style, can't wait. Tianna is athletic, no doubt.

When I was a kid my parents often made me eat things that I did not like. As a parent, I introduced new foods to my kids and if they didn’t like them it was never focused.
It’s okay if Tyanna doesn’t want to sit at the dinner table. As long she is eating that’s all that matters. Everyone has their own parenting style.

I am not surprised by how well Tyanna did skating. Also, I agree, Tyanna is four and I wouldn't necessarily make her always sit at the dinner table, as you all stated, she is nearby, she sees you guys doing it, and she will start doing it more often as she gets older.

It amazes me to watch the interacting with you all. TT is such a delight to watch. When asked by her mom how to get rid of the slime for her shirt she smartly reply hot water cold water that was so funny. Just want to say I love you all so much. You brought such positivity to you. My youngest son started having trouble with his vision and after many tests and hours at the clinics it was discovered that he had MS. Love your family. I like that Teyana is giving the freedom to try things and you two are so patient with her.

Yes, I'm glad to see her so active. When my son complains that his babies are doing exactly the same, I remind him that he did too. Energy! His punishment was to sit still. He'd sweat. Running only gave him more energy. ahahahah LOVED it.

Tyanna is a bright strong-minded little girl she's so smart educated for her age she learns very she did a wonderful ice skating her first time perfectly she needs more practice but she would get it

Listen my dear ones, don’t mind what people say about your parenting, those who judge you their Home isn’t any better. Our princess is doing what any normal kid does, allow her to enjoy her life. Kids run they jump they make us happy. We are a family of four, One of my daughters would never sit at the table for dinner like everyone else. Most times 3 hours after we finished eating that’s when she is hungry, and that was ok with us. We just let her know she’s gonna be dining alone if she didn’t join us, and she was perfectly ok with that. She’s now 16yrs old. And she is still like that, she is the last to eat, the last to shower, the last to wake up, the last to do everything in my house, but she is the most loving kid a mother can ever ask for. They always change when they grow up, but until then enjoy your princess.

What a fun filled day! I remember taking my daughter ice skating for the first time on an open large lake. We were stationed (navy) at Brunswick Maine. It was the most fun. Lots of laughter and all she could talk about for days. I got to relive that memory again, thanks to you, Schoeller family. Thank you!

You guys are perfectly fine. Even sitting at the table doesn't mean you're doing the right thing. When my brothers and cousins sat at the dinner table at her age we'd sneak pecans and cashews in each other's drinks when the adults turned their backs. Kids are kids. Sitting down or not, we were chaotic. Tyanna's behavior is mild. My nephew would sit at the table and still refuse to eat at that age. But, when he got hungry he ate.
Don't pay attention to the bad comments, the people complaining usually were the ones doing the most when they were kids. They're just too old to remember lol

That owner was awesome. My first experience ice skating, the skates had double blades, but no teacher. Couldn't wait for the single blades and the little skirt. I grew to get the single blades, but never the skirt and never the lessons.

I don’t thinks it’s so important where she sits for dinner, but it will be important to teach her to sit still for extended periods of time to help her get ready for first grade in school. Right now her class time encourages movement and stimulating sensory activities, but 1st grade will be the first time she will be expected to sit still and listen for minutes at a time. One great option to help with this, but not make it a “chore or punishment”, is to have family quiet time. This can include reading or writing on paper, or any quiet activity she can do on her own (but not playing). She is four now, so a good starting place would be four minutes plus one of quiet/still time and then do this once or twice a day gradually increasing the minutes until she can sit quietly for about 15-20 minutes. You guys are doing such a wonderful job with T and she will be more than ready academically when she starts 1st grade.
