I laughed when Ben mentioned how they got the placebo effect while mixing, I do the same thing sometimes. I’ll hear small tweaks happening to a mix, then I’ll realize I’m not even adjusting the right track lol. Thanks for the great interview
As a huge fan of these guys this was one of the best interviews I’ve ever heard from them. Super cool to hear more in depth about the recording and creative process. I really appreciate an interviewer who is willing to just let the artist talk through things and doesn’t try to interrupt and interject all the time. Well done!

It somehow sounds like its floating above you a little bit to the left on headphones. I would have loved to maybe hear Dave talk about how he tracked and mixed that.
