Thanks, man! If I'm remembering correctly, it was you that suggested I make a video about this. 🙂

@@vikingguitarNot sure! I've probably suggested you make several about all the fun stuff you've discovered. And you certainly should.

@@vikingguitar Do you know that your music is being used as a soundtrack for right-wing propaganda on the "Candy Stryper" YT page?

@@bean-spiller I did NOT, and I really appreciate the heads up. Already reached out to the channel to have it removed.

@@vikingguitar Glad to hear it. That channel uses memes that promote political violence, and I thought you should be aware. As an amateur guitarist myself, I enjoy your work.

Great tip, definitely ! Thanks for sharing your great knowledge ! It is also good to normalize the signal of the 3rd track because often I will use this method and get a perfect flat line and I will think that there is no difference between the 2 tracks, but when I normalize the third track that looks like a perfect flat line, I can get a full signal of kind of white noise that will show some difference that could be in the sample rate for example or other differences that come from some conversion or export process from the source DAW, and this is affecting the sound (subtly and could be annoying) in many cases. Sometimes when I use this method and I know that some differences exist between the 2 files and when these differences are normal, I will only keep a part of the 2 tracks that looks 100% identical in both of them and only validate that part with the "Normalize" method and see if there is some "noise" difference between the 2 for that part. I wish you a wonderful day, and thanks again for sharing your great knowledge ! 🙏😄👋🎶🎶🌠

So it's been a YEAR since this video. What happened to this channel? Is it dead?

Nope! Just had life stuff and work that was taking priority. In fact, we have a new video coming out in the next couple of days.

Find an easy-to-identify transient in both items and manually align them.
