    Thanks Mark. I have learned so much from your videos this past 2 weeks. I have made 10 projects and when I get something that isn't just right you have it covered in one of your videos and I can fix it up quickly. THANKS! You make this fun to learn!

    Nice Job Mark. I wish Vectric would add a clip art search function. I would assume it would be easy by adding in a data metadata tag.

    Hi. Maybe it is possible to refresh the cliparts clicking on the round rows near the little cloud or in one of the little preview squares at the right without the need to close and restart the program

      That button refreshes the clipart available for download on Vectric's website by checking for updates. You can click one of the other folders, then come back to the folder you're working in, and it'll update that way.

    Discovered something. After adding clipart to your clipart folder, you don't need to quit VCarve or Aspire to get the new clipart to show up. If you click on a different directory in your clipart library folders (for example the Clipart Library folder), then back on your personal clipart folder, the folder will refresh with the newly added files.
    Hope that isn't too confusing.

    With V Carve desktop can I save 3d designs that I have imported and revised with V Carve?

    • @MarkLindsayCNC
      @MarkLindsayCNC  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can save the project file with all of your model revisions in it, but you can't export the model as a separate STL file.

      Sorry, I am asking if I can save it as clip art in a new folder?

    Mark, when doing this does it only save the vectors or would the tool paths also be saved?

    • @MarkLindsayCNC
      @MarkLindsayCNC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Only the vectors. If you want to use the toolpaths as well, you would just use the original file from the original location.

    Mark, I am leagaly blind and use adaptive software to enlarge my screen plus I use a very large monitor this is coupled with a screen reader. My problem is the check marks in the boxes such as the ones for the tool paths. They appear as a light blue or grey. (I have no color in my limited vision) I spoke to a fellow V-Carve user and he said his check marks are nice and dark. He can't figure out how to adjust this. Any ideas?

    • @MarkLindsayCNC
      @MarkLindsayCNC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Mike! I would email Vectric Support about this and ask them if there's an option to highlight the check boxes in a different color. Do know that some of those check boxes are grayed out, and therefore unavailable, unless certain options are activated. For instance, in a V-Carve toolpath, the tool specific options for a clearance tool are unavailable if the option to use a clearance tool isn't checked. For anything other than that, I would contact Vectric Support and get their input. They certainly know their software best.

    Did the original 2D file folder come with vcarve? I do not have it.

    • @MarkLindsayCNC
      @MarkLindsayCNC  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes - it should come with the software, but you might need to go download it. Log into your V&Co account, scroll down just a little, then click the Download Clipart button. You'll find a list of all of the clipart you have available to download. Here's a link to the V&Co Login page: portal.vectric.com/login
