Don't agree on everything politically but thank you for what you said you got a fan for life and thank you for your service even though most of us don't deserve what you've done for us we are grateful I am grateful
Regarding 30:50: I've read something that will change your perspective on life and it's all so simple and in front of us, if we think about it. Around 6 years ago, I've read The Republic from Cicero. The main character is the famous Roman ruler: Scipio The African. At one point, he has to make an important decision and then he remembers one dream he had 20 years ago. His grandfather visited him in that dream (was also a famous ruler) to explain to him that earthly fame is nothing and will all disappear, no mattwr how big or famous you are. He tells him about periodic cataclismic events that happen and it's the way the planet works. Every 10 000 years or so, there is an apocalyptic event which erases everything from existance and Earth becomes born again. So yeah, neither Conor McGregor or ANYONE will be remembered forever, in the true sense of it. Although, his grandpa tells him that he has to do the right thing and listen to his heart, since if he does so - an eternal place in the stars awaits him. That's where all the great people like Leonidas, Romulus, him and the rest are forever located and enjoy themselves. My take on it: Since I struggled a lot during adolescense with existential crisis, this had really changed my life. The point is to live the life in the NOW, breathe and put the hand on your heart, have solid intentions. Not only in the stupid sense I've heard countless of times "LIVE IN THE NOW!". In a metaphysical, philosophical way as well. If you engrave that philosophy of working hard, but staying relaxed and in the moment - you will have your pkace forever. Somewhere in the stars. That's what I believe, anyways.
Children are a realistic way to preserve a legacy. They carry on your genetic information as well continue your ideals and values, depending on your parenting skills of course. Your comment is more self-important than you may think.
@@kimborampage I know what Luke was talking about, that’s why I specified. Seen a lot of men care about having kids for the wrong reasons. People who constantly go on about their children and legacy sound so self-important. I just hope for my kids grow up safe, happy, and confident in their own abilities. They can make their legacy. they do NOT have to have my family business, completely fine if it dies with me.
36:17 although objectively you’re right Luke, I think MMA is the wrong sport to make this point especially with top down control, and high turnover, and it being also pretty niche relative to other sports even today. I believe striving for greatness and legacy leads to people over achieving because even when you never get to the top, you still end up further than you would if you just figure that what you do wouldnt matter ultimately. And although on a macro scale, people will be forgotten, the inspiration to can mobilize others within your preview. And the people who care about their sport or art etc will remember them and build on it. Dereck jeter is literally one of the best baseball players ever, but still there are ppl who don’t care any baseball and don’t know him. Shooting for the stars is not aimless. And people more times than not don’t know what they’re capable of
💚🖤❤️ Thank you for speaking the TRUTH about Isn'tReal and the Ziohazard they pose, both in the Middle East and to our own safety and national prosperity here in America. Much love to you and your family, brother. 🍉 🍉 🍉
Gotta disagree big time that basically no MMA fighters will be remembered in 50 yrs. How many MMA fighters do we remember from the 90s, I would say a bunch. You said maybe jon jones, that's insane. We know boxers from the early 1900s. 100s of MMA fighters will be remembered in 50 yrs. Jon Jones for fighting and out of the cage incidents will be remembered/talked about for as long as MMA is talked about
Regional MMA in Canada has no niche to fill, it's got to be one of the most bare bones markets, and there's not enough big shows coming through for regional talent to fill in & get opportunities from. You HAVE to fight outside of the country to get anywhere. No one is going there to find you.
Luke rants for 20 minutes over how there will eventually be repercussions for a country attacking another country.....no shit Israel is attacking these other countries because they were attacked lol. Its hilarious to see him get so worked up over it. Hes so "personally" invested in it that he cant see his insane bias. The middle east situation sucks but lets talk mma
@jasonmehlhorn4359 this most recent conflict did. If you want to say well Israel did something 3 years ago and then someone says well Palestinians have always been terrorists such as the 1972 Olympics and it goes back and forth. That's why it's easiest to be logical and say this started October 7th with a different "country" and then October 8th Lebanon started the war against Israel. Luke also ignores that Palestine never even really existed as a country and that Israel tried to put Egypt in control of them but no one likes Palestinians for some reason. Then there's the thing about the UN refusing to do what they agreed to do and protect Israel's border from Lebanon. This does not mean Israel's actions are all justified. Just that Luke sitting up there and attacking Israel like that is insane after his response to October 7th was basically concern for attackers lol.
Regarding 55:31 -- I would love to see Luke Thomas debate Sam Harris. Generally I like listening to Harris but he does have some very biased views (everyone does) but he claims to be a rational and objective thinker which he clearly isn't.
Reacting emotionally and telling Sam Harris 'F you' over an article you haven’t even read doesn’t strengthen your argument. Consider inviting him onto your show for a respectful discussion.
@@Theredbastard2023 Sam was comparing the targeted attack to a regular missile strike, similar to what Iran just did. Just imagine if their air defenses malfunctioned or if something prevented them from intercepting any missiles; the consequences would be absolutely devastating. Israel is indeed in an existential war. They face jihadists on their southern and northern borders, along with threats from Iran, the Houthis, Syria, and Iraq, as well as terrorism from the West Bank, which recently resulted in the deaths of seven people near Jerusalem in a Hamas attack shortly before the Iranian strike. Israel is a tiny country with a small population, and all of its enemies seek to annihilate every Israeli citizen. The notion that Palestinians would be satisfied with a two-state solution is laughable. I understand that seeing children pulled from rubble is tragic, but that is the reality of war. Hamas initiated this conflict and embedded themselves among civilians to maximize collateral damage. They want Israel to kill as many children as possible because that is part of their strategy, and it is proving effective. Hezbollah began firing rockets on October 8 and has launched 9,000 rockets into Israel since the attack. They had no disputes with Israel regarding land or occupation, yet they still initiated a war against Israel. What does Luke expect Israel to do? Should they sit back and allow terrorists to kill their citizens, take hostages, and fire thousands of rockets at them without any response?
I understand Luke's frustrations with other countries' unrest, but i just don't see how we dont have more of an America first mindset. We have many problems at our own house that need addressing before worrying about the neighbors house. Idk just seems logical
Because in the real world we don't exist in a vacuum. Russia invading Ukraine caused a famine in Africa because the world depends of Ukrainian grain production. That famine lead to worsening the social unrest in Central African countries. That resulted in increased influence in the region by Chinese soft power. China's interest is preventing alternative, African, sources of rare minerals from reaching western buyers without Chinese involvement because China is the world's primary supplier. Many of those same minerals go into a country that China itself is threatening to invade (Taiwan) because they are the ONLY producer of high tech commodities that the world depends upon, including our own military industry. There is no such thing as a viable isolationism. We have to be involved because the world, including us, depends upon it. Your house is dependent upon your neighbors. That's the real world.
@cjohnson3836 that's great that you learned information and are saying it back in your own format, but you're making it sound way too complex. Our country is slipping away because of dumb policies from people that don't like America. It's time to focus on our home front. 🇺🇸💪💯
@@cjohnson3836...thank you for your globalist perspective. Do you really think Russia invaded Ukraine for fun? A civil war erupted in Ukraine after the mostly ethnic Russian populace refused to acknowledge the unelected government that came to power after a U.S. supported coup in 2014. Russia did not enter the conflict on behest of the Eastern provinces until 2022. That's 8 years Russia spent trying to negotiate a peace with the Maidon govt. But the E.U.. and U.S. wanted to sell weapons instead...the United States has been strategically attempting to surround Russia with military bases since the fall of the USSR. The West wants to split Russia into 3 smaller territories that would make it easier to exploit. After all there are untold trillions of mineral assets under Russian soil. The US government is now more corrupt and incompetent than it has ever been.
@@cjohnson3836I appreciate you. You’re starting down the right path with the right intentions, keep digging. I’m not trying to be condescending or belittling, if a majority of US citizens like you and me and the gentleman who wrote the other comment here about not living in an isolated vacuum we’d be in business. Please keep digging and even if you want to keep it super duper simple just add up the math that Luke is laying out. 1) Israel is using weapons to commit genocide 2) the US is actively providing said weapons to Israel (AS I FUCKING TYPE THIS). No weapons = likely much less genocide. What I’m saying also doesn’t oppose your ‘let’s focus on our own issues in America’ opinion either. But examples like these providing clear proof that our government is actively supporting a genocide have to at the very least get us thinking that maybe we’re the bad guys. This last part luke didn’t speak on so let me say it’s my opinion not my opinion of what I think you’re saying, luke said or what that other gentleman said above. Gotta follow the money. Many factors here, 1) we are Israel’s biggest supporter, we know they’re commuting a genocide. 2) please look at the US’s largest general exports, you’ll find weapons in the top three easily. Wars = profits. 3) Long term planning. We live in a capitalist country. Just follow the money. There are easily 10 more accurate things to list that a scholar on this topic could much better articulate than a novice like myself but I’m saying all this to say I agree with your sentiments, just keep digging. Most people don’t have time or the outlets or the care to take the time. These are children’s limbs being torn apart from weapons that came directly from taxes you and I paid the government a few months ago.

I still do not understand why and how you reconcile your passionate support for people who are, by your _own_ standards, "bigots"?
Don't agree on everything politically but thank you for what you said you got a fan for life and thank you for your service even though most of us don't deserve what you've done for us we are grateful I am grateful
The rant about legacy😂😂😂
I was just envisioning Brad Pitt screaming at me "IMMORTALITY TAKE it, it's YOURS!" 😅😅😅
Coping hard!
Loog should change his logo to a grey and some aging lines in the face 😂
Luke needs to start TRT ASAP!!
I have the same opinion about "legacy" , even Michael Jackson will be forgotten eventually, no doubt about it.
I’m traveling as a Mexican! New laws I can now become a Mexican dual citizen. That gets me my green passport! 🇲🇽
Hate is like acid, it only burns the vessel that carries it...
Love this, man. Really love this. Thank you for sharing!
What a response re Israel 👏👏👏
The legacy talk always makes me laugh specifically when men say that’s why they want kids😂😂 so self-important
Children are a realistic way to preserve a legacy. They carry on your genetic information as well continue your ideals and values, depending on your parenting skills of course. Your comment is more self-important than you may think.
@@willismcgee5216 oh fucking brother 😂
@@Sled27donchildren are a literal form of legacy. Luke was talking about people with self important ideas of their name and life being remembered.
Obviously I’m bias
Do you remember that guy who said nobody would remember him?
And people more times than not don’t know what they’re capable of
ARAM ON EUW AHAHAHAH , ME! IM LITERALLY PLAYING ARAM RN XD

Thank you for speaking the TRUTH about Isn'tReal and the Ziohazard they pose, both in the Middle East and to our own safety and national prosperity here in America. Much love to you and your family, brother.

Don't put your fingers in your beard, but make sure you wear your shoes in the house
Jon Jones for fighting and out of the cage incidents will be remembered/talked about for as long as MMA is talked about
Sure by mma and boxing hardcore fans. Casual fans will not remember.
Where the hell is MK Friday, damn it
Regional MMA in Canada has no niche to fill, it's got to be one of the most bare bones markets, and there's not enough big shows coming through for regional talent to fill in & get opportunities from.
You HAVE to fight outside of the country to get anywhere. No one is going there to find you.
Missing timestamps
Just fucking watch it. He doesn't owe you timestamps.
They attacked them in retaliation for Israel bombing, shooting and constantly annexing land. Neither government are innocent.
Yes, because the conflict started on 7th October 2023.

Sea level Cain was an animal
the only fighter that deserves to live forever from recent years is Jose Aldo :)
Thanks for the negativity Luke 😂 hope you're doing better today. God bless 🙏🏽
I do agree on the isreal and war stuff though
John Jones. Sure got a great legacy , the only guy to be blaintently caught cheating and still given praise
Regarding 55:31 -- I would love to see Luke Thomas debate Sam Harris. Generally I like listening to Harris but he does have some very biased views (everyone does) but he claims to be a rational and objective thinker which he clearly isn't.
luke would get mollywhopped. debating isnt his thing, & hes just flatout wrong on most of the tpouc
He'll get exposed mate. Theirs a difference between surface level knowledge and in depth analytical view point which requires critical thinking.
It’s all right to have a rat about that. I need to learn about just not sound good.
Zionazis coming out the woodwork 😂
Prime Cain is the best heavyweight , period . Would’ve bodied fedor
Reacting emotionally and telling Sam Harris 'F you' over an article you haven’t even read doesn’t strengthen your argument. Consider inviting him onto your show for a respectful discussion.
I just read the article. What parts is he wrong about ?

You said Korea is a place you'd like to visit I see the other places you mentioned r destination locations not necessarily Korea
I understand Luke's frustrations with other countries' unrest, but i just don't see how we dont have more of an America first mindset. We have many problems at our own house that need addressing before worrying about the neighbors house. Idk just seems logical
Well, we live in a global society. If Hitler 2.0 was going around Europe again killing Christians by the millions , would you say “nay let him do it”?
