I watched this right after the video of the first curtain call for clueless, and I must say, next to clueless this is the best curtain call I have ever seen in my life (probably don’t even need to watch the curtain call for clueless to think this, but whatever)
Likely because of child labor laws (and child labor laws are especially tough in California). Employing a child to do multiple shows per day would be illegal (in practically every state). Kids on Broadway already work extremely hard (one show a day, two on Sunday and Wednesday, and Mondays off). So they do shows and rehearsals and on top of that, they have to do tutoring. The kids on Broadway probably work harder than many of the adults because they have to do everything the adults do PLUS school work. It is a very fine balance on Broadway where kids are concerned. No way could they handle multiple shows a day required at a theme park while doing school work also.
I have no idea how they made Sven but i don't want to know, because it would spoil the magic. It looks FANTASTIC! I can't even find words to describe how much i love it. And he even blinks and moves his ears! So cute! Such a shame i won't see the show.
My favorite curtain call is When I Grow Up/Naughty (reprise) from Matilda The Musical! I became obsessed with that one and then when I discovered Frozen, I became in love with that one too but you're right, they are fun to watch!
