What mic do you recommend for electric guitar distorted?

Tough question. It varies. Shure SM57 is always a safe bet. But I have used large diaphragm mic often such as: AKG 414, Austrian Audio 818, Lewitt 540 & Ribbons mostly Royer 121 (coupled with a SM57). I also like the Fredman method occasionally

@@ryanshook8284 I would recommend the AEA N22 and the R92. See the video of the comparisons. KU5A is too nasal for distorted guitars
