I tend to get bored really quickly watching other people do nails simply bc they cant seem to keep my interest, but watching any of your videos is completely different not only is just watching ur work entertaining but the way you speak abt what ur doing and just talking def keeps my interest ur work is amazing, ur super talented!
Gel girlie here! You actually did an amazing job with application! If you want a good apex I suggest turning the nail over for a couple of seconds so gravity can do its thing and flip it back over. I also suggest working with a gel with a thicker viscosity (like Beetles builder gel in a bottle) bc it will self level. I love the design 😍 ❤
I've been binging through your videos while I do my nails, I've never been into doing my own nail art but you inspired me so much 😭 your vibe and personal aesthetic are unmatched
Ok so speaking of using weird techniques/tools and being an innovator, I have gotten OBSESSED with super decorated nails like these and wanting to do them myself- but I’m staunchly anti-gel/acrylic. Just a personal preference, I’ve been trying to figure out methods for gel style nail art with just normal polish. So far, the pigment auras have been huge for me and I’ve even bought magnetic pigments and used them to mix my own cat eye regular top coat! Tonight, I realized that I could use old, gloopy, kind of dried out top coat like a 3d art builder gel, and used it to make texture like the shell design you did in this video! It worked!!! I’m so hype about it, and honestly wonder if I’m the only person to ever do this before
Nail tech here! With hard gel you’re doing it right but what I do for my clients is create a slip layer which is just one coat of the hard gel on the nail (not built up) and then cure it. After it’s cured then I build it up! You did great tho and you have a general idea too!! ❤️
the thumbnail alone took my breath away tbh. these are so so beautiful cyy 😭🩷 edit: 11:42 LMFAOOOO this killed me i’m sorry 😭 but i’m happy that you’re finally using eyeshadow and stuff now. i ended up getting a bunch of pigment powders off of amazon a while back and i prefer it over my old airbrush tbh
Thank you!!🥹 Honestly my stubbornness is the root of my problems and I need to get over myself sometimes and listen to people💀 but the move to eyeshadow and pigments has been literally a lifesaver!💕
These are cute❤...I usually use 2 coats of Basecoat, then the polish...all thin layers and wiping the sides. After that a matte coat for the designs then two coats of top coat. That usually works well for my pressons that I sell. It doesn't shrink the nails or add too much bulk...but it gives some strength.
Love how these turned out!! Nice oceanic vibe🐠🩵🫧 Almond nails are a classic elegant shape✨ I agree with you on needing an apex for press-ons, I just can’t rock them flat😩
I prefer and honestly only do press-on nails, and Im looking for products that can give acrylic durability without using acrylic, as well as the apex. I literally just watched another video of yours applying full-cover press-ons but not all the way to the cuticle to get the apex ( super cute btw). I wondered if I could use gel to make the nails stronger and get a good apex... and here I am 😊
Also lol, with the shells, get a jewelry mallet that has a silicone or rubber side and a steel side. I hit them lightly with the rubber or silicone side with a thin cloth over it or a plastic bag. It'll break it up a little easier. If you ever use gold leaf and need those pieces smaller, buy a herb or weed grinder. It looks like a tiny blender. Just push it for a couple of seconds. It will take the frustration out of working with gold leaf.
I play the sims on console almost everyday 😊 i wish I could play with mods but I do know that it makes the game super broken. I love building, lately I’ve been playing with the island living pack a lot and I love it. Also, this set is so pretty.
Heyyy Girl! When using hard gel or builder gel you wanna use a slip layer. But most importantly once you apply you need to flip the nail upside down. This helps with shape, apex and self levelling! Trust me (I’m a nail tech using it on the daily) 🤪 also! I love your videos and nail art is always bomb AF!
What I do with gel to keep everything structured well in the shape is when I first add the gel, I do the bulk down the center first. Then I thin it out slightly toward the sides, tip, and bottom. When I get the shape down then I flip the nail upside down and let gravity pull everything in and create the shape. I leave it for about 10 seconds max and stay watching from the sides to make sure it reaches a level point. It takes a little longer, but it is so worth it. Use gravity in your favor with gels and polishes
What I sadly had to do for sims was having to make different folders and open the game and quit it back and forth to make sure to get rid of the broken cc or mods. It’s a WHOLE process but it’s worth it! Also I love your videos and nails so much you are so talented🥹 been doing nails for 3 years now and do them in college, keep up the good work!!❤❤❤
This was so satisfying to watch and you had me cracking up 🤣🤣 esp about using the eyeshadow now. Love your personality 🫶🏽 fellow sims player, sims 4 is just so ghetto 😭😭 my game never runs smoothly anymore…I do play on MAC but still lol I love my ombre brushes because trying to ombre be stressing me out. I’m also a color treated loc girlie, I only retwist once a month. I use to do all my loc maintenance but now I have an amazing locitian that lessens the stress for sure. So I get it lol
I’ve had my airbrush from Ophir for a little over 4 yrs now and it works like brand new I also use the ink made for it and clean it properly after every single use
Hello from Japan! I love your work, it’s inspiring, but I’m dying to know where to get that star plate you test the paints on? I saw someone else with a heart sand now I’m curious.
I would also prefer less talking maybe just on the second part. But really girl, it's a pleasure watching every single video from u. Best regards from italy u so talented and good being, i hope for u lucky things💖💖💖
coming back to say that i play the sims too but idk the ins and the outs of it like everyone else does. i really just be on there making my sim go to work and kiss people LMFAOOOOO 😭 but i would love to get into it more and do more building stuff cause it’s daunting af to me but looks so cool
Trust me building in the sims is hard at first but becomes ADDICTIVE after a few years😭 And now that I have thousands of cc items, I don’t think I could ever okay without building💀 And if I get a chance to make my sim messy and steal all of the townies’ partners, I certainly do🙂↕️

What's a slip layer? Are you just talking about slip solution/alcohol like with polygel?

With the eyeshadow technique, did you put base coat first or just a top coat? I’ve tried and my eyeshadow doesn’t stick to the nail 😢
I like to use matte top coat before applying the eyeshadow🫶🏼
im gonna go back to sims 3 honestly

Do people really buy press on nails online?
It will be nice if you reduce your words while your video still remains fun and educating
