You shouldn’t put a nail on your pinky until it is completely healed. I know you’re a nail creator but please leave the pinky alone. Maybe do the press on to show the entire set but do not put it on your nail. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dont worry thats absolutely what I did🫶🏼 i just used a sticky tab to hold the nail down for the end result; my nail will absolutely not be messed with during this process I promise😭🙏🏼
@@nailsbycyy Try using Tea Tree oil on the nail, allow it to heal, & keep it as dry as possible, it is the only thing that has worked for me besides never using acrylic again, I only use gels now & have never had a nail fungus since.. You can also put the Tea Tree oil under the bottom of the nail about once a week to prevent it but ever since I stopped using acrylics to do my nails I have not gotten any fungus growth & I don't take my nails off for any period of time.. Hope this helps..
You're SO good that I wouldn't care if you didn't put anything at all on that pinky besides your treatment. Just take care of it. Love you. You’re awesome
Girl I saw this set on Pinterest and saved immediately, then I come on TH-cam and see that it was YOUR SET!!! I love all of your work, you are so talented and I’m always excited to see you posted!
I had an awful infection on my index finger for a few weeks and when i finally went to the er they recommended I drained it (although it didn’t really “need” to be drained). So they did that for me and it actually helped a lot! They also recommended hot soaks 3 times a day until it started to go down. I know it’s home remedy but maybe it will help! Besides the point you’re so inspiring and your nails are beautiful!!!
Oregano Oil is great for nail fungus! It does sting if it gets in the eyes, so maybe in a glove overnight? I used Oregono oil on my toe fungus after fighting it for 2 years. Gone in 3 months! Hope it helps! Also I would recommend not putting a press on over it. Keeping it clean a dry is best. No judgement, just suggestions from a new nail tech!
No sabes lo desesperada que estaba por hacer este diseño y no sabía ni por dónde empezar y lo terminé dejando, y recién encuentro que tienes el tutorial completo omg ahora mismo eres la persona que más amo, tus diseños son hermosos, just a new follower in all’s your social media
These nails are so freakin cute. 🌸🐞 I can’t wear nails because I’m a massage therapist but if I did I would pay you whatever you want to do them. ☺️ 10/10. I like seeing you paint the polygel, I find that to be extremely relaxing. Thanks for sharing your gifts. 🦋
Wow girl, you literally make this look so smooth and easy and that was so not my experience lol. I suck at acrylic and gave up on it ages ago. But you've inspired me to give it another go. ❤ Thanks love your work.
So pretty! I love how your process of showing the details is so on point!!!! So glad I found you. I'm looking for the supplies now, (13yr nail tech looking to get back into the business/part-time.
YOURE CRAZYYY😆😆 i LOVEEE your videos so much!!!! although i have no desire to become a licensed nail tech, i have this URGE to design nail sets for myself!! spearheaded by your videos of course! i ALWAYS enjoy seeing a new video from you
Your talent is top tier for sure I love getting inspo from you, now true story I had that same issue but it was in my big toe I got tired of it seeming to just never go away the meds wasn’t doing anything maybe just making me feel sick. Well I was watching this older lady talk about remedies and she spoke of how to get rid of fungus bleach and tea tree oil mixed together,I said BLEACH 😱 but I tried everything so what the heck. I kid you not it’s gone I mixed it in a little brown glass bottle that has that squeezer on it and I soaked my toe and used a nail brush 2 times a day for a month it really worked 😊😊 the first couple of times I did it I could feel it working too😅
Hello Silver wings 250 PPM colloidal silver is the best for EVERYTHING! I also would put a half dropper under my tongue and let sit before swallowing and follow with a full glass of water. Do that for 3 days. I hope it helps you and have a good day 😊
Awesome. Nail fungus unfortunately is my friend too from time to time - I’m sure you know that it is generally contagious and you shouldn’t use anything on your other nails that you are using on your pinkie. That includes nail files nippers etc. I just went through a nasty round last year and was told under no circumstances should I be putting anything on my finger including press ons - the prying/pulling causes secondary infections. I was also told to use UV rays to help kill the fungus and it worked fast up to 10 minutes twice a day. I used my flash cure lamp and it was summer so I just baked my poor little Irish skin every chance I got 😂 and kept up the file and paint the meds stuff. Really try your lamp it works. Get well soon
I am so happy that I found your channel. You are so talented, so amazing. ❤ Your voice is also so soothing, and it is so nice hearing it. I know this one video is older, but i pray your health is doing better. 🙏 I am binging on your videos now 😂. 💅 💅 ❤🥰🤗🩷🧡💛🖤🩶💙🩵💚🤎
Omg 3 of my nails are somewhat similar to this nail! It comes from messing with my cuticle. I wasn’t sure what was going on.I thought it would get puffy from my gelx. I found that leaving it alone helps I’m letting mines grow & taking a break from nails🥺🥴
Tea tree oil diluted with vitamin E oil, jojoba oil and oregano oil has been working great for me. Tea tree and oregano oils are natural antibiotics/antibacterials and work great for combating the inflammation. Make sure they are all organic and 100% pure oils though. The vitamin E and jojoba are to bring back the health to your cuticle and nail plates. I keep a mix of these oils in a nail pen all the time and if I nick myself, that's the pen that I use and works great at keeping the inflammation away.
I have noticed that NP and Kiara Sky monomer both play well with others. Np smell kinda takes me out, of the two...it has a stronger smell. Nice application, and design...so relaxing
I got a nail infection from either a nail salon or a CrossFit gym years ago. The only two things that worked were iodine drops and borax. I would wash my hands with borax and hot water, and then apply iodine drops everywhere around the nail and the infected bed. I hope this helps.❤❤
I love how you are always creative with bold designs and colors. This set is ✨stunning✨. Wishing you a speedy recovery! My mother was just treated for a fungal skin infection. We went to our general physician/family doctor, and she was prescribed anti-fungal meds AND an anti-fungal topical cream. The medication was only for 1 week and she’s been on creams for about 3 months now since it’s a slow recovery time. Also while she was taking the pills, she was given meds to protect and flush out her liver because we were told the anti-fungal pills are toxic/harsh to the liver. This is just my mother’s case, but maybe the info could be helpful. Wishing you the best! Love your videos 😘
I hope your mom is doing well! Antibiotics are honestly so scary when it comes to gut health! I have a dermatologist appointment tomorrow so I’m hoping to get some answers; I can tell this is gonna be quite the healing journey😭 Tysm for sharing your experiences with me💖
Hey love!!! Have you tried black sab. If not put black sab on the infected area and cover for a few hrs to a full day. And remove and clean with a antibacterial soap like dawn or dial. Let it air out and repeat. Black sap draws the "pus" or infection out of the infected area. Give it a try hope this helps and you heal quickly. One love✌🏼❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Edit: also know as Drawing Salve or Ichthammol ointment
Try a natural antibacterial balm with a beeswax base and essential oils that have anti fungal properties in it in place of cuticle oil every time you wash your hands. I had a cuticle infection and I did this I would give you a recommendation but the one I use is a natural healing balm and uses native NZ plants and I don’t know if it’s internationally shipped.
I relate sm to the comment about being gaslight by a medical professional, if you feel up to it, trying to go back or even seeing a different doctor is a good idea!
It’s so frustrating because you feel like you’re crazy when they downplay your issues😭 But I do have an appointment with a dermatologist tomorrow so we’ll see what happens🥲
this set is amazing! it bothered me slightly that your ladybug is missing 2 legs lol but hey most people won't notice haha. It's suchhhh a cute set though
Okay so I had the same thing and for me it’s the gel polish touching my cuticle it causes it to itch and it swells up so bad , also my nails started to lift all of them because I was using gel glue to glue down my nails . And I used that same lamp you had and that’s when my problem started , I learned that the hard way . That lamp is just to quickly flash cure but it don’t cure completely so you must use another lamp to cure your nails the proper way . How I healed my nails which took me 8 months . 😅 1: kerasal you find it in amazon . 2 : I used oregano oil along with African shea butter and coated all my hands / nails / cuticle and slept with gloves on every single night . 3 : I no longer do the cuticle push back on my nails because that will prevent the healing . When I do my nails now this was a major step I took off my list when I do them now . Yeah my nails don’t last long but I rather that then have to deal with this infection honestly . 4: I no longer wash dishes without gloves ! I noticed the constant wetting of my hands were giving that infection room to grow . So I wear gloves when I clean or wash dishes . 4: African shea butter is your bestfriend to keep your cuticle nice and moisturized I still use it and I’ve had my hands cured for about 4 months now and my nails are looking back to normal . 5: also just a reminder always , always wipe your cuticle area with mail polish remover or alcohol before you cure completely each time you paint your nails . I’m not an expert love but from my experience 😢 I had to do all these steps and I had to stop completely doing my nails for the time that my nails were healing because I had this in all 10 nails 😢. I hope my information helps . ❤❤❤ much love and I LOVE AND ENJOY YOUR NAIL VIDEOS YOUR ARE BEYOND TALENTED ❤❤❤
Hiii! 😊 I love all your videos and I’ve been watching you for a few months now and I love your designs, they’re so pretty! About your pinky nail, I had nail fungus a year or two ago, and I also got this nail lacquer from my doctor! It took me a while for me to heal, and get better - I had to wait for my nail to grow out for the fungus to go away so don’t worry! But your dermatologist sounds really annoying 💀 Anyways keep up the good videos!! ❤❤
I’m glad you enjoy my videos!🥹💕 And ughh yes I feel like the healing time is gonna kill me😭 But I have faith that I’ll heal able to get rid of this fungus for good😭
The cuticle is on the nail bed. You should not cut the skin near your nail bed as that is a nail protector. That is the reason for your infection. I would recommend refraining from cutting the skin near your nail bed. 💜 Your nails are absolutely fabulous!!!
I hope that you are able to find a new dermatologist because being gaslit by a medical professional is not a great feeling and definitely would make me feel less trusting of their advice. I hope your pinky gets better!
Omg (this migjt be long) first, I am so glad you are ok! I recently came across you because I am just starting my nail Journey. I watched all your videos and of course stalked your IG. I saw you hadn't in a qhile and was hoping you were ok. I dont know if it will work on your nails but Black Seed Oil helps boost your immune system and Tea Tree Oil is a natural antiseptic. I highly recommend to try putting some tea tree oil on there with some black seed oil. If anything, it may help stop the fungus from growing so rapidly, so you can adequately treat the nail/skin. Tbh (im not medical professional, but your nail may be hindering the treatment if its topical.
Thank you for your concerns, I’m doing okay!🥹😭 I haven’t been on IG because it just isn’t a place I want to post nail content at the moment, but I am thinking of coming back soon!💕 And thank you for the recommendation, I use tea tree oil to help prevent it from worsening, but I’ll definitely look into black seed oil as well🫶🏼
The part that you cut off with so called “cuticle cutters” is called a eponychium. It’s that thick skin layer that sits on top of the nail that most people call the cuticle but the cuticle is that clear dead skin layer that sits on top of your nail. That skin fold on your nail prevent infections and water from getting trapped underneath that pocket opening that the eponychium is covering. So the reason why you so call cut yourself while cutting that skin layer is because it’s not supposed to be removed and it’s very much living skin. The only time it needs to be removed is when it’s fully dead and over grown onto the nail.
My dermatologist gave me this ointment, Clobetasol Propionate USP 0.05% and any time I get redness or itchiness. I put this on it and a few days later it's gone. Check to see if it will work for you.
I’d say try oregano oil cut w carrier oil coconut, almond, jojoba . Oregano is a natural antibiotic. Do get quality grade essential oil . I get mine from Doterra.
Get yourself some anti-bacterial gel for your pinky and soak it in warm water 15 mins a 3/4 times a day. Please don’t put or touch your pinky if you want it to heal quicker. 💗
You shouldn’t put a nail on your pinky until it is completely healed. I know you’re a nail creator but please leave the pinky alone. Maybe do the press on to show the entire set but do not put it on your nail. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Hello
Silver wings 250 PPM colloidal silver is the best for EVERYTHING! Clean your nail and put a couple drops on it let it dry don't cover it and do this like 3 times a day for 3 days or so and see how it goes.

Thank you! I’ve been hearing a lot about oregano oil; I may have to look into that🤭

Get yourself some anti-bacterial gel for your pinky and soak it in warm water 15 mins a 3/4 times a day. Please don’t put or touch your pinky if you want it to heal quicker. 💗
