Another thing I love about the Gyaru style is that a lot of the makeup and fashion is based on the opposites of beauty standards in Japan. Giant eyeliner and bold makeup, tan skin, maximalist loud clothes ect ect. It's such a wonderful subgenre and interesting part of Japanese culture and I would love to see you do more of these styles! =)
Thank you for sharing this! I’m so glad I got a chance to look into Gyaru culture because I’ve learned a lot about Japan’s socioeconomic norms and how this style and culture is a form of rebellion against it! Funnily enough I learned something new just from doing some nails😭
My pinky was also the same way. It was a combo of a cheap primer that burned my nail plate and dirty tools (chop shop) it took a year for my nail to grow back. Cutting it down and making sure it’s not exposed to a lot of moisture has been my go to and cleaning it with alcohol

for your pinky, try kerasil. I lost 1/3 of my nail from paronychia in 2022 & it grew back after 6 months, it was a lifesaver

hey boo my pinky nail broke back in december due to lifting and weakness and it looked the same as yours. i left that nail ALONE for 3 months and did the rest of my nails so i wouldn’t prolong the process of it healing and it’s back to normal nowwww. tea tree oil is good but i would add cuticle oil too it to everyday and have it covered with bandage so it won’t get infected ❤

Fun fact about gyaru: it’s mostly inspired by Californians (which explains the tan skin, (bleached) blonde hair and beach theme stuff). It exists because they’re tired of their beauty standards over there

I typically use lotsss of inspiration from sets that I see other nail techs do! When you first start doing freestyles, studying the work of others and building on your own creativity is the way to go!🫶🏼

Maybe you should see a doctor about it. They can give you a topical that will get rid of the fungus.
Hello love! New friend to your channel from southeast Kentucky! I love getting to chat with and make new forever friends here on TH-cam and I hope we can chat sometime. I hope to get back to doing my videos once again soon and have been doing vids my channel for a few years now. I sadly had to take a break from doing vids to fight stage 2 triple negative breast cancer from 2020-2022 and missed doing vids so much but now I’m gratefully in remission and pray I never see cancer again, so now that I’m starting to look and feel more like myself again I want to get back to doing my beauty vids Plus I want to add doing nail vids too. I lost all my pretty hair, lashes and brows and looked so sickly and didn’t want anyone to see me so sick which is why I had to take my break. Have you tried using Dr Schols Nail fungus, Fungicure or kerasal nail fungus treatment along with you tea tree oil. You should be able to pick these products up at any drug store Walgreens, Walmart or CVS
No I haven’t but maybe I’ll look into it! I’ve tried other drugstore nail fungus treatments in the past but they never seemed to work🥲
I saw some suplement treatment’s but I just suggested the topical meds I hope you find a solution ❤
