I'm not one for comparing, but your one of the best grounded content creators along with shrew. You don't complain, just gameplay and good content. Love your stuff man. If you ever get burnt of this game I'd love to see you in other survival games.
Thanks! Glad you enjoy the content! I try to keep it light hearted and entertaining while providing a little criticism here and there. Of course the game doesn't have many devs so I'm not going to sit and cry all day, they are doing their best with the resources they have.

The mantis' and infected wolf spider's attack being unblockable would make sense if there was a dodge mechanic or something, but there isn't. I hope that the devs change them to be a little more balanced.

you can actually parry everything from the mantis, except the second and third slam on it's slam attack because I always parry the first one while running away, tho everything still gives you the debuffs
mantis is parriable, and the inf wolf spider is counterable with trinkets
its parriable but you basically have to nohit it, but i mean same for ibm so invalid arguement@@deez-qs8ds
@@deez-qs8dsin the current version the mantis’s jump and scream attacks are unable to be perfect blocked or blocked in general.

Yeah it's really expensive but I made sure to do quests as I went to save up
Yeah there’s 2 ways to get tough to get stuff grind a bunch of enemies or a boss/grind random quests that are easy but worth almost nothing
I sometimes get bored of grounded but after I watch one of your entertaining videos it inspires and encourages me to play again keep up the good work 👍 Also the infected wolf spider is probably your favourite bug in woah

quick tip to anyone struguling to beat the wasp queen on whoa you can just use a crossbow yup any crossbow with any arrow because the wasp queen minions need 3 hits to kill with any weapon so just shoot block then shoot again to kill them really quickly i dont know how i figured out this trick but i am glad as this boss had me raging
True, the minions die in 3 hits to almost anything
its pretty unbelievable that you can survive 150 days in whoa difficulty! I wish i could do something like that
I mean I did die like 50+ times but I did another world on hardcore in which I 100%ed the game with no deaths on whoa

I have a tip for the infected wolf spider, I'm not sure if it will still work, but simply make an area to get high up like on top of the light next to the tree, and while the spider is making its rounds just shoot from up there with a bow, and eventually it will jump of there, then just glide down to the ant hole entrance, and it should jump back down and die from fall damage. Though, I do believe you have to do quite a bit of damage, but I'll leave that for you to find out lol. Again, I will most likely come back to update if it even works still.
I was trying to get the volatile fang trinket. This can only be obtained by stealing which requires melee hits. I also had to use the sticky fingers trinket to steal more items which is what made it so hard
28:11 ah yes...really rare, wait...am I just lucky that I got the Suspicious Ice Cap trinket when I first harvested the ice caps mints near the SPAC.R and the Wondorous Wormhole trinket from my first time getting sour lumps?

You can block every attack. It’s just very hard for certain, except for the scream that’s impossible.
Not true. You can't block the explosive attacks from the infected wolf spider. You also can't block the jump or land from, the mantis. Even if you do block the other mantis attacks you still get all the debuffs.

You can equipped perfect Perry mutation, which will help you parry more
Not how it works. The parry master mutation gives you stamina every time you parry, it doesn't help parrying at all

It's crazy you got the Speed Droplet after what, 80 Aphids? Me and my friend had to punch over 300 Aphids for it to drop using Sticker Fingers + Rascal Rogue. Talking about no luck

In the mantis fight when it uses super attack just hold up ur shield and walk away
It's an option, I feel 2 handed weapons are just unusable now in the mantis fight because of the parry debuff, so boring

What I would do against the mantis is go into 3rd person and play it safe even with melee as I managed to take it out with a widow dagger on 1st try
True but I didn't want to spend 3 hours fighting it. Even playing it safe can be a pain as everytime she screams you just have to wait for the debuffs to run out
11:20 I think the game keeps track of duplicate gold cards you would have gotten but just doesn't show you
Yeah maybe but I would have needed like 20+ dupes so I feel it's unlikely

Does anyone have a guide on how to build on the oak tree? Like how to anchor or how high you can actually build
Anchor using ramps to multiple points, ideally high up like on the light or roots. You can also use the mushrooms on the tree as anchors. Don't go too high or the tree becomes non existent and you walk straight through it
Hey I’ve been on a woah world for over 90 something days and on day 40 I got the tick macuahuitl or whatever it’s called max level, jeez it carries! I was max Health on most fights, and smashed all tha bosses
Would recommend it mighty though, flavour lowers health steal from an experiment I done
It just does so much less damage than every other weapon though, not my favourite personally

I would have gone to 200 but there was nothing left other than to farm gold cards. Wouldn't be worth a whole video unless they made another big update like this one

Can u explain why u used every weapon u used and what bugs u killed with them? For example why’d u make a sour rusty spear and what’d u use it against?
Sour rusty spear was for underwater as throwing it 1 shots every creature in particular the spiny water fleas. Other weapons were just good against all enemies of that elemental weakness

What would u use a spicy widow dagger on and what would u use a spicy broodmother club on? What’s the point of having all elemental types for 2 different weapons? Is one better than the other?

You get it once you've beaten all of them. If you don't have it then you've missed a tayz.t somewhere. Most likely it's the ones under the hedge in a broken lab piece

did you ever try the sleek gasmask against the infected wolf spider? does it make any difference?
From what I heard on Whoa it is better to wear a roly poly helmet than the sleek gasmask. Haven't tested it too much myself though
Maybe you could try that in another myth busting Video. I wonder if the explosion dmg reduction helps against the wolf spider and can't try it out myself because on my world I haven't closed the hole in the gas tank yet and don't plan to in the next time

I had the fungal charm. I can't use 2 trinkets at once and I was using sticky fingers to steal the trinket from the inf wolf spider.

Make sure you are looting them every time or no gold. But yeah some creatures feel lower than a 1% chance
