Great comparison vid. Couldn't go wrong with either one, but personally I prefer a loaded chamber, decocked, DA 1st shot over a striker fire pistol. Thank you for a great look at both of these models👍
I’ve got to say this was one of the best gun reviews I’ve seen so far. You covered so much information quickly and no beating around the bush. Good quality video and sound. Great job and I’m subscribing to your page today.
As someone who carried a gun for a living for 30 years you nailed it when you said a couple of ounces of weight can make a BIG difference when carrying all day long. In retirement I carry the lightest service caliber gun possible.
I've been wanting to scale down from an xds .45 to a 9mm to consolidate ammo types and wasn't sure if I wanted another xds or the xde. I think you just made the decision for me. I didn't realize how much larger the xde was. Thank you for a fantastic and unbiased review!
@@durrtybuck8949 I love mine, I got the houge grip sleeve so it fills my hand a little better, if I was gonna change anything it would be the trigger, the shape is kinda "hooked " and makes it a little uncomfortable. However, it's really only a problem when firing double action....... anyways, awsome little 45
I've been carrying the XDe for a little over 18 months now, and it's holding up very well. I generally wear it in an IWB Uncle Mike's, and even at a run/half sprint, it seems to stay in place pretty well. Also, I'm one of those external safety guys, which is half the reason I switched over from the Kahr 9. Also, because Springfield.
Really liked the format you have. No bias, just showing the facts and let you decide. I wish the news was back to this and keep their opinions to themselves. After your review I have decided to go with the XDE as I already have a 40 ca. Full size in striker fire. Main reason being the slightly easier slide. Having Springfield before was the final decision maker. For the one who accused Springfield owners as being Obama lovers, not true. I never have voted Democratic and never will.
I was so impressed by your quality review that I just subscribed. What sets you apart from the field is you just present the facts. I haven't seen anyone else do a similar review without at least inadvertently expressing their preference for striker or hammer. I shamelessly would like to request a comparison review between the XDE and the CZ PCR. I am looking to get one of these for my new carry gun and would love to hear what you have to say. Thanks for your time and effort.
Hey thanks for watching and for your feedback - I really appreciate it! If/when I get a PCR in I would be happy to do a table top on the two pistols. Thanks again for watching, commenting and subbing!
I use the larger back strap with the small mag sleeve with my xds. Keeps the mag from hitting my hand when I drop the empty mag for a fast reload. Really like the xds with the short mag and two long mags for back up. Very easy to conceal.
Very informative and positive takes for both pistols are great in helping decide one or the other. Thanks for the video and keep them coming. I'm a new subscriber and Springfield XDS and XDM fan/owner.
I really like your comparison review of the XDE and XDS pistols - great technical detail. I am evaluating the XDE for CC against a few other DA/SA pistols. Your review is very helpful, and I appreciate the quality of your review. Many thanks.
This was a very good comparison of the 2 pistols. I own a XDS 9mm and a XDS 45 caliber. I have debated on the XDE. I have not own a hammer pistol semi-auto in over 40 years and might go back to one. This video gives me a lot to think about.
Excellent review. I recently picked up an XDS and have no need or desire to switch. Absolutely a positive gun to shoot. The differences being minor I prefer the slightly smaller and lighter size of the XDS. Just liked and subbed.
Excellent presentation. I like your format, straight to the detail with very little if any bias. Great review!! I own the XDS which fits like a glove in my hand with the larger back strap which is what sold me. I still like and I'am not going to get rid of it since demand has dropped due to Springfield's conspiracy and betrayal of the 2nd Amendment. In fact I feel sorry for Croatia, they make good guns. They need to find another US partner. As for Ruger, he was trying to mediate and avoid an outright BAN!! NOT for his companies personal interest. I know for some that is splitting hairs but to me a big difference.
With hammer fired , if a round doesn't go off , you can pull the trigger again and maybe you won't have to rack the slide , and you missed the easy action slide also , and what s with the moronic haters , Springfield didn't change a existing weapon , they created a variant ,amazing , almost as bad as the Glock fan boys , we've got more nuts than Planters peanuts
William Beck some companies do have sa/da in striker fire as well. I have the xds and a taurus pt111 g2, both striker fire but the taurus is sa/da and can put multiple strikes on the same round if you wanted.
I'm a M&P guy all the way. I have 4 of em. It came time to make a decision on the sheild or XDE...... Today I choose the XDE, that double single action with De cocker.....sold me. I'll shoot it tomorrow.
Thanks for the video its a great comparison.. only tip i would suggest is to flip the guns over to the other side when showing trigger pull and reset.. its quite hard to see with your finger in the way.. thanks again!!!
Thank you so much for this video. It’s very helpful. I own an XDE and now I just learn some new tricks. Thank you 😊 thank you 😊. I just subscribed to your channel
Shopped both, the XDe seemed huge in comparison to the XDs. I was leaning towards the double action before handling both. In the end the XDe was just to large for my needs.
I carry appendix and would never consider a striker to be safe enough to be carried in that way. My EDC used to be a Beretta 92FS but when the XDe came out in barrel length 3.8 I switched to it and have been very happy with the results...
Two things I would add. The XDS is famous for how thin it is. The XDE while larger in length and height is nearly as thin as the XDS. Second, the XDE slide is designed to be very easy to rack, similar to the S&W EZ line. This allows the XDE to compete with the S&W as well as the Walther CCP.
High Chris, Just a heads up here. If you're going to show trigger travel, we could see it much better with your finger on the other side of the gun, so the clear trigger guard becomes the frame of that picture of the trigger. Very nice video!! Liked & Subscribed
I have had the XDe since it debuted a few years ago. They didn't have a holster for them at the time (the blackhawk type as I used with my G19) so I was just carrying the XDe bare Inside Waste Band. By time there was a holster available I had gotten used to just tucking IWB and it is perfectly comfortable for the most part. I only use a holster now if I go to a range or ride my mountain bike.
MY only problem with the XD-E... it is not the most comfortable trigger design compared to many other handguns when you first start firing the gun. . The length and curve takes a bit of range time to become accustomed to. I have no complaint with the pull weight, take up and reset length of the trigger. The slightly larger size and a couple of ounces heavier than the XD-S is worth it to me to have the hammer fired and decocker features. My EDC firearm has been a Kahr CM9 , truly a great firearm, but now it might take a backseat to my XD-E.
The XDs has had 2 promotions giving a range bag & 4 magazines with the purchase of the firearm. 2- seven round mags & 1 eight round Mag and 1 nine round of Mag. I have all 4 mags. And $349 fo the whole package. ALSO, the trigger is vastly improved wth a Powder River Trigger (after market) new springs alone or a kit with a new sear as well. Totally worth it.
Walter Palmer thanks for the heads up. Have actually been considering the xds just cause. Thats a lot of gear. Although i like the mod2 style grips like on my xds mod2 9mm double stack 4inch barrel. I need to go to the store and try it out itz just the grip on the xds seems so aggressive. Am I wrong?
Just got rid of my wifes XD'S in favor of the improved effort to rack the XDE. She did have problems with the XDS, fine with the XDE. Trigger in single action (XDE) feels much better than the XDS right out of the box. Now, a couple of things not mentioned. Frame on the XDE must be slightly taller than the XDS. She always seemed to have her thumb riding on the slide. On the XDE, her thumb is close but never touching the slide. About the only thing she needs to do is adjust to the slightly longer trigger guard. She used to wrap her off hand index finger around the guard on the XDS, now she needs to get a longer index finger or adjust her grip. Maybe it's just her, maybe just luck, but right from the start she is shooting MUCH tighter groups with the XDE than she ever shot with the XDS at the same 10 yards. I can see my ammo budget is going to go way up now that she is getting a lot of bulls eyes!
Very great video well done I wonder if the VIRIDIAN LASER coming with the XDE in January 2018 is the kind that turns on as soon as you draw the gun. I wanted the XDs but now idk. Great job
I would like to see the XDS get an update to a grip zone variant. I own an XMod 2 in both 3" and 4" barrel lengths and the grip is fantastic. Of course both are double stack, so a single stack XDS version for those times you need less print or more comfort.
Very informative Review! I'm just South of you in Columbus Indiana. Your High School football team barely beat our Columbus East team in the State Championship last year. Lol. Our team won it in 2013. Lol. .....I would have never bought a Springfield if they had not developed the XDe. I now own 4 pistols and they are all DA/SA. Per million pistols sold... the XDe would no doubt in mind, have less accidental or negligent discharges than XDs. That's why IOnly carry DA/SA pistols. They are as safe as a revolver and they are less likely to be accidentally fired in a pressure situation when drawing from a holster. I don't believe a 4 year old child could pull the trigger Bach far enough to fire it in Double Action.and I'm certain that they CAN pull a Striker Fire Trigger. .. especially the way the trigger is so far forward on my XDe. I use the decocker but I never engage the safety because that trigger is my safety and that's how I carry. I will never catty my XDe Cocked and locked. The XDe is quite simply a safer pistol to own than the XDs and every other striker Fire Pistol made.
Hey thanks for commenting! unfortunatly, I did not go to Westfield highschool so I am not too familiar with their football prgram... But I am glad Westfield won :-P lol. Thanks for the feedback on your ownership experience. I definitely agree... There are definite advantages to a da/sa firearm and safety is one of them! Thanks again for watching and commenting!
I have Xde9,didnt like the grip zone. So I bought a packmyer palm swell(rubber band basically) & packmyer magazine finger grips for the xds and it works on the xde. Its comfortable now, about 150 rounds through it, 5 kinds of ammo no issues. It does have some slight striker drag tho.
just getting into shooting and carrying. Just don't like the blade style trigger safeties. Tried a Hellcat, a Taurus G3, even a CZ P10. I prefer the a smooth trigger surface, Currently carrying a Sig P365XL, But I'm also now leaning toward the Da/Sa Hammer pistols. Just bought the XDE 3.8 in 9mm, Also using a Sig SP2022 for home defense. Thanks for the review.
I wish they kept the same handle grip design, I never liked the grip safety and happy it's not part of this pistols design, I suppose grips are available for this model,,, TY for a great run through,, very thorough,,,
I was hoping you would mention something about the xd e being easier to rack the slide per manufacturers claim and why it is if you know that. At 70 yrs old my grip is not what it used to be. I have an xds-40 that is difficult for me to rack and am considering swapping it for the xd e even though it's a smaller caliber. Otherwise great video.
ted thomas thanks for watching and for commenting! The XDE is easier to rack. I don't know the exact weight difference, but it is definitely noticeable. My guess is that you are not having to compress a striker spring on the xde, but that is just my guess. Thanks again for watching!
We have the XDE and the XD Mod2 subcompact. To be honest, neither my wife or I can tell the if there’s difference when racking a round. However, the XDE in SA mode has a significant different trigger feel.
ted thomas I just bought the XDE because the slide was so easy for me to handle. Also the balance was superior to all other guns that I shot or handled. I am nearly 70 as,well and have nerve damage due to surgery. It's a great gun.
The thing is, why did they put the hammer that far back? If they wouldve took about an inch off the back of that slide, (and of course they would then need to put a beaver tail to prevent slide bite), it would be alot less ugly machine. I love the little thing, Ive got a thing for sa/da hammer fired mag fed pistols, but, it would be much better if the slide didnt come so far back, thanks for the review, take care
Negative palm swell sucks on any firearm. The grip is not even flat. I was going to buy one but with -palm swell (concave) Just like a Ruger LC9s that I do own. There is a hollow in the palm area that gives an unsecure hollow feeling grip. The grip is molded and not replaceable. You have to put some thin rubber weather stripping or fuzzy sided Velcro to help fill the palm. You have to worry about is coming loose or peeling off.But it does feel 100% better that way.The main thing going for it is the Safety Decocker.
If you take of this sleve here (but it is off camera, so it is hard to tell just what you did to make the fit. I wish you had put the one on top of the other & side by side so size could be accurately seen.
I still have yet to shoot the xds I have shot the xd-9, xdm-9 4.5, haven't shot the xds9 yet it looks pretty small though but im in it for the trigger that's the main reason im buying it cause so far the 2 springfields ive owned actually no I take that back ive owned 3,and a 1911 .45 milspec model also and all 3 triggers have been so nice to me, the trigger is much more better in springfields then a glock trigger on glocks is. I thought id never like springfield but id rsther take one over a glock, now you put a springfield trigger in a glock system now then were talking.
If I were from another planet, without knowing the history of both models, side by side I would think the xds is the newer of the two. It just seems so much more defined. The xde looks like it was a prototype.
I bought the XDE because it’s hammer-fired and not striker-fired. I coulda cared less about looks but if I say so myself, I think the XDE looks pretty sexy. They both do, but that redundant trigger safety messes up its looks.
Being a retired US Army Infantryman I will NEVER carry a weapon where I cannot see where the hammer is at all time. I have an XDe in .45ACP and carry it every day and love it.
Can the manual safety be put ON with the hammer down, locking it in place? Also, is there the option of an ambidextrous safety or is this just a right handed safety?
I don't understand why the XD "E" was made with no grip safety. That's one of the only features that made the XD unique from the rest of the Poly guns on the market.
My only guess is that being in double action, it has a 12lb trigger... So they may have assumed that most shooters would feel comfortable carrying with a chambered round in double action. But you're right, the frame safety is a nice feature on the XDS. Thanks for watching!
The grip safety is just a secondary precaution to prevent and accidental/negligent discharges if the internal safety was to ever fail that's common place with striker fired, no external safety, pistols. Which is why i don't like Glocks. I would NEVER carry a glock in the appendix carry. If you were to ever get a Friday-gun and that bitch were to malfunction you'd blow out your balls off or your femoral artery and bleed like a faucet. No need to have an extra precaution that can inhibit you with hammer fired external safety guns. They have an insane double action trigger pull which is very safe and impossible to go off if the hammer is down (as long as there's no crap in your holster that could get snagged on the trigger). The added benefit is that you don't even need to carry with the safety on if you don't want to. Saves you that fraction of a second and lthough the 1st round will be less accurate, since it has a heavy DA pull, all the following shots will actually be lighter lighter pulls than striker fired guns since they'll all be single action when the hammer is automatically reset by the slide racking
Impressive side by side comparison. Every bit as good as the other major gun channels. I didn't hear pricing. Did I miss it or was it not part of the review?
Great video. Just purchased XDe 9mm. The mag release button is firm with no mag inserted, but with a mag inserted, it does have passive play side to side just flipping gun over side to side. Does not effect release tension, but is annoying as it makes audible clicking as it moves side to side. Is this common on the XDe? Have you noticed this on yours?
really disabling something that's MANUEL. UHHHH common sense if you don't want to use it then don't flip it up I mean really....how do someone you people make it thru life
How did you find the XDE trigger position feels in reference to using in in DA mode? It looks & feels too far forward in the trigger guard for my preference. The firearm feels a tad bit top heavy. Having not fired the gun myself yet, how is the mussel flip in your opinion? The barrel looks higher mounted on the polymer base...just saying...hence there's room for another round of mag ammo. Plus the 25oz. weight is getting up there then add the weight of the full magazine.
Tt Ss lol oh yes they do. The XDM is a total redesign of the orginal XD. The XDM has interchangeable back straps and much more aggressive serrations on the slide and grip compared to the XD. Thats a big difference. I own an XDM 4.5in and an XDS 3.3in one is a double stack and one is a single stack. Thats a big difference. Mod. 2 models (including the xds mod 2 that came out after i posted this comment) are the only models with the Grip Zones on the grips. Thats a big difference.
I have both. Mags are the same, just the removable sleeve on the bottom is different. Take the sleeve off of a 8 rnd xds mag and it fits perfect in the xde. 8 rnd is the smallest that will fit in the xde so the 7 rnd will only work in the xds.
It's actually pretty nice for a factory trigger on a polymer framed pistol. It was up there with the CZ RAMI, P-07, and PX4 Storm I handled in the same trip to the gun store. Of course, they're all heavy in double action, but that's on purpose.
Great comparison vid. Couldn't go wrong with either one, but personally I prefer a loaded chamber, decocked, DA 1st shot over a striker fire pistol. Thank you for a great look at both of these models👍
ugh i know this is from 3 years ago but this is the exact video i needed 😂
I’ve got to say this was one of the best gun reviews I’ve seen so far. You covered so much information quickly and no beating around the bush. Good quality video and sound. Great job and I’m subscribing to your page today.

Thank you, watching this 2 years later and you helped me make a choice. Great video and appreciate the non bias.
Excellent review, just purchased a XDE as my first pistol and will be picking up next week.
How do you like it Freddy?
Nice i jus purchased the XDS an love it
i Just picked one up a xde45 aswell for conceal carry and i prefer to have this in my pants than that heavy 1911. I love it.

Just the facts, no silly commentary. Great review and many could learn from your style.

Couldn't agree more with JR. It was also comprehensive without being superfluous. Nice work sir and much appreciated!
I conceal carry a Ruger 1911, but that's why I'm watching your videos at the moment. I want to go to a XD for comfortability
I really like your comparison review of the XDE and XDS pistols - great technical detail. I am evaluating the XDE for CC against a few other DA/SA pistols. Your review is very helpful, and I appreciate the quality of your review. Many thanks.
Thanks for watching and for the feedback - I am happy it helped!
Nice review! Hey neighbor! I'm from kokomo. Been eyeballing that xd-e since it came out. Thanks for making my decision easier
I had an XDE for a year and can find no faults. It is one of my two carry pistols. The other is a Beretta 92 compact.
I also have a 92 compact, Love it..I'm a huge Baretta fan...and Springfield is a very close second
This was a very good comparison of the 2 pistols. I own a XDS 9mm and a XDS 45 caliber. I have debated on the XDE. I have not own a hammer pistol semi-auto in over 40 years and might go back to one. This video gives me a lot to think about.

As a woman, I love my Xtreme Duty's and my Rugers!
Best review I've seen
Thanks for the great video! Very informative! I ended up going with the XDE
Me too!
I'm a M&P guy all the way.
I have 4 of em. It came time to make a decision on the sheild or XDE......
Today I choose the XDE, that double single action with De cocker.....sold me.
I'll shoot it tomorrow.
Well brother, how did it go yesterday?😅😅 Is it a keeper?
I switched from the XDS to the XDE. I grew up with revolvers and 1911s so I prefer the XDE. The XDS is still a good firearm though.
I hate the trigger on the xde personally.
Excellent review and comparison. I have the XDs in .45 but might have to get the XDE. thanks.
Excellent video tutorial, right to the point and every informative, thank you!

XDE is a great gun! Shoots fantastic, feels good in the hand and with the promo you can't beat it.
I am looking forward to getting a chance to shoot the xde. It does feel very nice in the hand.
chris settles I love my XD-E!
Jamez I want a double stack
Great review. Thank you for taking the time.
No problem - thanks for watching!
I like my XDE .45 I gave my XDS .45 to my Son loved both of them but I like to carry cocked and locked .
just getting into shooting and carrying.
My striker fired xdm doesn't require a trigger pull to disassemble.
Awesome video sir! I love my xds! Now i kinda want the xde its has more ammo rounds!
I wish they kept the same handle grip design, I never liked the grip safety and happy it's not part of this pistols design, I suppose grips are available for this model,,, TY for a great run through,, very thorough,,,
Great video! I'm trying to decide between both of those Springfields & a glock 43
That's precisely why I traded my XDs 45. I also prefer hammer fired DA/SA pistols. I put XO 24/7 Big Dot sights on my XDe and my H&K P30SK-S.
We have the XDE and the XD Mod2 subcompact. To be honest, neither my wife or I can tell the if there’s difference when racking a round. However, the XDE in SA mode has a significant different trigger feel.
ted thomas
I just bought the XDE because the slide was so easy for me to handle. Also the balance was superior to all other guns that I shot or handled. I am nearly 70 as,well and have nerve damage due to surgery. It's a great gun.
The manufacturer says the slide is 27% easier to slide than competitive models. That’s pretty significant.
Slide thickness?
Does the xde by chance have a aftermarket longer barrel?
Very thorough review, thanks.
I thought id never like springfield but id rsther take one over a glock, now you put a springfield trigger in a glock system now then were talking.
unless I missed it, he never specified whether these guns are the .9mm or .45
I really like hammer fired guns so I would take the xde
Me too. And I like that decocker.
I wish the xd mod2 had a external hammer option. The xde just isnt for me. I want a double stack mag and I also want the grip safety
What is the best wam to carry the xds mod2 fully loaded. Since it has no safety to set
Great video and information. Next video use your right hand to show the reset trigger movement. Your left hand blocks the view.
If I were from another planet, without knowing the history of both models, side by side I would think the xds is the newer of the two. It just seems so much more defined. The xde looks like it was a prototype.
javelinablanco I agree, really like the idea of the xde, but its fugly
I bought the XDE because it’s hammer-fired and not striker-fired. I coulda cared less about looks but if I say so myself, I think the XDE looks pretty sexy. They both do, but that redundant trigger safety messes up its looks.
Good review, thanks. Anyone know how well they differentiate on the range in terms of shoot-ability ?
Being a retired US Army Infantryman I will NEVER carry a weapon where I cannot see where the hammer is at all time. I have an XDe in .45ACP and carry it every day and love it.
For my first gun, I ended up getting the XDE. I hope that I like it and made a good choice
Where did you find one at?
@@johnwest5008 I went to this place called Academy sports where I live.
@@abciluvme oh ok thank you.
Where do you grip it though? 🤔
What did they do, I have not heard anything?
Can the manual safety be put ON with the hammer down, locking it in place? Also, is there the option of an ambidextrous safety or is this just a right handed safety?
Michele Beard I think I saw in another video that the safety can be on with the hammer decocked. The gun comes standard with an Ambi safety/ decocker.
Will the XDS 9mm, 11rd mag fit into my XDE-9? Or is there another single stack EXTENDED mag that'll fit my xde?
Fantastic comparison !
Note: There is a difference between the "hammer down" and the hammer in "decocked mode." You do not want the hammer down on a loaded chamber.
you are apparently stuck in the 1911 era. SIG solved this problem 40 years ago. This has a firing pin block in it.
These guns use transfer bars.
Hopefully if this sells well, it will convince FN to get off its ass and make an FNX compact.
Saves you that fraction of a second and lthough the 1st round will be less accurate, since it has a heavy DA pull, all the following shots will actually be lighter lighter pulls than striker fired guns since they'll all be single action when the hammer is automatically reset by the slide racking
pretty obvious hammer fired has the safety on the side no need for 3 safeties and if you need that many maybe you shouldn't be carrying a weapon
Impressive side by side comparison. Every bit as good as the other major gun channels.
I didn't hear pricing. Did I miss it or was it not part of the review?
bengalblitz thanks for the feedback! I don't think I mentioned pricing but both can be found for about $400-$500 depending on your area.
My XDE 45 came with a 6 round and 7 round magazine
This was such a good review. Love the xde and mod2. Have you seen the xde with the laser coming out?
Great video. Just purchased XDe 9mm. The mag release button is firm with no mag inserted, but with a mag inserted, it does have passive play side to side just flipping gun over side to side. Does not effect release tension, but is annoying as it makes audible clicking as it moves side to side. Is this common on the XDe? Have you noticed this on yours?
Is it possible to change the XDE to a type g? Basically disabling the manual safety but keeping the decocker?
Dresgeve I just dislike them. Simple as that.
really disabling something that's MANUEL. UHHHH common sense if you don't want to use it then don't flip it up I mean really....how do someone you people make it thru life
Can the manual thumb safety be engaged while in double action?
why couldn't it be
when he's talking about size and weight and I plan on this being a back up to a sp101
XDs is 23 oz.
Will the grip ext on the xde fit on the xds magazine
I was excited for this. But I'd rather have the XDS
What do you think of the original(XD-Series)pistols,they are(in my area)$100-125 Cheaper than Those two and the Glock?
How can we tell the difference of XD, XDM, XDS? Or if its the 2.0 model?
Leona Reyna they all look different for one lol. Not trying to be disrespectful. Just google them.
XD-M will have an M on it. Same with the XD-S, and I believe the Mod.2s say Mod.2 on the slide, and Grip Zone on the grip.
@@mauricecooper9016 not really
Tt Ss lol oh yes they do. The XDM is a total redesign of the orginal XD. The XDM has interchangeable back straps and much more aggressive serrations on the slide and grip compared to the XD. Thats a big difference. I own an XDM 4.5in and an XDS 3.3in one is a double stack and one is a single stack. Thats a big difference. Mod. 2 models (including the xds mod 2 that came out after i posted this comment) are the only models with the Grip Zones on the grips. Thats a big difference.
Are the mags compatable
No. Like the xds ones wont fit in the xde ones. But i think xde ones do fit in xds ones. But i KNOW the xde cant accept xds mags
I have both. Mags are the same, just the removable sleeve on the bottom is different. Take the sleeve off of a 8 rnd xds mag and it fits perfect in the xde. 8 rnd is the smallest that will fit in the xde so the 7 rnd will only work in the xds.
The trigger on the xde looks very spongy per this video. True statement or no?
It's actually pretty nice for a factory trigger on a polymer framed pistol. It was up there with the CZ RAMI, P-07, and PX4 Storm I handled in the same trip to the gun store. Of course, they're all heavy in double action, but that's on purpose.
I have one, shoots very well, very comfortable trigger. I shoot better groups with it than I did with my FNX 40 with a 4 inch barrel.
Appreciate your efforts here. Excellent presentation. Thank you Sir.
I like the XDe, but I like the grip better on the XDs.
I bought the XDE, but I tell ya - the Mod 2 XDS is a SWEET pistol!
Enjoyed this review. Subbed.
I have an xde45 and love it
Somehow I must have missed it? but you don't say at start if you are reviewing a 9 mm or the .45 ACP
At the time of the filming of this video, the XDE was only offered in 9mm - that's why it slipped my mind to mention the caliber. Thanks for watching!
Geezle Puss I assumed the 45...was I incorrect??
Chris, I was wondering which pistol has a shorter length of pull?
In terms of LOP, I would say the XDE on SA is the shortest, followed by the XDS followed by the XDE on DA. Hope that helps!
