Well, if some of the existing Great Hyperspace War assets were eventually expanded on into a GC, I suppose that would qualify as "spanning millennia". But I assume that would be ages, AGES off, after TOR content even, which is a huge slew of new models on it's own. However I do think they could be connected in the same way that the current FotR historical campaigns are connected. In that you start a new campaign, but certain elements carry over based on your progress with meeting particular objectives in the previous campaign. For example say you win as the Mandalorians in their campaign, so if you go forward into a Jedi Civil War campaign you actually start out with a tripartite war between the three factions. Or in the weirder AU possibilities connecting Kotor and TOR, say you win a Sith campaign with Dark Side Revan, maybe you get an early invasion of the Sith Empire and actually get to do Sith vs Sith. Or you win Dark Wars as the Triumvirate, and can fight the Empire later with Nihilus and Mr Sleeps-With-Vibroblades still around. I don't know, it could be taken in a bunch of directions.
I just have to reiterate how much I love the Hammerhead and Foray class ships in this mod. They're two of my favorite Star Wars ships from the whole franchise, and they're so beautifully made by you guys.

In the "Star Wars The Essential Atlas" book it mentions and shows many maps of sectors like: the Senex and Juvex Worlds, Hoth and the Greater Javin, Yavin and The Gordian Reach ect ect. Would you and the team consider doing these small 'Sector' maps for faster/shorter gameplay and where the smaller ships corvette/Light Frigates/Heavy Frigates would see a lot more play. Thank you for all of Your's and the Team's hard work over the years and I wish you all the Best!
Sector maps would be pretty small on the scale of the whole galaxy, however oversectors and other regions have some GCs associated with them, called Regionals. For instance the Borderlands GC in Thrawn's Revenge roughly Corresponds to the Perlimian run and the various worlds around Tionese space, and in FotR GCs like Rimward Campaign or the Foerost Campaign as historicals tend to focus on a specific region.
I don't expect it by any means, but I'd kind of like to see an EaWX interpretation of the Omen/Harbinger-type of Sith dreadnought from the Naga Sadow period.
Will there be super weapons available? I know you mentioned the Star Forge, but would a Mass Shadow Generator be in the cards? Thanks for all your hard work! Your content and mods are top tier!

I feel like it could be interesting if the Sith had a command staff as well, but it was split between military and Sith. I don't know how big Sith roster will be or if that's feasible, but that was my thought.
I kind of hope the Sith will be split into multiple factions as well ala the Imperial Warlords in Thrawn's Revenge. It seems weird having all the Sith Lords in a single faction.

I wonder if you could add in Krath ships for the Sith since Freedon Nadd had them in his armies. There's quite a lot of source material to choose from, I think. Not to mention, you also have Infinite Empire stuff that Revan definitely used.
Hey @Corey_Loses, I am wondering how you guys will tackle some of the Character's Force Alignment throughout the mods. For example, Revan will start out Light Sided and a Jedi but does he switch side based on fixed events/timeline or will he only switch based on player choice? On that note if character changes Force Alignment, do they defect to the Sith Faction/Republic?
What would you say are the differences in the feeling, strategy and style between Revan era and later eras? Is there a noticable difference in tactics, types of units and their importance on the battlefield etc.?
Wow I'm so impressed Corey, this looks much more fleshed out than I would have thought. I love the inclusion of the Ebon Hawk and main characters, Kotor is such an underserved IP and thematically is perfect for modded EaW, take your time but I will be binging this on release. Also want to plug in the mod "Starwind" a hidden gem, of an overhaul mod for Morrowind that puts the open world in the KOTOR universe, with the plot running tangent to the main plot from the first game.
in terms of non playable side factions what is being considered? are hapes likely to be on the map, or corporate sector?. im sure the hutts will be present and maybe playable in far future?
The Corporate Sector doesn't make a lot of sense in this era since it was only even established as a free trade zone a few centuries before the Clone Wars, and wasn't actually a political entity until the Empire. Hapes though are technically around and it is already past the point where they threw off the Lorell Raiders so they could be an option. Hopefully we also see other smaller factions roughly aligned with the Sith like the Krath Remnants.
A possible story decision for the republic that could take place in the early mandalorian war. Is to accept the aid from the revanchist or petition the Jedi council for support, similar to how the era 1 imperial remnant can pick to support Isard or the central committee of grand moffs. Accepting the revanchist would give Revan, Malak and Meetra Surik whereas petitioning the Jedi council would give Kavar and maybe some other Jedi. In KOTOR 2 Canderous mentions that mandalore the ultimate thought that Kavar would lead the republic forces in the mandalorian wars. So it could be an interesting decision that provides different benefits or cons for both decision.

We don't be using the model from AoSW, but it's a design from the comics which we will cover eventually. We don't know to what extent the scope will be expanded.

I believe Corey's said that canon ships might be added if they're ready, but they won't go out of their way to add them for ICW and FOTR. Their upcoming GCW mod Imperial Reign will have canon galactic conquests, so I'd imagine that's when we'll start seeing more canon units.
Any update on Lictor class being added to Mandalorian fleet? Would make a really good frigate/cruiser and shows up Kotor comic being used by Mandos in the war

Out of curiosity, while I know it mean an absolute ton of extra work for you guys, have you thought about eventually doing a SW:TOR era mod? I imagine it would be even more work than Revan's Revenge due to the almost total absence of pre-designed capital starships involved (with every faction showing only 1-3 capital ship designs), but that would be the last great Legends time period that you haven't already covered with one of your mods.
Maybe a dummy like the one used for cruel ai and fhr clones skin, canon units in .3 it would have to mean making story events work with both but it would just be spawning a unit with those dummies
Yeah for everything they'd be involved in, making a second unit/company/dialogue and switching between them in all situations that would require would be fairly complicated considering it's not a thing EaW was built to do natively.

Mostly cus the Eternal Empire's main fleet was decommissioned relatively shortly before KOTFE, leaving only 4 different ships by the time they're involved in the story. So there'd be more ships to model if they showed up in the KOTOR gcs)
Bro at this point just port the game to Unreal or Unity already since you're one of the few OG modding legends still around who can do it. Forcew knows the Alamo engine has been stretched to the ends of the universe
Remaking the game on another engine would be a year-long initiative requiring a very different skillset than what we have. And at the end of those years we'd then not legally be able to release it anyways.

We have no plans to make this mod span millenia. We may cover the TOR period eventually, but that would be a distinct set of GCs.

Bane's era has even less content then Kotor/TOR. They'd need to make up almost everything.

You should add a mechanic where Revan can be attained by Sith or Jedi by an story event.
Revan will be available to both the Republic and Sith at different times, including things that will make him switch sides.

Hey Corey! I love FOTR, but all of my saves when I try to load into them crash the game. I’m not exactly sure why! It has happened 4 times now.
Turn of steam cloud sync if you have it on, and only save on the galactic level, never tactical

I'm pretty sure the TOR era/period is going to be in RR as a separate GC
TOR has so many prototypes / special weapons / variant designs that it can probably make up for its lack of unique in-game designs.
