i scoured the internet looking to find out what product to use to fill in the cracks on my block home. man its just latex caulk, but i couldnt find that out anywhere until i watched your video. thanks for including the tools and products you used!
WoW! All the prep work involved and explained very well! I could imagine what some homeowners would think if they came home during the prep tho...LOL! The only thing that would scare me more is the AC units on the roof, don't like that at all. Great job on prep and paint. Fortunately, I'm only needing to do the bottom portion of my house otherwise, I'd be calling you guys!
Thank you for this amazing video.Just what i was looking for.I learned new techniques, which i will apply soon.Thank you again.Fantastic detailed video.
NIce painting job. Too bad the utilities detract from the house. A/C units on the roof, gas, electric and water pipes sticking out everywhere! Some cosmetic work would definitely improve the look fo the house.
If you are repainting a block home would you still use a sealer? My moms house has been over 30 years without a painting and if always feels damp inside. Any recommendation?
if the current paint is in good condition would not use the sealer. i could be wrong but i don't think that exterior paint has anything to do with how it feels inside.
We use this tape for all exteriors and it works great. Gives 3 day clean removal even during the summer. www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Scotch-1-41-in-x-60-1-yds-Green-Masking-Tape-for-Hard-to-Stick-Surfaces-2060-36A/206298155
Excellent reply! I'll definitely be trying it soon on a stucco house where I've had issues with other masking tapes. Blue tape is garbage for that and normal tape works, not great, and also leaves glue on sides that get a lot of sunshine.
tinyurl.com/413tip We are using 4/13 flat tip most of the time and we used it on this house as well. (On the picture is 4/15. I could not find good picture with 4/13. ) To eliminate the lines we are using brand new tip on each job. Flat tips are very cheap. (about $3 a piece.) You can also try using smaller size tip than you currently using with higher pressure.

Looks great! Same steps for concrete block walls?
Thank you. Yes, same steps for concrete block walls.
Good work u guys
Excellent prep 👍😊
Good color but maybe the trim could have been in a dark brown for contrast but that probably wasn’t your choice.
Very nice as always!

Why no use tinted primer and one coat paint 🤔
What would be the benefit of using a primer for surface that has been painted before?
Nice job..is that Latex paint?
yes
Yall do some nice work . You have a flat tip set up ? What kind of gun do you use?
yes flat tip. gun came with sprayer Graco Ultra Max II 490.
How long do you wait for concrete patch to cure before painting?
cement mix me are using in this this video is rapid set and can be painted in 1-4 hours depending on weather.
Is that Scotch green masking tape you're using? I'll have to give that a try.

Ugly color, but that's what the customer wanted. Otherwise, nice job.
