@7:35 “Eat that! Eat one of these! Maybe one of those!? Aaaaah nice little kick-ski to finish em off! Hell yeah!” Bro the commentary is the second to the skills my dude. Love it.
Oh the explosive thrower is a surprisingly excellent choice for replicating the general magazine's assymmetry. I was seriously thinking you couldn't get something more appropriate than double huxley out of this recreation to mimic Shatter's exceed orbits, yet you gone and proved me wrong. Very on brand for shatter's explosive aggression, also with how it looks more like the original left arm grenade rifle when active, while the iridium is better for mimicking the function. A couple of personal highlights from this one: 5:06 Really doing the Spite name justice with a comeback like that. Low AP? Doesn't matter, just keep hammering those explosives from close range. 9:40 All the amount of mirroring approaches going on in close quarters here is amazing and makes for a nice and tense head-to-head with the health bars too. 25:47 A favorite moment in the garage too this time, because, while that is simply the result of mimicking the original leg pattern of the shins onto these more rounded ones, the effect is something that looks strikingly much like a dragon's underside plating without looking out of place. As much as I am still impressed by how much you get out of the basic square decals, I did not expect to find myself taking notes over any singular application of them like this.
@@remor698 Yeah I'm pretty happy with how the back units came together 😁. Going close quarters with this build feels great so I was happy to have plenty of those moments haha! You're right about the leg patterns! I hadn't even realized that about it looking draconic, I totally see it.

@@fridegost I really appreciate you watching,😁 and thanks! I like that you guys get to look back into the past games with these videos. There are so many sick looking ACs in the old games.
YO!!! Beautiful rendition of a classic AC!!! I thought you put the huxley on to resemble the "shell EO" on the original core, but it sounds like you just liked the shape lolol - Either way, it worked out great!
@@TheRoyalSkies Lmao I forgot about his EO. At least I think I did. I first put this build together right before the last tournament so I can't remember if that was actually one of the reasons I used the huxley 😂. Either way, it works out perfect lol!
Wonderful job cleaning up the second match there, oscillator with shotguns is super scary because you can do a bunch of weird combo extension shenanigans for a ton of damage
damn man you keep just sending them outta the park with the gen 3 builds. SPITE def was a nasty build especially with the dual zooka loadout and OP-INTENSIFY
Its ironic that given Shatter's background, he teams with Zero in the extra arena. He didnt even try to do a plot twist when i fought the two, which couldve been the chance of a lifetime.
I tried it, but pile bunker was too inconsistent for my tastes after testing. Explosive thrower fit the theme of Rusty having a close range punish option better and allowed more opportunities for mixups.
oh man I remember this ac. same experience with you, I got stomp lol. no op intensify, just change a lot of part and frame because of this one guy and I already had a lot of experience with armored core nexus.
That weird vertical push at 12:53 saved you. The first pulse blade swipe did about 2400, and you ended with about 2000 AP. The vertical movement kept you from eating the second hit. Fromsoft giveth, Fromsoft taketh away
Man, this game really does hate lightweights. Why does the Iridium, the lore-specific LW 'nade launcher, stance you for so long? The Dizzy doesn't take as long to fire.
@@ThryfeHow about making the recoil stat mean a little more? Guns that push past a certain recoil on a given frame stances that build. Under that number, no stance. I know the Ransetsu is already kinda godlike but stancing for charged burstfire? That's lame.
@@Schpoonman That would be pretty interesting. Old gen had something like that in a way.
