In this video I show you how to install a Flow Rite AKA SeaLok Controls MPA-RDP-010 Remote Drain Plug on my 2014 TZX 190 Skeeter Bass Boat. If you use my custom 100% made in the USA corner bracket you will not have to drill a big 1.75 inch hole in your fiberglass AND you can keep the switch away from kids or inadvertent opening! I'll go through all the tools you need and each step of the process. Super easy upgrade you can make to your boat!

To prevent gellcoat from cracking, use a counter sink bit after your first hole drilled. This also will help prevent spyder cracks.
Thanks for the tip! Worked great.
Run the bit in reverse first to prevent the gelcoat from cracking. Also use a bigger bit to recess the hole slightly and run the bit in reverse for this as well.
One tip… assemble everything on the drain plug side on the work bench, then feed the other end of the cable through the drain hole from the outside then secure to the transom.. that way your not doing everything on your head or on the ground underneath the motor…
Thank you for the video! Purchased your bracket and got mine installed today. I encourage anyone who wants a remote drain plug to go this route. Very simple and easy.
Thank you! If you don’t mind, please send pictures of your install to rocketcityoutdoors@gmail.com!!

@@rocketcityoutdoors did you send to Spain?
Cover the surface with blue painters tape first, then mark your holes, now you can drill the same slow way you did in the video.
Place tape on the fiberglass prior to drilling your hole.
Drill in reverse for a little ways then go in forwards
Are you the guy that has an eBay store? If so, we live very close and I need to pick your brain.

Where do you live?
I’m in meredianville, I want one of your battery’s on/off brackets and was wondering if I could just pick it up?
Also, do you fabricate delete plates for the bow?
