It SNOWED, Evacuated from a Ride & Winterfest Lights Trail! First Christmas Season in Pigeon Forge

- Join us for our first holiday season in Pigeon Forge, TN, where we finally get to experience the festive magic of this beautiful mountain town during Christmas time! On our very first night, we were delighted to see the first falling snow of the season (a rare treat) and I captured the magic to share with you. We also explored the wonderful Pigeon Forge Winterfest lights and displays, and took in the festive atmosphere of The Island, where we stayed. We tried a new breakfast spot, got evacuated from the Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride and got to walk through with the lights on, an experience that made our whole day. We also rode the Smoky Mountain Wheel for breathtaking views of snow-covered mountains. The cold winter weather made the trip feel extra special as we cozied up by the fireplace in our hotel room, took the Winterfest Wonders of Light Walking Trail, and saw the 12 days of Christmas lights on the Parkway. And of course, we watched the Winterfest Fountain Show at The Island, enjoying the day and night displays. It was a magical first holiday season in Pigeon Forge, and we’re so excited to share these moments with you! I am in a cabin in Pigeon forge now. The snow has been coming down for a few hours. There is about an inch or 2. Cannot see more than a couple hundred feet it's coming down so hard. Guess I have to hunker down and enjoy the rest of your pigeon forge videos! I am doing the Winterfest walk tonight so this video is perfect! I'm so happy you got to see snow and enjoyed the cold. This is awesome. We want to run a cabin next year. There are so many to choose from though lol. The fact that you got snow is incredible. I don’t think it snows much there, especially in December.

When I see how excited you are with seeing the snow come down, watch videos of bear cubs and raccoon babies when they first see snow! That's what you reminded me of! Very cute ❤️

Your reaction to the snow was adorable! I live in southern Nevada, so we usually only see snow on the mountains. The Christmas light walk was amazing. The terms collie birds and calling birds are used interchangeably. A collie bird is usually a black bird. The calling birds are supposed to be a reference to Mathew Mark Luke and John. I'm not quite sure about that part, lol! Loved the video!

As someone who lives in a place where we get a lot of snow every year-it’s fun to see someone love it so much. I just usually get anxious when I see snow falling because I hate driving in it and having to shovel it all the time ❄️😕 Thanks for reminding me that it can be beautiful too 👍

Pigeon Forge looks awesome! Definitely a place I’d like to visit during the off season tho, crowds and traffic look pretty awful there.

That Pancake Pantry restaurant in the collection of stores in Gatlinburg looked pretty good❤ It looks to be near that donut place😋
We loved log cabin pancake house, that’s my fave breakfast in Gatlinburg. We’ll try the pantry next time, been wanting to! So far the 50s diner from our fall visit is my fave breakfast in pigeon forge!

What a wonderful day! Thank you for sharing! I'm sure it was snowing heavier than it showed. As a Canadian I can attest that it can be really snowing hard but for some reason sometimes the camera just doesn't pick it up!
That Tennessee snow kind of looks like the spring snow here in Colorado. Not a fan of wet snow. Too heavy when it comes to scraping it off the car 🤣

They already have a regular Margaritaville restaurant a lemon bar which is connected to Myrtle Beach is own giant sky whale there is also a Lulu’s restaurant up the road in North Myrtle.❤❤❤❤you guys 😂😂 as always stay safe. I’m just as confused as u are 😂 but I think it’s more just on that track and the track has a bit of water over it. It’s not a free floating boat.
