Gotta say, I've lived here most of my life. Seeing within the first seconds of this video, The Old Mill's waterfall that's within 150 feet of my family's stores in Pigeon forge, warms my heart. I remember standing down at the dry patch under the tree and having photos taken from the bridge. I've worked on the Island, my dad painted a lot of the DreamMore Resort, I've even lived in Sevierville for many years and I gotta say, besides the literal millions of people worth of traffic every year, the place is lovely and peaceful. Even having wildfires burn up half the county years ago couldn't deter us. Best town I'll probably ever live in.

Great video! I love the European Americana vibe of this place and tribute to the Founders of this charming city. We’re visiting Gatlinburg in Sept and will def visit this area.
Holy crap! Two days in Pegeln Forge will cost you as much as a 7 day vacation at Disney World! And, it does not look as fun or magical. I could Ted up what would be attractions you’d have enough time to see each day. It would be about $300 per person not including a hotel. Plus, if you’ve ever been there you likely heard from locals, “Y’ain’t from roun heararya?” I love Folly but, I don’t love Sevierville.
I don't know, I live near Disney World, and I think when you add up everything, especially food, a Disney vacation will cost you more. They are two different types of entertainment.
