I was at the game and it was crazy 3 hours before the start. The entire area was prepping for weeks for that night. Its hard to explain how the entire region was focused on that team. Everywhere you went was all Seahawks all the time. When they went on the road fans lined the streets from the facility to the airport escorting the bus. Truly a great season for Seattle.
This game is the epitome of the LOB era. Perfect representation. Rabid fanbase at home in primetime, dominant defense and highly efficient offense. What a time for Hawks fans

Nah the 85 Bears are slightly overrated. They played in a lot easier era and played a easier schedule, with the #2 offense in the NFL. Not to mention being shredded twice by offenses that spread them out. They especially got shredded by Marino

But i can watch the 4th Q of that game on repeat the rest of my life haha

Playing at that level just mounted the injuries for LOB, which in turn made for tough business decisions in turn ended our short lived domination in the NFL. This year should of been when front office had to start the dismantle process. Easily could have appeared in 3 straight SB, and after the SB49 INT we would of won SB50 and at least 1or more. In the last 3 years as a unit. WE CAN DREAM!

This was the Seahawks year to shine. They had the right people at the right time and were almost unstoppable. And when they got to the superbowl they destroyed The Denver Bronks. And the way they played all those fouls they did that year didn't really matter. Wilson was doing great and was just amazing how he played for such a young QB.. The coach's seemed to have a great eye when they built this this team, the best players at the right time. We got to give a huge well done for Carrel and the rest of the coaching staff.... I really hope they can do this good in the 2020-21 series, heck, I hope we do have a game this year and it can go on and play and everyone stays healthy from the virus...
Saints fan here. This game stands out to me in a weird way. Just a normal regular season game. Yes we knew the challenge but I had so much hype and nerves going into this game, all for us to get ran thru. This was the night I realized the Seahawks were winning the Super Bowl.
There were actually a good group of Saints fans at this game and the 2010 Wildcard playoff game. Some were even talking some smack and it was funny. I said something smart-ass to one of them right before half and he responded "They got em right where they want em man, the 2nd half is all Brees and Graham". It was a good laugh but after getting that 3rd quarter TD off the tip the guy tapped me on the back and said "we are outta here man, I really hope that we don't have to come here for the playoffs" Sure enough, that guy was back in the same seat for the Divisional playoff. That time he said "Man.. I just want it to be close" but he did stay for the entire game 😂

KC broke that record with a countdown instructing the fans to scream in calculated fashion. Not saying Arrowhead isn’t a loud stadium and that they don’t deserve to be in that discussion. But I can tell you with confidence that on a regular basis (without record keepers there and countdowns, etc) Seattle is louder.

Dave Kraig fumbles the ball, picks it up runs around like a chicken with his head off and then throws a TD, I jumped on my brother, who was laying down, he tried to protect his balls and his knee goes right on my eye socket. Saints fan here. This game stands out to me in a weird way. Just a normal regular season game. Yes we knew the challenge but I had so much hype and nerves going into this game, all for us to get ran thru. This was the night I realized the Seahawks were winning the Super Bowl.
There were actually a good group of Saints fans at this game and the 2010 Wildcard playoff game. Some were even talking some smack and it was funny. I said something smart-ass to one of them right before half and he responded "They got em right where they want em man, the 2nd half is all Brees and Graham". It was a good laugh but after getting that 3rd quarter TD off the tip the guy tapped me on the back and said "we are outta here man, I really hope that we don't have to come here for the playoffs" Sure enough, that guy was back in the same seat for the Divisional playoff. That time he said "Man.. I just want it to be close" but he did stay for the entire game 😂
Oh how everyone hated Jimmy Graham that day, now he's one of our favorite players. That's football :)

@@syminite1 I agree...graham trade was mistake....when you have someone like graham, one year into a four year deal, being traded by the team that drafted him for what reason then ?/?? reason is he can't block which is a big deal for tight end, and what made graham 'good' was drew breeze throwing the ball to him...seattle never should have traded away a pro bowl offensive lineman/center.
And now I hate him again.
Here we are it’s October 13, 2021 and Russell Wilson is out hurt for the first time in his career and our current defense is the worst in the league. Watching this game makes me want to cry.

KC broke that record with a countdown instructing the fans to scream in calculated fashion. Not saying Arrowhead isn’t a loud stadium and that they don’t deserve to be in that discussion. But I can tell you with confidence that on a regular basis (without record keepers there and countdowns, etc) Seattle is louder.

if they didnt choke in the final 30 seconds against atlanta in 2012, i think they win the SB that year too. would have played SF in the NFC title game, and beat them 42-13 a few weeks before. i think that Seattle team beats Flacco and Baltimore. ifs and and buts though!

I’m so heartbroken because I don’t think I will ever see a team like this in my lifetime ever again. The NFL is so garbage nowadays it’s like the killer mentality has left. Going from having 15 hall of fame QBs in the league to having maybe 3 has also made a huge difference in the atmosphere. Just sad

I was just telling my daughter about the game i got a black eye in. Dave Kraig fumbles the ball, picks it up runs around like a chicken with his head off and then throws a TD, I jumped on my brother, who was laying down, he tried to protect his balls and his knee goes right on my eye socket. It was a great story the next day at school too.
