2013 Seahawks were a helluva team, just complete in every way top to bottom ... One of the best defense in NFL history, that can't be denied...
I was at the game and it was crazy 3 hours before the start. The entire area was prepping for weeks for that night. Its hard to explain how the entire region was focused on that team. Everywhere you went was all Seahawks all the time. When they went on the road fans lined the streets from the facility to the airport escorting the bus. Truly a great season for Seattle.

The music on the field in the beginning game me the chills. It kind of fed into the magical ambiance of the crowd.
I remember being really nervous for this game cause there was a lot of hype around it. Ended out being a blow out. Ahhhhh good times.

yea i was really nervous but i knew crowd noise was going to be a factor, that plus come to seattle with it cold and the saints were frozen. I think of seattle having an advantage with the crowd noise but also you never want to play in seattle when it rains especially with it cold, i dont know if ive yet seen a team who can beat the seahawks in seattle with those conditions.

Nah the 85 Bears are slightly overrated. They played in a lot easier era and played a easier schedule, with the #2 offense in the NFL. Not to mention being shredded twice by offenses that spread them out. They especially got shredded by Marino

Their playoff run was very impressive but unfortunately we were all robbed of seeing if the Bears defense were truly the greatest of all time cuz Marino who ran more of modern day offense and were among the tops in the league nut they got beat in the AFC championship. Instead the Bears faced garbage quaterbacks like tony eason that got benched in the SUPERBOWL! That patriots team had absolutely no place in being in that Superbowl

Seattle was very dangerous during those years. Had all kinds of weapons.
Their defense was absolutely lethal. Throw it, it’ll get picked. Run it, you’ll get smashed. Hang in the pocket, you’ll get sacked. There was just no winning against the LOB.
Imagine the days Russ took over the team 2017-2021 with that defense, they have at least 2 Super Bowl wins.

I remember this game. Even though I’m not a fan of either team, I was so excited to watch it. I stayed home from school that day due to a fever and it rained pretty much all day. Little did I know that this game was over after the 1st quarter. I really miss Mike Tirico and Jon Gruden on MNF. They were the best.
this was the golden age this season and season before and after were truly a blessing lets hope this team makes right choices and gets stacked oline.

@@syminite1 I agree...graham trade was mistake....when you have someone like graham, one year into a four year deal, being traded by the team that drafted him for what reason then ?/?? reason is he can't block which is a big deal for tight end, and what made graham 'good' was drew breeze throwing the ball to him...seattle never should have traded away a pro bowl offensive lineman/center.

I flew from Hawaii with my now husband to watch this game. It was worth every penny, even though it was a blowout.

Damn time flies. Was just fresh out of high school, had to listen to most of the games on the radio cause I didn't have cable 😂. I remember the hype and nervousness for this game being crazy and then they demolished them . Bennett and Avril came up so big that year.

Wish we had that O line and the legion of boom! Playing at that level just mounted the injuries for LOB, which in turn made for tough business decisions in turn ended our short lived domination in the NFL. This year should of been when front office had to start the dismantle process. Easily could have appeared in 3 straight SB, and after the SB49 INT
we would of won SB50 and at least 1or more. In the last 3 years as a unit. WE CAN DREAM!

If the SB49 INT never happened...this Hawks team may have gone for a third in a row. That one play messed a lot of things up.
if they didnt choke in the final 30 seconds against atlanta in 2012, i think they win the SB that year too. would have played SF in the NFC title game, and beat them 42-13 a few weeks before. i think that Seattle team beats Flacco and Baltimore. ifs and and buts though!

@@STTDB1990 Destined indeed, however our memories glorify it a bit, i recall they struggled vs bad teams (barely beat the Bucs and Texans) had some serious concerns on getting to the QB, Lost at home to the Cardinals week 15, making it came down to week 16 to clinch the division/#1 seed, and jesus they looked horrible at the beginning of NFCCG, trailing 10-0 vs SF to start the game, didn't look good! But i can watch the 4th Q of that game on repeat the rest of my life haha

KC broke that record with a countdown instructing the fans to scream in calculated fashion. Not saying Arrowhead isn’t a loud stadium and that they don’t deserve to be in that discussion. But I can tell you with confidence that on a regular basis (without record keepers there and countdowns, etc) Seattle is louder.

Ever since this game I hate when my Saints play Seattle. The Hawks were dangerous that year and had one of the best defenses in history I also think they were destined to win it all that year too.. I truly think if it weren't for Seattle we would of had another Brees and Manning SB

This was the Seahawks year to shine. They had the right people at the right time and were almost unstoppable. And when they got to the superbowl they destroyed The Denver Bronks. And the way they played all those fouls they did that year didn't really matter.
Wilson was doing great and was just amazing how he played for such a young QB.. The coach's seemed to have a great eye when they built this this team, the best players at the right time. We got to give a huge well done for Carrel and the rest of the coaching staff....
I really hope they can do this good in the 2020-21 series, heck, I hope we do have a game this year and it can go on and play and everyone stays healthy from the virus...

I was just telling my daughter about the game i got a black eye in. Dave Kraig fumbles the ball, picks it up runs around like a chicken with his head off and then throws a TD, I jumped on my brother, who was laying down, he tried to protect his balls and his knee goes right on my eye socket. It was a great story the next day at school too.
Maybe the way The stands are angeled is why the Seahawks are so good.
