I'm neither a Seahawks fan nor a 49ers fan, but damn to I miss this rivalry. Kap vs Wilson, Niners D vs Hawks D, Harbaugh vs Carroll. These teams were the perfect rivals, they mirrored each other so much and their games were always entertaining.

He wanted full control of the team and York wasn't willing to give it up so he threatened to leave and York called his bluff forcing Jim to make true on his word. Look what happened with the Jets and Chip Kelly with that same experiment. Jim's the one who got all salty and bitter. I'm not saying in hindsight is was the right move on York by any means, I'm just saying let's be real about who was Egotistical and wanted to leave because he didn't get his way.

35 years an NFL fan and this is still one of the greatest games I've ever seen. So hard fought by two great teams, and every play mattered.

The Crowd noise during the first minute, the feeling of an epic battle about to begin between two powerful foes, it sends shivers down my spine every time. I’m not a fan of either of these teams but this was a hell of a game, probably one of the best of the decade.

They moved the ball with ease every time they tried to. First and only punt was with a 29-0 lead. 8 yards per pass almost 5 yds per run. They did whatever they wanted when they needed to. If they wanted to, they score 60 in that game, with ease. The defense rightfully gets credit, but people forget how easy it was on offense too that day for Seattle.

I'm a Pats fan but this was one of my favorite games ever. The level of competition and aggressiveness between these two teams made this game. This really was the SB. Neither Denver or New England had a chance against either of these teams that year. The Niners D was awesome too.
That year for New England? Absolutely. They were just banged up, somehow limped their way to the AFCCG to lose to the high-powered offense Denver Broncos. Nobody was stopping Seattle that season

My favorite game of all time. As a Seahawks fan, this game by our arch rivals was just special. The fact that the 49ers were also a fantastic team (probably the 2nd best team) made this game almost like an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. I say almost because we came to play in that 4th quarter and took this game over.

It sucks that after this game & the 2014-2015 season, the 49ers weren't the same. It sucks that we will never have these intense games between the 49ers & the Seahawks again. I remember watching this game at home with my mom's side of the family cause they were all 49er & Cowboy fans and watching this game is like watching street football, hard hitting as hell unfortunately Crabtree choked this game, so did Kaep but that's all pushed aside now. It's like reliving when I got the Star Wars Millennium Falcon for my action figures on my favorite Christmas day.
Hawks fan here and all I can say is during this time, I had nothing but respect for the 9ers. I knew the rivalry we had was unmatched and I knew it wouldn’t last forever. Every game we had was on prime time, the whole nation tuned in, cause no other team could match the intensity that we played each other. I’ll never forget the 2010’s, it was an amazing time. Truly one of the greatest rivalries in NFL history.

It wasn't that at all. This was their 2nd N.F.C. Championship game in 2 years. It takes a lot out of an organization just to get there. Seattle has regressed each year too. They aren't nearly as good now as they were then.

Reminds me of the great NFC championship games in the 80's between the Cowboys and Niners, whose winner would go on to dominate the AFC opponent in the Super Bowl.

Let's not forget Peyton Manning isn't exactly clutch in the playoffs. It would have been closer, sure, but our defense was still very stout. We were ranked 3rd that season.

Kaepernick was sooo good. Early dropped balls by his receivers, no help from gore or the running game in general, up against the best pass defense in history, no iupati and this dude damn near pulled it off. He provided the passing yards and the rushing yards. It was literally kaepernick vs the Seahawks.

I'm a Seahawks fan and I'll admit we got a few lucky breaks this game. I still think we deserved to win but That reset playclock and roughing the punter called in the 5 yard variety helped us along for sure.

As a Seahawks fan. Niners fans. It's extremely unfortunate what happened to SF. We were there when Seneca Wallace,T-Jack and Charlie Whitehurst there when Hasselbeck was barring back injuries from '08-'10. I know we weren't a good team. SF won the West in '11 and was bringing back the West as Seattle overtook SF like what they did to 'The greatest show on turf' when Kurt Warner, Isaac Bruce, Tory Holt and Marshall Faulk were making the West almost untouchable. Eventhough, Seattle wasn't in the NFC West when the Rams beat the Titans in '00. SF was still a lethal threat. I honestly miss this rivalry between our teams. Not bashing SF,cause we there,too. We were also going through a qb carousel. The rivalry between SF AND Seattle will hopefully return again. SF made Seattle to a great team. It was a tough fight and please don't throw us Seahawks fans into ONE basket. We do exist like how SF fans exist when Nolan was the Niners coach. This was a great game in the BEST division. It's really sad to see where SF is ... NOW.

We were 4-12 in '08 and 5-11 in '09 when the Cardinals fans were relevant with Kurt Warner. '10 was a joke as we were called the NFC Weak.

This was the most physical Conference Championship Game I've ever seen. The 3 most physical playoff games of my lifetime were this game, the 2008 AFC Championship game and the 2000 Divisional between Baltimore & Titans.
I was staying in the Hospital In Tupelo MS, While my mom was in Intensive care, watching this game from the Family Waiting Room Kitchen with the other Family members, Who was visiting there Sick Loved ones..... This was Such a Great Game to watch.
