I think there are a few different manufacturers of the kit. Google search "Dorman Windshield Wiper Linkage Bushing Assortment" or even without "Dorman" depending on your region. It's three in the kit you need and you have to clip them to work.
Years after you’ve posted but still useful. Just fixed mine when the passenger wiper kept popping off due to worn bushings. Having a look a previous owner had tried to do a fix and left the old bushings inside the plastic cover so removing those solved some annoying rattling I couldn’t figure out too!
ALAN! Your video may have helped me the most! I am going thru HELL right now with my windshield wiper problems! You CLIPPING the extra plastic from the bushing to make it fit is extremely important (some videos say to melt them to make them fit--not good!) ALSO--the old bushing does not always come off that easy --take time to carefully saw-cut it off--still not there--I'll let you know if I make it out of windshield purgatory!
@@AlanIbbotson from 4:45 -5:45 in the video. What is holding the short arm to the rotating motor arm. The plastic bushing that snaps on the ball is off. I don’t know why you took the nut off of the motor arm. Thanks.
That's a bad idea. It's engineered for the passenger side to fail first so you will be able to get them all replaced at once. If the passenger wiper goes out. No big deal. If one of the other goes out you are stranded.

Rebuilt the top washers and two years later the black one below on the right disintegrated. Haven't been able to find that one.

Which specific kit of bushings did you get. I seach Dorman and none of them say they fit saab. Thank you!
they probably don't say will work with saab because they have to be modified.

None. I haven't had a wiper issue since. That being said, it's seldom I drive in the rain. 😁

If I understand your question correctly, the plastic bushing snaps on to the ball of the arm to allow the articulating action.

Just replace the one that failed.
