Initially this was a joke build to try and find out how terrible tranq rounds are. But I found myself really enjoying them, the stun with the armour break from 2-round burst has a >90% chance of stunning for 6s, which is a long time. Crystal Nucleation is the strongest cryo overclock but is limited by long-range threats such as spitters, menaces, and spreaders which tranq rounds do an excellent job of dealing with. You have to take Tier 5 C because blowthrough rounds break the armour break bonus from 2-round burst. Unfortunately the build is very bad for clearing stationaries, which can be filled by the roles of the other team, or just freezing them while you do objectives. Overall I'd really recommend this build. It's a lot of fun, and tranq rounds does a really good job of dealing with the threats crystal nucleation struggles with.
Tranq rounds being average or even bad is one of the most baffling longstanding overclock myths in the community, up there with all the praise minishells got a few years back. Even before the subata rework I think a strong case could be made that tranquilizers were its second best overclock, and now I would go as far as to say tranq round subata is downright strong. I generally run it without burst and with blowthrough, but this just shows its a decently flexible overclock, too. Glad to see some tranq rounds love for once!
I've had this idea of how to make something like ND slightly harder, but only slightly: bulk meatballs now spawn an extra couple of exploders on impact.
I only use tranq rounds with sticky fuel or sludge builds, and I use explosive reload for cryo builds. Love the content though!! Also, what are your thoughts on seeker rounds for the loki? I made a build which does well on haz5(all modifyers), but I'd love to see you make a video on it in higher hazard levels. I feel like tranq might go better with sludge pump to do big damage on large stuff with the neurotoxin upgrade and ping spitters and stuff from a distance. It just seems like it suffers damage wise when it's only boost is from grenades, but I guess it's more manageable for a solo setup
It would do if the rate of fire wasn't reduced on tranq. I literally took tier 5 c because blowthrough breaks the 2-round burst armour bonus rather than it being good. I have had a lot of success with tier 5 c and Auto Fire with sludge though
I don't think crystal nucleation needs wave cooker. It's such a good oc by itself and boiler ray wouldn't do a lot when you can just leave enemies frozen till they die. Maybe it would help if the tanky stuff is close to a boiler ray kill but that's not ideal

I think there is a bulk that spawns exploders, you would love it. It's not in ND though I don't think

I'll have to give it a go. The time I've spent with seeker rounds I found it a bit slow but I'm not a big executioner fan for the same reason
