      What would a GPT look like? Right now my experience of ChatGPT looks like a regular text conversation. I know GPT-4 V includes vision/image input capabilities but I don’t have a clear picture of how or whether a GPT would differ from the norm. For reference, I’ve only used Bing, GPT-3 and Bard.

    • @faizaniqbal3629

      @@Hexspa Have you played around with custom instructions yet?
      You can create specialized agents that follow a set of instructions anytime. Its still a regular text conversation but the entity you have a conversation with is now following a specific script. You could build one tailored to bedtime story telling, to simulate a persona or to respond only with direct quotes from Wikipedia.
      I assume you currently just ask what you want in the first prompt but doing so is very much a mixed bag. The more carefully worded and specific the initial prompt the higher the quality. Prompt engineering is a skill and a science of its own, with these gpts we will be able to share research, tools and experiments in a much more convenient way.

    • @Hexspa
      @Hexspa 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I see. Thank you for your detailed response. Yes, I've recently read that prompts are really important to the whole process. Custom instructions aren't something I've played with since I've really only used Bing. I'll definitely keep your ideas in mind moving forward. Cheers! @@Wolvus1

      @bruhager 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Per Microsoft: Tokenization is the process of splitting the input and output texts into smaller units that can be processed by the LLM AI models. Tokens can be words, characters, subwords, or symbols, depending on the type and the size of the model. Tokenization can help the model to handle different languages, vocabularies, and formats, and to reduce the computational and memory costs. Tokenization can also affect the quality and the diversity of the generated texts, by influencing the meaning and the context of the tokens. Tokenization can be done using different methods, such as rule-based, statistical, or neural, depending on the complexity and the variability of the texts.

    • @bruhager
      @bruhager 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      That study only holds water if you aren't giving the agent a calculator or similar functions a human would be allowed to use. Then mathematical calculation by a GPT agent stays at something like 99.9%. There are a ton of plugins and modalities that the Stanford Study didn't account for including access to long and short term memory and the ability to generally recall or rethink a problem. It is the difference between degradation in general behavior vs actual use capability. If you give the agent the tool it needs, then it will always do better than just prompting a statistical outcome based on what it has generally learned.

      Google is behind, by a significant measure, but they do have an ace up their sleeve in terms of integrations with other products. Bard will never be a viable competitor at this stage, but for things like AI in SEO optimization, targeted marketing etc they have the upper hand, and will secure a lot of enterprise accounts for the resulting products and services. On the consumer side, Intergrations with things like Google Earth/Maps can be huge. They also have access to their Alphabet Sister company, TH-cam, which is a massive amount of training data, and they're already in the video and music streaming arena.
      I don't see them ever brining to market a successful ChatGPT competitor, despite their claims (the results thus far have been pretty lackluster, and they have a lot of catching up to do, and lack the agility of a smaller, dedicated company like OpenAI), but they will leverage AI in virtually all their products, and likely use it to expand their other product offerings. And that may ultimately be the better way to go about it in the long run. It's a wait-and-see sort of thing right now.

    I got Chat GPT to recognize the parallels between a fetus that is still viable and a comatose patient that still has a chance of recovery. It started out with me just mentioning a fetus and a comatose patient. It pushed back on my "leaps of logic" and as I broke down it's questions one by one, in the end, it claimed to see a clear parallel. The sad part is, I asked if this knew knowledge is stored or shared and it said nothing was stored other than comments in the active session until the session is over. It was the free version, which I believe is 3? But was nice to see that I was able to get it to break bias barriers without any gimmicks and only with breaking down the logic piece by piece.
