I'm glad I clicked on this video, Princess Sibylla was a beautiful lady and it's a shame she didn't live long enough to see her grandchildren be born and her son , the current king of Sweden 🇸🇪 become King 👑
Another wonderful post. I personally think a country not only needs democracy and a strong constitution but it also needs royalty in order to have a living representative of the country, it culture and history. A royal family does that better than a president or prime minister. Political parties are usually more interested in their own power and survival and not the country. Thank you for posting.
Thank you. I enjoyed learning about Sibylla, princess of Sweden. I can't imagine how many members of the continental royals that Princess Sibylla was related to!!! Princess Sibylla and Lady May of Cambridge were first cousins to each other; they were also the great-granddaughters of Queen Victoria. Sibylla's father and May's mother were brother and sister; the children of Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany (of the UK) and (m.1882) Princess Helen of Waldeck and Pyrmont. *Prince Leopold was the son* (4th/youngest son and 8th child of 9 children) *of Queen Victoria. Sadly, Prince Leopold died a few months* *before Princess Sibylla's father* (i.e. Prince Charles Edward, later, the Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) *was born* Prince Leopold (1853 - 1884) had hemophilia and died after sustaining injuries from a fall. Charles Edward's sister was Princess Alice, later, Countess of Athlone; who (m.1904) Alexander Cambridge, 1st Earl of Athlone. (Alexader and Alice Cambridge had 3 children: Princess May, Prince Rupert and Prince Maurice] The Queen Mary (wife and queen-consort of George V, of the UK) connection is that *Queen-consort, Mary was the sister of* *Alexander Cambridge, 1st Earl of Athlone.* Queen-consort Mary of the UK and Alexander Cambridge had one other brother who was alive by 1910, he was Alexander's older brother: *Adolphus Cambridge, 1st Marquess of Cambridge* (m. 1894) Lady Margaret Grosvenor (British subject) Adolphus and Margaret had 4 children. So, Princess May had first cousins in both the Windsor[1] and Cambridge[2] families as well as in the German Saxe-Coburg and Gotha family. Sibylla was a second cousin to Prince Philip's mother (Princess Alice of Battenberg ...later family name changed to Mountbatten[3], in 1917) and her siblings. *In 1917 under the UK's Titles Deprivation Act* , three families within the BRF were required to change their "surname" (family name) All British royals/nobles were required to give up "foreign" (i.e. directed at German) titles and honorary ranks. All foreign royals/ nobles had to give up their British titles and honorary British ranks 1.) *Saxe-Coburg and Gotha* --> became --> WINDSOR 2.) *Teck* --> became --> CAMBRIDGE 3.) *Battenberg* --> became --> MOUNTBATTEN
All 4 of her children had 3 children each what a coincidence. Her eyes imply many interesting stories. Queen Victoria & Albert live throughout Europe's royal houses.
Sybilla was never very popular in Sweden I am sure when her husband died in a plane crash and she missed out on becoming Queen of Sweden she no longer felt it worth her while
Royals are very much interested in money and power, especially the British Royal family, it is runned like a successful firm. They aren't selfless. However, Felipe, king of Spain declined his father, Ex-king Juan Carlos fortune, that was from money laundering and with help of his mistress Corinna Sayn von Witgenstein transfered on a Swiss bank account. Further he cut his pension.

Thank you so much for this wonderful tribute of Sibylla and the gorgeous music by Saint Preux!

Very Beautiful. Her granddaughter Princess Madeleine bears a striking resemblance to her.
Yes absolutely
I find the font difficult to read. Spacing is too close and the blank and white blends in with the film.
One of her daughters had a look of our Queen when younger and one was like Princess Anne---just fleeting glimpses.
This is really amazing 💕
Love the music
I love your work, really it's brilliant ⭐️
Vika Kmv thank you very much!!! 😍
Beautiful work you know all time I though her name sylvia but her name is sibylla
she was very pretty and, i think, bore a striking resemblance to victoria.
She resembles I think, her aunt, Princess Alice, Countess of Athlone, much more so than Queen Victoria.
And her granddaughter Madeleine looks like a lot of her.
Beautiful royal family! Great music
Handsome couple
