Do you realize how many "missing" people there are daily??? Rather hard to make them all national news. Some go missing on their own and some taken by force. When they have clues they can move on ,I think they do make it more known. But when they reach a dead end... it's hard to cover the case in the news when there is nothing to report. Each case has it's own merits.
Approx 2300 people are reported missing in the US EVERY SINGLE DAY. About 900,000 /yr. The media report on the cases that are going to sell the most news/has the broadest appeal/will generate the most interest, they are profit driven.
There would be no time for any other news. I'd love to see a missing persons channel formed that just shows a continual loop of missing persons - basic info, a photo, etc.
You kept her memory alive for a year and never once let us forget her name or face. That took incredible strength. I know the next steps will be just as hard but that you will be able to navigate them with the fortitude and grace that you've demonstrated for as long as I've known you. ❤

I knew Kristine, we spent two weeks at a spiritual retreat together with other participants. I am so sad to learn her remains were found. I took a break from tiktok and lost track. Kristine was an incredible person. Thank you for reporting on this. It's disturbing how many of my friends have passed away. I'm only 35. I shouldn't have to keep saying goodbye so often. Appreciate what you do.
i live about an hour from where she was found and my friend was best friends with kristine. i never heard anything of her missing. it upsets me because we as a community probably could’ve found the car so much sooner if it had just been blasted on media.

I dont understand how she only made it a mile before succumbing to death. That doesn't make sense. It's possible and animal could have done it, but somehow I doubt it. With Keily Rodni... im very disappointed that her family isn't fighting harder to figure out what had happened to their child and family member. I don't believe hers was an accident either.

Ms.Kristine was an awesome human being. She worked with my son's classroom in West Oakland ,Ca. Ms.Kristine helped me through some rough times in our lives and i will always remember her. I've lost 3 family members to car related accidents and sudden loss is very hard to deal with. There are always questions I'll never have answers to but at least I didn't have to wonder where they were. That has to make the loss so much worse. Thank you for what you do. Have you ever talked to Dave Rader from Equisearch? Their mission is similar to yours- bring loved ones home. Preferably alive, but if not at least answers for the families. They do more land based searched I believe, but maybe you could help each other out now & then.

Who decides which cases make it to the national news, or many local news desks, and those that never seem to peak interest is sad to me. Some cases, there's fliers, t-shirts, volunteers. Other cases might make it to only one news station a couple times. That part seems sad to me. The indigenous peoples have an enormous amount of people missing here in the Upper Midwest. No one seems terribly interested. Others make headlines. Thanks Josh for helping find the missing, regardless of status, age, color, beauty, or average. The number of cases that have their loved one home with a descent burial, with love surrounding them, truly makes a difference. It opens up time for investigators to look for others. Sunshine State Sonar are catching up to Chaos Divers. Just think of the stack of files off the desks of those tasks with finding the missing. Truly, stack a pile of binders on a desk, and you can envision the impact you all have.❤😊😔🙏
My friend Christine Parker from Montpelier Idaho has been missing 3 months. They found her truck in a remote area near Battle Mountain Nevada. There have been very little coverage of her case. The family just did a follow up search on the mountain again. No news coverage. No one is searching camera footage, the news does one little 20 second report and no more. This topic is very real. Thank you for at least talking about it.
I knew Christine. As you said, she was involved with the youth group. I was part of the youth group where she helped me in many cases spiritually and in my personal life. I tried following along as best as I could but wasn’t able to. I pray she’s in a better place.

Even if a person can't be saved from leaving this world when found relatively early after reported as missing, the whole family can be saved from weeks and months and years of horrible not-knowing. Searchteams with boats and sonar are getting more and more recognized and popular, I hope that inspires other searchteams to form and with that multiply the chances to find missing loved ones.
