Makaveli, although only a 12 track album is definitely his deepest and most thought provoking work. Pac will never be matched in this life or the next 🤜🤛

Definitely #2 on my top 5 Pac tracks. I literally play this every Pac birthday, no lie. It's like he wrote this beyond the grave. You can hear the state of urgency the way he says, "Hold it!"
bro in the very beginning there's a voice that says " I see him..I see him..I'm alive" that shit made us kids believe pac was alive.this song is one of the hardest songs ever.
This is by far at least for me, the best song I've heard from him.. one if my top 3 for sure. The beat, the lyrics the soul that this track has in it is just like a celestial phenomenon that ocures once in a lifetime. And now I'm gonna watch the video hahah
2pac forever. Makaveli the don gone too soon. Nobody can't match him. Hector, i'm amazed how you study and understanding what he trying to say and accomplish. Keep doing you Hector. You’re the man 👍
Your channel comment section truly reflects Tupac's heart, all love. I enjoy scrolling through the comments and not seeing nasty messages and reading comments from people that admire Tupac the same as I do.
@@brainsqueezereactions you've got to understand that Pac is an international treasure, there had to be a strict vetting process! Well done for making it through and capturing the audience you have!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
This album came out almost a month after he passed. He died 2 days before the “I ain’t mad at cha” video. That’s what makes that video spooky. He “died” in the video almost exactly as he would 2 days before. That was the beginning of the “Tupac faked his death” theory
this song is eerie in its on way! I remember listening to this when he died! I was in disbelief! another great song, great reaction!#1 reactor! BRAINSQUEEZE ROCKS!❤
Dissecting this track will make you "Hold ya Head" afterward, it's a workout alright. Great reaction man! Love that you are starting to appreciate the Makaveli album the more you hear off it.
Pac had three classics: me against the world, all eyez on me, and makaveli. And then countless classic songs, both released and og unreleased versions.
The sample is from "How Do You Keep the Music Playing?" by James Ingram and Patti Austin, and the one thug reference is from "One Love" by Whodini. The back ground singer is Tyrone Wrice. Keep knocking them out, man!
He was making multiple albums at the same time. One nation was an east coast collaboration with the old school rappers from the late 80s and early 90s. Also this album is the best in my opinion. He wrote the lyrics in 3 days, its not just the 12 songs. There are like 6 others that are unreleased on TH-cam. Also it took 4 days more days to make beats. Its crazy he wrote these songs before the beats was even made and it still is world class. It was going to be a free mixtape as well but when he died suge knight saw an opportunity to make money.
yeah he was working on multiple projects and had others in mind: One Nation, Me Against the World 2, 2Face (Scarface collaboration), Thug Pound (Pac and Tha Dogg Pound Collaboration)
Bro you nailed this. There’s no way I picked up as much as you did on my first listen. We played this every day all day when it dropped and still didn’t pick up as much at first. You nailed it mate
I've heard someone else say this before but it holds true for me too. Even though I've never met 2pac, I feel like I know him better than some people I've known my whole life. His music is a window to his soul and he's never lied on a track. All facts.
He completed this album but died before it was released. Tupac was gonna make some changes to it like taking out the Nas disses cuz they squashed their beef but he died before he got a chance to redo the lyrics so, Suge decided to release it as is cuz he didn’t want people fuckin wit Pacs original vision of how the album should be at the time he made it.
Tears in my eyes .hearing thus specially on his burthday....we lost someone so special...hard to hold back when these lyrics hit so hard and the message after hes dead
Been watching all your pac reactions and today you did a great job celebrating his birthday. Salute! Whats so interesting about pac is that he evolved so quickly. If you listened to all his albums, from start to finish, you will hear how different every album sounds. Imagine the material he would put out if he never got killed. 7 day theory is such a different sound and rap compare to his earlier albums. Legend!
Hector, I told you my bro... This album is a masterpiece. I watched all your Pac reactions and I subscribed since your first pac reaction. You are doing a good job with your channel - the #1 pac channel!!! Ps: The Makaveli album sold almost 700k within first week. 1 love bro
Not all of it thou pac showed alot of range on this album even more than MATW...if you wanted diss tracks he gave you that with bomb first, and the incomparable against all odds If you want tracks for the ladles toss it up, just like daddy...live and die in LA gave you a tribute track, life as a outlaw is that hardcore track, blasphemy is that spritual track and there hasn't been a song like hailmary in the history of hip hop before or after 96...pac had something on this album for any and everyone!!!
@@mikegillins4992 thats because Me against the world was before he got shot up so there ain't no diss tracks on that but he had a track for the everyday street women and the ladies and he gave a shout out to all rappers on that album so I think every album has that same sort of concept but MAKAVELI was a little different a bit more darker in my opinion and a few tracks were missing from that album too. But the ONE NATION project album was totally different to MAKAVELI album too but I totally agree with what your saying bro 💯👍🏽
He was going to release this and was going to have enough songs to be a double album but about 15 songs got cut after he passed, which is daft cause the songs cut are fucking flawless, as is his entire catalogue!
I consider myself a huge Tupac fan, but I think that Hector has got me beat. I've never seen him react to a Tupac track that he didn't appear to absolutely love and FULLY appreciate. I ain't gonna lie, there are some Tupac tracks that I really don't care for, and have listened to very little cause they don't connect with me. But they all seem to connect with Hector. It seems like Hector's mind and heart are totally open to Tupac's work, which is beautiful. I know that there are A LOT of Tupac fans that love Makaveli, and rank it right up there with his best work, but I've never felt that way. It has a few songs that I really enjoy, and the rest is MEH. To me personally, ME AGAINST THE WORLD is better, as well as UNTIL THE END OF TIME, ALL EYEZ ON ME, R U STILL DOWN, THUG LIFE, STILL I RISE, and even BETTER DAYZ. The lyrics on MAKAVELI are typical Tupac brilliance, but sonically, musically, and production wise it just falls short for me personally. Maybe it's because Johnny J is not part of it, for whatever reason. I FULLY believe that Makaveli would have been better with Johnny J. I've heard different reasons why Johnny J is not part of it, but I don't know what to believe.
Johnny J not on it because after all eyez on me Tupac was criticized on the east coast saying it was only so big because had best producers and features on it. Tupac went to death rows 'wack room', which were the producers no one wanted to work with, smashed it out in 3 days rapping-wise. He was going to release it as under ground mixtape under Makaveli to prove he didn't need best beats but Suge blagged him to release it so a few songs were taken off, Toss it up and just like daddy added and then final mixdown took 4 days, so 3+4=7 day theory. I think the roughness adds to it personally, especially 3 day theory version..
Yes. This was his last album and I meditated to it for years after he passed. I was 15 when he passed … now 43 and this album still holds me! Thank you for your reaction, you bumping hard!! 💯❤️
In New York Yusuf Hawkins was 16 years old when, in August 1989, he traveled with three friends to the insular white neighborhood of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, from his predominantly black neighborhood of East New York, to inspect a used car. Shortly after 9pm, a mob of white teenagers - some brandishing baseball bats, amped by a rumor that a local girl had invited black friends to town to taunt them - cornered the group. Someone fired a gun; two bullets struck Hawkins in the chest, killing him. 2pac had mentioned yusuf 16 years old in his revolutionary speech 1993 indiana black expo alongside with the murders of latasha Harlins 15 years old also mentioned in the song hellrazor and Bobby Hutton 17 years old.
The song Pac is singing in the begining "0ne Thug" is a old classic Song by the Rap Group Whodini who put out one of their all time best songs "One Luv". An emotion relationship song of Man who can't make their mind up with staying in a realtionship verses being greedy getting too many Women. They was the 1st Platinum selling Rap Group and Pac show them respect singing that line. Plus The West Coast Legend E-40 made a song off the Title "One Luv" for his Homies to pay respect to Whodini and that Masterpiece.
First off, the scene that you're hearing is "X" starring Denzel Washington. (You should check it out.) This is by far one of my favorite records from Pac. Top 5, no question. Thr reason why this album is top tier is the fact that he's literally stratigizing on wax. And that is unheard of.
he meant to give this cd out for free as an underground rap tape for the streets but when he passed Suge released it as an album.theres others song that he had on it. "Soon as I get home" is one.and that song has never been remixed, even on the new albums .that beat can not be messed with.
You just earned another subscriber. You are the number 1 Tupac reaction channel. Your reactions are perfect and I have many more to go ! Keep it up. Pac the goat and not close
This was done in July 96 I think, then one nation was done in August, though not released it is out there. They used some songs off it for the posthumous albums..
Makaveli, although only a 12 track album is definitely his deepest and most thought provoking work. Pac will never be matched in this life or the next 🤜🤛

Kanye learned a lot from Pac
“I wake up early in the morning/Mindstate so military”
Also, this song has no cussing. Incredible piece of poetry.

Why worry? Hope to God, get me high when I'm buried

@@rmindz2751 that's a good point
"Nobody knows my soul" is the cherry on top of this track!!!
A college course about Tupac and his poetry was taught at Cal Berkeley.
What a song man!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 pure greatness. What a reaction Hector, your the best!
🥰😊😊😊😊😊
I told ya. This is the one. 💯👑
You were very right!!!
He was going to release this and was going to have enough songs to be a double album but about 15 songs got cut after he passed, which is daft cause the songs cut are fucking flawless, as is his entire catalogue!
Feeling the vibe great review you got soul
I was waiting for track. Thank you
Your breakdowns are the friggin best. period
Thank you Troy! 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
He expresses his Blackness 👑 and can speak to and for all of us brvu 👏 😇 👑 💜
Watched it again superb salute
great as usual bro. He def. was my generation MALCOLM X!!!!!
This is lovely to read ive read it twice now, thank you so much for sending this
Johnny J not on it because after all eyez on me Tupac was criticized on the east coast saying it was only so big because had best producers and features on it.
I have this on cd and cassette what an brilliant album felt that 😊👍
Yes. This was his last album and I meditated to it for years after he passed. I was 15 when he passed … now 43 and this album still holds me!
Thank you for your reaction, you bumping hard!! 💯❤️
In New York
Yusuf Hawkins was 16 years old when, in August 1989, he traveled with three friends to the insular white neighborhood of Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, from his predominantly black neighborhood of East New York, to inspect a used car.
💔⏪️🧠
God bless the child that can hold his own
Indeed
Enemies bleed when I hold my chrome
"God bless the child that can hold his own", One of Tupac's favorite songs by Billie Holiday.
The first time I heard this. Trills, goosebumps. Feeling was wild. Damn man this hits hard. Rip to a real legend 🕊️
First off, the scene that you're hearing is "X" starring Denzel Washington. (You should check it out.)
This is by far one of my favorite records from Pac. Top 5, no question.
Thr reason why this album is top tier is the fact that he's literally stratigizing on wax. And that is unheard of.
My boy Hector on a tare for pac's birthday. All tracks 🔥🔥🔥🔥
⏪️🧠🙌
he meant to give this cd out for free as an underground rap tape for the streets but when he passed Suge released it as an album.theres others song that he had on it. "Soon as I get home" is one.and that song has never been remixed, even on the new albums .that beat can not be messed with.
He said mindset so military. Military minded. Enemies bleed when I hold my chrome (Gun)
I wake up early in the morning, mind state so military
PAC always make me feel like I can make it! No other rapper makes me feel like this!!
one of my favorite pac tracks of all time, got me thru some things

Love your reaction keep doing what you do!
This was done in July 96 I think, then one nation was done in August, though not released it is out there. They used some songs off it for the posthumous albums..
Your choice selection is spot on! 🫡
In my top 10 Pac's songs 🔥🔥, awesome reaction btw 😱
God bless the child that can hold his own, indeed, enemies bleed when I hold my chrome.
