    This was lyrically the most poetic, passionate, and authentic track Tupac(Makaveli) ever wrote in my opinion. I been listening to Pac since I was 12. This was his message to the young nation, the future, before he passed. If you were paying attention, he didn;t swear one time throughout the entire song. He didn't need to curse to give you his message. Makaveli The Don is also Pac's best album when you ask most hardcore Pac fans. It was 100% 2pac. His core essence. He picked the 2 "worst" producers on Death Row, guys who couldn't get a single beat used by any of the other artists. 7 days in the studio, non stop. There is an interview you can find- Search Making Makaveli. One of the producers speaks at length about the making of the album. It was finished in 7 days. Pac's Mona Lisa. He thought it would sell at least 1 million. It released after he died and sold 4 million in the first week. 10 million + to date. He is the literal GOAT of hip hop

    You are a very smart young man. Your analycist is exactly on point!
    Kendric is huge pac fan, T.i, 50cent eminem etc jah rule, Boosie, etc so lotta these artists took their shit from PAC %. He was the 1st that invented some of the phrase like killuminaty, or i'aint no killer but dont push me..or black Jesus, etc..
    Im 40 years, and i been listening to pac since i was 17 and many old school rappers. The new generation rappers are weak and many of them have no creativity.
    React to Mobb deep, hell on earth, Nas i know i can. Im huge pac fan but the other old school rappers are dope too.

    • @PRSPR
      @PRSPR  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thank you very much fam! I touched on the word Killuminati when I reacted to Hail Mary, he really did inspire a whole entire generation of great lyricists. A thing I always say is impact is more than how many people you inspire but how you inspire people. That’s why when people call rappers like Lil Wayne and Young Thug goats for inspiring a whole generation, I disagree because they inspired a whole generation to rap about things that are detrimental to the youth such as drug use and violence. Also the quality of rap took a huge dip from rappers being inspired from Wayne and Thug but the quality of rap was amazing from rappers being inspired from Pac. You clearly know more about the art than me but I agree today’s rappers are very weak and they all copy each other’s sorry flow. I have reacted to Mobb Deep - Hell On Eart but I haven’t reacted to Nas - I Can but I have heard that song before

Like when other niggas catch cases and they use aliases for stage names they didn't get torn apart by the media like they did to Pac, that nigga was holding on his own in a dark industry. Nigga didn't do any regular type rap thing and kept his black panther idealogy going so he was a threat. Nigga was making hard core and dark songs be hit songs. I never understood this "don't talk bad about the dead" sentiment. Is this only for civilians? Cause we surely do that to many public figures. Death doesn't earn you respect. You gotta do that in life. If you did some bullshit while being alive - people have every right to talk about it. It's something different if it's just disrespectful rumours obv.

    • @PRSPR
      @PRSPR  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Let me clear up exactly what I was trying to say because you do make valid points. I was just saying there are people out there that literally wait til a person dies to be disrespectful but when that person was alive they didn’t dare saying any of that shit. I view that as bitch made behavior. But a counter argument to your point could be that the person may have been framed for a crime they didn’t do but now they’re catching all this disrespect because of rumors. I know many instances when that happened as well

    • @backpfeifengesicht8415
      @backpfeifengesicht8415 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@PRSPR yeah that's true. But you also get this kind of sentiment from people when it's about a popular deceased person and it's true. "Yeah that's bad, but he's dead so we shouldn't talk about it" - that kind of thing. Obviously spreading false rumours about someone, especially when dead is a nasty thing to do. I agree with that.

      I agree fam, I was talking to my friend about that saying that most these rappers have openly said they only rap for the money. What’s sad is they are only making a small percentage from the revenue their streams generate while the label makes the majority so the label is profiting off a culture that isn’t even their own as well as ruining the art form all at once, talk about killing two birds with one stone smh
