I love how they turned the starships into characters basically^^ with the movement matching the voice performance and the perspective establishing character position lol
Even though the Praetor claimed they took care of a traitor, once the view screen turns off, I always imagine Romulian captains pounding their consoles muttering "Curses! Foiled again!"
Or laughing their asses off. Making the Feds and the Klingons kill a threat within the Empire while you sit back and watch them get bloodied doing it, then sending them home with their tail tucked between their legs...
iirc the Praetor talking to Picard is the same that got killed at the beginning of Star Trek Nemesis. So it might actually be true that he did not support the Admirals actions and may very well have been on his way to deal with her himself.
Funny you bring that up, I was watching it and thinking to myself, 'like usual, that Klingon is going to get it, they never destroy Federa-'...and the Defiant blew. Color me impressed.
Not realy, that was but a friction of what they had in forces used. Thou he was right with one thing "we dont want total war across the quadrant", as great as beating up the Tal shiar would have ben at this point (it would have saved Romulus from destruction AND Picard season 1 android crisis).
