Big fan of Mind Pump. I switched careers and became a personal trainer at the age of 47, because I discovered a passion for fitness and health via your podcast. I’m now 51 and specialize in strength training for women 40 on up. I currently have a 74 year old female client pulling 160lbs on her Sumo Deadlift. She’s found her passion for strength training, too. I’m beyond proud of her. I have almost all of your programs, but I would love to have Maps Bands. I think my clients and myself could benefit greatly from it. Okay, notifications are on, Im subscribed, I liked this episode (a lot😉) and I commented….sure would be grateful for Maps Bands… Regardless-I love you guys-thanks for the consistently inspiring and helpful podcasts.💪
I love this message. I’m a new coach and I tell my clients ‘The goal is consistency, not perfection.’ And I can sense the light bulb goes off in their head when they hear that.
Thank you gents. Regarding platforms, I was a Flex and Muscle & Fitness subscriber back in the 80s/90s and I showed up late on YT for fitness content around 2018. It really reminds me of my Marvel journey, where I was into comic books as a kid and it took until the 2000s to re-experience those stories on screen. With fitness, it has re-affirmed my goals and helped me get to the best shape of my life in my 50s. I am an avid YT health & fitness content consumer now and you are right, I seldom look elsewhere.
I’ve worked out consistently since high school (I wrestled in college, then in the marine corps, and now just a gym junkie). I feel like I took up the intensity mindset in my 20s because I always chased that workout high. It wasn’t until I hit about 30 (with a family and less time) that I started to care more about lower intensity and consistency. I say all of this because I appreciate this conversation, which applies to all of us. For us who have consistently worked out, considering consistency and technique helps us not sustain many injuries so we can keep doing what we love. Thanks for these videos.
Mindpump is the best Fitness show on youtube/apple/spotify… and whatever else they’re on. I thought I was a “hardgainer” until listening to them. One year later i’m up 20 pounds and put massive strength gains on!
I think the problem with ozempic is that people seem to become dependent on it they don’t learn how to mange cravings and once the Rx runs out, they go back to overeating
Hey guys, a quick knife plunge through the lobster (between head and body) puts it to death just prior to the boiling water. More humane and many chefs have gone to this method. I saw it demonstrated by Gordon Ramsey on Master Chef.
I have been dying for a low monthly cost for some workouts. So glad you guys have this! I’m a busy dad on a budget that only has time after 9:30pm to workout. I’ve been trying for consistency, I’m just so tired by that time it’s hard to think about which workouts to do! This’ll be very helpful to just get something in on those hard days. The bands workout would be so helpful too.
I love this. I have had a few days where I can’t make it to the gym or we do go and have to adjust our workout routine based on availability and time but my wife has become so much more active because of my consistency and we have both lost over 20lbs and are stronger. Just showing up with the right attitude and perspective is 80% of the work!
I'm a new listener. Fitness has always been my passion second only to my family. I love getting new knowledge and opinions from the show. I coach and am open to all sorts of approaches to lifting and meeting fitness goals. After listening to the show today I am definitely considering the band training for awhile. I'm my own favorite guinea pig and I have a ton of injuries so I think it would benefit me in every aspect. Thanks for the content, knowledge, and footwork you guys do to get me educated and motivated!
Thank you guy!! I had 8 years of stiff lower back. Because of your squat guides, it is all gone in 2 weeks. Can thank you enough! Finally was able to kick a soccer ball hard without snapping my back..
Been listening to you guys for about a year now and I can say that you guys have helped me conquer my Body Dysmorphia. I've been extremely obese back then and lost a ton of weight using all the wrong techniques and ended up being skinny fat. Listening to you guys gave me the confidence to bulk and aim for that muscle. Cheers!
Bought the bands program and its been amazing so far. Only thing I can do without pushing my disabilities too far. Working back to crossfit strength. Thank you for writing this. ❤
Consistency is key. Going gnarly infrequently only beats doing nothing. We all know it’s a marathon. Be like Mind Pump… be consistent. Let’s go!!! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Been using some different band workouts since the last episode to try to strengthen and add some mobility in my knees and shoulders, feels great. The conversations about the non-fitness stuff is great too, enjoy the parenting tips and talk
Thanks Sal, Adam & Justin for always delivering the daily health & fitness goods to your audience. We all definitely appreciate the time you guys put in. Keep the great advice, motivation & banter coming!
Listening consistently to the podcast keeps my workouts in check. I believe I can win my wife over to train with me during a full bands workout. 😊 Thanks for all the hard work guys.
Yes! Consistency is amazing. I went through some phases in the past few years beating myself trying to workout. So far I've been running maps anabolic and KB4A and being more consistent with my gym visits. I have definitely seen an improvement in both performance and mentally. I love all your tips and all your conversations. Thank you for what y'all do!!
I love listening to you guys… me and my boyfriend argue all the time about health and fitness and doing it the right way. He tells me all I need to do is run and drink water and only eat once or twice a day. it annoys me so much. He told me I shouldnt lift weights… 🙄
Great show guys. Adam the way you show how to do pushups w/lifting hands off the floor and pinching shoulder blades together has helped my bench press for X100. Mindset of its practicing reps and exercises instead of mindset of working out
I love this concept and wish more people understood, consistency OVER perfection ……especially as life changes this is so important to know it’s ok that our workout routines change with the ebbs and flow of life! ❤
Thank you guys for all the amazing content! We either learn something new or Are reminded of important things. So no matter What we leave every episode stronger!
Let’s go, consistency is key!! Appreciate your content, honestly it’s the best fitness and health podcast in the world. Always waiting for the next show.
Killing it again guys Your positive messages are such a great reminder you can train hard or long but you can't do both but consistently is key looking forward to your next episode
Winner Winner! Please email Ann ann@mindpumpmedia.com with a screenshot of your youtube username, winning episode number, and the email address you would like the program under and we will get you hooked up!
Great episode again Mind Dudes! I have been focusing on consistency rather than beating the crap out of myself, much better results, less is more and more equals fatigue and zero growth!
Laughed so hard when sologamy was mentioned, have not heard that before. As always Awesome content about fitness and world news. More power to you guys!
Consistency of performance is essential. You don't have to be exceptional every week but as a minimum you need to be at a level that even on a bad day you get points on the board.
So muscle may support the prevention of cancer but those athletes are trying not to consume sugar. Cancer cells LOVE sugar 30:44 and grow faster with high consumption of sugar/carbs. Happy to hear this conversation on the topic. Just another reason to eat small amounts of processed sugars/carbs.
I've mixed consistency and intensity way too much. So much so that now I'm dealing with bad forearm tendonitis. So I'm giving MAPS Bands a shot now and mixing it with Aesthetic. And reduced my 6 day routine down to 3 days.
So I have heard yall say this several times about being consistent but I could never stay about working out at. I'd work out one week then take 2 weeks off and couldn't understand why I wasn't building muscle but it finally clicked oh yeah gotta be consistent duhh
Hey guys! I’m curious to know what parenting books you have been learning from, I really like what you’ve been saying. I think this would help me with my future children! Great episode 😊
I subscribed to the $5 Instagram videos! Thx you!!! Please consider in the future making full follow along program videos. I am a visual person and need to follow someone. At home dumbbell version would be awesome. I think you could reach even more!
I Can say from personal fat loss and adding muscle, going 110% all the time is worse in most cases because you just want to back down. Slowly adding in nutritional changes and training is way more sustainable and snowballs quick
@mindpumpadam what’s that supplement that you use when drinking alcohol? I don’t drink much, because I don’t like the way I feel the next day, regardless of how much I drink. I have an event where I’d like to have a few drinks, but I work the next day.
If it’s leg day. & I go to the gym for 45min at 5am. And my legs are shaking at the end. But by noon I feel fine. Can I do bodyweight squats higher rep spread out the rest of the day from home? As long as it’s within that day? And then rest my legs the next day and do the same thing for upper body days?
I love you guys! But one of y'all is a heavy breather!!😅 May need your audio tech to put a gate on that individuals mic. Or I'll just take accountability for my actions and listen without headphones if it really becomes an issue to me😂🙏
I'm pretty sure a lot of bands prior to the '80s benefited from being attractive. Heck, Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin was widely considered attractive. 😂 Also, I just built a bunch of strength without building a lot of muscle. I do a decent amount of weight lifting, but probably 70% of my exercises are calisthenic (albeit, often weighted or semi-advanced). I just ran through a program I'm writing and in a month bumped my bench from 170 to 195 and row from 170 to 200 (nothing crazy, but I'm a light 135). I'm trying to maintain my weight and not get heavier, so I was really happy with my results. Unfortunately, I had to take a two-week break, but I'm about to jump back into it. No injuries and feeling great. :)
So is this why my Visa stock went down randomly? Lol AI messing with the stocks oh no 😢 22:53 "Sologamy just means lonely" 😂 this is ridiculous I'm with Justin, people are not embarrassed anymore
I’d love to win access to the bands program. My joints feel so much better with band workouts but I’m struggling to find a good full body strength program to follow. The ones I’ve seen on Pinterest are just single workouts but I want something progressive so I can get stronger.

The best thing I did to be consistent at the gym is listening Mind Pump consistently 🔥
Hey myself,
Great comment...
Love you 😘🤣
"Building muscle is very anti cancer," such a key point!!! This point needs a lot of attention. Bravo for pointing this out.

Consistency is the key to success. For everything. I usually say that word a lot in my TH-cam channel. Keep working and stay consistent in life.

This applies to LIFE! You don't need to get ready if you stay ready.
I love this concept and wish more people understood, consistency OVER perfection ……especially as life changes this is so important to know it’s ok that our workout routines change with the ebbs and flow of life! ❤
Its true, consistency is the only key.. ive been consistent for two years
My garage workout motivation is u guys in the background. That’s all I need. Thanks guys.
G’day from down under

Bands make er dance -Justin
Love everything about this podcast. From the health and fitness info to the talks about fatherhood, they cover so much ground!
Consistency beats intensity. Sometimes I need to be reminded of this truth. Cheers from Chile :)
I am so passionate about educating and helping people reach their fitness goals. I’m looking forward to following the new IG program!!
Wow perfect timing, I’ve been thinking about these questions just this week!
You guys are becoming my constant companion on my fitness journey
Winner Winner! Please email Ann ann@mindpumpmedia.com with a screenshot of your youtube username, winning episode number, and the email address you would like the program under and we will get you hooked up!
Just moved to San Diego from Sacramento and only brought my resistance bands! Would love the program!
Consistency! I've never been more consistent in my life until I found mind pump and their MAPS programs. Thank you for the continued information!
Cool stories love real live family stories. Learning so much 🤔 Thank you guys 😎
I work out once a month a month and do the big 4 only until failure. Im injured all the time and see no progress. Mind pump is absolutely right
Great episode again Mind Dudes! I have been focusing on consistency rather than beating the crap out of myself, much better results, less is more and more equals fatigue and zero growth!
Oh wow!!!!! That monthly subscription is AMAZING!!!!!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Maps Bands is the program I need to get CONSISTENCY workouts. Nice job, fellows.
I've been saying consistency is key for years. What a great message and podcast today. Thanks guys.
I've been listening and watching your videos for month and a half now and it's helped me lose a lot of weight and starting to get some muscle. Thanks!
Love your show. Thanks for all the great content.
Laughed so hard when sologamy was mentioned, have not heard that before. As always Awesome content about fitness and world news. More power to you guys!
I love this. Consistently wins the race. Keeps muscles under tensions more often. It also builds mental toughness andvgreet
Consistency of performance is essential. You don't have to be exceptional every week but as a minimum you need to be at a level that even on a bad day you get points on the board.
I consistently listen to Mind Pump 💪 Currently doing maps strong and loving it!
One & only podcast I've been listening.. keep up the good job guys.. 👍👍😁😁
Never thought I’d hear Bilmuri being discussed on the MP pod lmao love that guy
This is so true. Everyone needs to hear this.
Love the opening message ❤ consistency for workouts and diet over perfection is the approach I'm taking ❤
100%!!! This is the only reason why I have been able to see results and stick to my goals! ❤️

I've mixed consistency and intensity way too much. So much so that now I'm dealing with bad forearm tendonitis. So I'm giving MAPS Bands a shot now and mixing it with Aesthetic. And reduced my 6 day routine down to 3 days.

Since following I’ve been much more consistent. Thanks guys!
Justin, “ are people just not embarrassed anymore” 😂 so true!😂
Yes consistency is the secret to get to your goals! I bet I'd be even more consistent with the new bands program! 😉❣
Excited as always to listen to this Mind Pump!!!! 💪
So I have heard yall say this several times about being consistent but I could never stay about working out at. I'd work out one week then take 2 weeks off and couldn't understand why I wasn't building muscle but it finally clicked oh yeah gotta be consistent duhh

Dude Bilmuri is one of my new favorite bands lol
This new option is great, now there's no excuse to better your body and mental health.
“Consistency over time” - mike van wyck
But chains have the same effect that you mentioned. I believe the elasticity of the bands mimic our muscles behaviour.
Justin had a bar today!!! Talking about the "High Lobsters" he said, "it's the price you pay for having a tasty tail." 😂🤣😂🔥🔥
Wasn't expecting to hear Bilmuri get talked about!
What bands would you recommend if I were to buy (or win 😉) the new program?
Just found out the gym at work is going to be closed for two months. Bah! Perfect time for a band program eh, eh, eh 😂
I subscribed to the $5 Instagram videos! Thx you!!!
Please consider in the future making full follow along program videos. I am a visual person and need to follow someone. At home dumbbell version would be awesome. I think you could reach even more!
Name dropping Bilmuri while I was listening to Bilmuri threw me through a loop
But also, I'm always listening to Bilmuri...

BOOM!! MIND PUMP
Justin: “Are people just not embarrassed anymore?” 😂 Funny and sad all at once.
As a truck driver it is hard to get my full body work outs in. Can bands be useful to get my workout in when I am on the road?
Consistency wins💪🏾💪🏾
@mindpumpadam what’s that supplement that you use when drinking alcohol? I don’t drink much, because I don’t like the way I feel the next day, regardless of how much I drink. I have an event where I’d like to have a few drinks, but I work the next day.

I didn’t have “look up get lobsters high before cooking” on my Mind Pump bingo card today. 😂😂
So true love this show
Great episode!
When does the $5 per month start????
Already up and running! Just head over to the main Mind Pump Instagram channel and you'll see a "subscription" tab
Justin: "Are people just not embarrassed anymore?"
Sal: "We need to make people embarrassed again"
Mindpump officially advocates for bullying 😂

Here early, and pumped for the new program.
Great podcast 😊
I am really curious if maps bands is good for rehabbing my body. The regular weights stiffened my joints...
The commentary on the self-weddings had me dying xD

Did you hear about Ozimpic causing muscle and bone density loss 👀
