Thank you so much! I accidentally ordered a reversed Spektrum A330 as a spare for my flaps system (two servos, one channel). Five minute job to revert it back to normal, no problem. Easier to switch out the cables on the PCB than on the potentiometer.
Hi John, I was looking for a fix for my servo reverser issue and saw this video. My soldering skills... suck. lol I am running into this issue with the MG-90 for my Johnny 5 bust build. (I want to learn more about Arduino programming for my R2 with it) I tried the servo reserver trick but you have to unplug the wire while it is powered and then plug it back in to get it to work. I can't do that with the head buttoned up... so here I am looking for other options. I dunno if this trick will work with such a tiny servo though. Thanks for the video though! Hope you are having fun with your R2 and stuff!
thanks for sharing knowledge.now i can reverse my servo direction on xk k120. i install the align 150 grs flybarless unit on xk heli and reverse the elevator servo mechanically as your teach.
I notice that the servo does reverse, but does not go to the exact same positions as before. For this application, that may not matter, but other applications are not that forgiving. Is there a way to fix that?
End point programming in the radio, or shift the potentiometer CW or CCW if the servo case allows it. Reposition the servo wheel/arm or use adjustable servo wheels/arms. Drill out a servo wheel to a custom hole location. In short - lots of ways & no different from setting the servo arm position up in the first place.
I Just Did This To A Small 7K Servo. Talk About Anxiety, So Little Space. Made It Work But I Think I'm Just Gonna Try And Make Space For Servo Switcher Instead. Too Much Risk In Internally Reversing Them Especially Since These Are Consumables On A Mini RC Crawler lol. This Is A Full Time All Wheel Steering Set Up Using A Transmitter That Does Not Support Rear Steer Functions.
Shit I thought reversing a servo would be just inverting the connecting cables. As I don´t have a good working place I hope I have a chance to invert my 9g servo :S:S:S THANKS!

Thank you so much Philip for the support.
Thank you so much!

Great to hear 👍
Great! Thank you so much! It's so simple and works absolutely well. Now I'm able to finish my plane without waiting for new parts to arrive.
Glad it helped.

Thanks for the helpful video, worked on my HS-485HB servo just fine.
Good to hear
thank you very much! great explanation and smooth speech.

Thank you so much it helped me a lot, without this my IRONMAM HEADGEAR build would have been incomplete
No problem
Great explained, thank you.
Great guide
Glad you enjoyed it
Brilliant idea, thanks!
Excellent. Needed this for flaps. Servo reversers can disagree with Spektrum!
Glad it helped.

Me ha servido para invertir servo dirección de rueda que esta en Y con timón, thank you very much!!

Hi, where did you get that Y-Lead Reverser from? I need one for my Tundra plane. Thanks.
The Local RC Hobby Shop (Great Hobbies - Canada).
What is the tube on hour soldering iron?
Fume extractor
@@Rchelicopterfun I need one of those. No matter where I solder, the fumes always blow right to my face.
Cheers..
what transmitter is that?
FrSky X12S
Tried it and now the potentiometer is all kinds of messed
Nice bos
Not nearly as hard as the 2.3g servo I reversed. TINY solder connections! I think my eyes are still crossed. ;-)
I can only imagine! Think I'd need to use a rework microscope for that tiny job 🙂
