Basically Unseld Jr. got fired and probably the only reason why the wizards are keeping him on the team is due to the greatness of his father Wes for bringing the only championship that team has back in the 70s.

Kuzma's ring and Poole's ring aren't really comparable. Poole was absolutely vital to his ring, a key piece to the Warriors 2022 playoff run and finals run, who took over for Stephen Curry when he was injured. Kuzma's run was more minimized and less significant, though still valuable, of course. There is a big difference between the two. Probably why Stephen A distinguished Poole with "NBA champion." But yes you're right!

@@andrenelson4595 Because I'm someone who actually pays attention to the ENTIRE league, I know that Leonsis finally did the smart thing and got rid of the remnant of Ernie Grunfeld. He hired Michael Winger, who was with the Clippers as GM, to be their President. Winger hired Will Dawkins who was Asst. GM under Sam Presti in OKC. Two great hires. The got rid of Beal and got the best return they could have under the circumstances and moved on from Porzingis as well. They got Bilal Coulibaly in the draft and he's been a top 10 rookie thus far this szn. They will be involved during the trade deadline. I think the Wizards on the right track.
The story here is simple. The Wizards took pity of Monty Williams, who's desperate to win the "Worst Coach of the Year" award and has been doing a great job at that, but even with the worst record in the league he was still falling behind Wes Unseld, who can't draw a play even if his life depended on it and has the Wizards playing some really horrifying basketball, so the Wizards decided it was time to compensate Monty for his effort and make him the prime candidate for the award, by taken Unseld out of picture.

She said what we have always heard about Poole and that is he works his azz off and the team has told her that they're all very close and they feel very connected to.
