    Nice to see...
I haven’t really seen Kwara before..
Tho I think with the way things are evolving the gov should consider bringing in more investments into the town that will cause a sort of face lift and open the town more..
Looks really calm tho 😁 and I bet there will a lot of historical things here👍
    Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍

Wow ..Offa is old.. Reminds of the old parts of Ibadan, which now getting smaller and smaller compared to the Ibadan city expansions.
Offa needs a massive facelift and injection of investments like they did Ilorin... Hope the state govt. Is paying attention with serious future plans ahead for this 2nd most important city in Kwara State .. !!

Sorry to say that most of the western towns and cities has ds old rusted looking rooftops, which says how the Yoruba's are not keen about modern structures in their home towns like the rest of the other regions in Nigeria. They should emulate from Lagos. 🙄🙄😏😏

Musa, the Yoruba settlements are very old and are more than 200 years old when the roofing sheets you are seeing were the order of the day. You only see thatched roofing sheet, that is common in some regions in farms.

@@abiodunadetimehin9659 I agreed, but that does not mean there shouldn't be modernization in some other parts of the cities. Will they rather stick to the 200yrs roofing sheets forever? In as much as I love cities that keep their ancient landmarks, for history sake. At least there should be some new sides of a new modern city. Port Harcourt has something like that, where they refer to the "old Port Harcourt" as "town" and then, has the larger modern settlements as well, that's the one you mostly see in photos or videos.

This area is the old part of the town which is the well known area. There is also the new part of the town as well. Every town/city have the old and the new part in Nigeria.

I haven't been to the whole of the south West but I think the only ok city/state in the southwest is Lagos. And I think only Lagos and Abuja are quite okay cities compared to standard developed cities in other countries. Port harcourt is the 3rd most developed city in Nigeria, and it's just there. Nigeria is all about individuals building a nice big house without any actual infrastructure or development in the cities. It's a shame. In this 21st century, 99% of Nigeria still looks like shit. Wealth of the nation just goes into private pockets who mainly waste it abroad and for social enjoyment at home.

Yorubas are not trying to be sincere. A whole town look like this? and all they shout everyday is Lagos... this is bad. Even Ohafia LGA in Abia State is far developed than this.
