Nice investigative piece. However, he was elected as the Adamawa state governor in December 1998 and was selected to be a running mate as VP by Presidential candidate Olusegun Obasanjo before he was sworn in as governor.

Atiku as head of the Privatization, he sold the following: Aluminum Smelter Ikot Abasi worth $3 billion for $130 million, Sold Delta Steel Aladja worth $1 billion for $30 million, Sold Elemene Petrochemicals worth $3 billion for $250 million etc. Don’t forget the numerous government agencies they sold (149) to be precise without paying the Workers their pensions. It was Buhari that just paid most of the retirees. Where did Atiku get $40 million to set up American University Yola as a retired Custom officer and don’t forget the massive corruption by one of his companies in the oil and gas logistics? Tell what Tinubu has stolen as compared to Atiku..
