Let's compare this to Piper M350. Piper costs about the same but is about 20 knots faster, has 40% more range, a pressurized cabin and 6 seats. And DA50 has a wider wing span - will not fit in a standard T hangar. So can somebody explain why why would anybody want to buy this instead of M350?
Awesome plane. About the only thing I find odd is that with it's FIKI system, a service ceiling of only 20K? I would have expected 25K, like you'd find in a Cessna P210.
13 GPH...well, lessee: My Mooney 231 carries four with baggage at 160 - 195 KTAS, burning 10-12 gph, fly up to fl240. With 2 and baggage, I can go over 1,000 NM with full fuel. Oh, wait, the DA 50 costs $1.2 million--Meridian money--for performance nearly identical to the plane I already own? Hmm... 😁
Well you could say the same about the SR-22G7. At least this has 5 seats, burns Jet-A and has a proper landing gear system appropriate for this price range.

Owned a DA40 XLS for 12 years. Absolutely a nightmare dealing with Diamond for parts and service. Never again.

Pretty sure the critical altitude of the turbo is 12k 18k tops which is much lower than a turbo 210 or any 100LL turbo piston
