Put her in front of a movie camera with a script and director, Eva has the talent to play just about any role imaginable. Away from the cameras she's this down to earth, shy, sometimes awkward woman who just wants to merge into the background. A very endearing quality to have and super rare with all the attention seekers in today's mad, bad world. Just one of the things I love about her.

The gorgeous Eva Green, I was mesmerised the first time ever since seeing her in Casino Royale. I adore her not just bec. she's a very talented actress but also I see part of myself in her - introverted, geeky, clumsy, homebuddy but when it comes to work - it is also as if I am out of shell - it feels liberating and confidence-boosting. I think being an actor or actress must be the biggest head game of any occupation, by far. Imagine changing your character for each movie, then returning to "real life" briefly, dealing with the insane paparazzi, and so forth. It's amazing that these people survive with their mental faculties in working order. (unfortunately, a significant number do not. No surprise). It seems to me that Eva is one of the sane ones and knows exactly how to cope- by being herself no matter what (until she's in character, of course).
And people think actors get to much paid lol.

One of my favorite shows of all time... Although I'm not sure it was cancelled... I think it just kind of... Ended? Idk, but they did a spin off called Penny Dreadful: City of Angels... And it was awful. It literally had nothing whatsoever to do with Penny Dreadful. It may have been tolerable as a standalone on its own but the fact that they had to align it with Penny Dreadful ruined it for me. I wouldn't recommend watching it.

Eva is my favorite actress. It's Eva Green, Meryl Streep, and Betty Davis for me. I hope she manages to have a joyous life apart from her intense acting roles. When she goes mad you trust that there is a doctor on the set, and when she chants a spell or curse, you check yourself to see that you haven't gone under it. Magic is the only word to describe her, she has extraordinary beauty and yet she can frighten away the most horrific monsters without any scary makeup of her own.

She's french !!! English language is not her natal language ! It's so strong by her to speak a great english. She's the daughter of one of more famous french actress (Marlene Jobert). She became very important in US productions, so smart she is. She speaks english as Jodi Foster speaks french : perfectly !.
