Is there anything that explains how to mod and tweak the files themselves? Not just installing mods but actually modding the files? As in magazine quantity, wealons damage, what can be attavhed to what weapon...Can't find jack on that anywhere.
@TACTICALKAOS1 I have not since I don't have a Discord account. I just need to figure out what program I need to use to edit the .data files. JAVA, C++, Python, Notepad++...
Thx for the tutorial, really helpful. One question is how to delete already installed mods? Removing buildtables form the extract folder adn then repacking breaks the item I wanna rewind to normal.
Hey so you can back up the vanilla files before u drop the mods but that can take alot of time. Theres no quick and easy way i usuallh just reset and start fresh its just eaier
@@TACTICALKAOS1 I create multiple "Versions" of my backups in the Backup folder. I label them as 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, etc. That way if something breaks I don't have to reset completely, I can restore my .forge files from the previous modded backup that worked. Takes a little extra time while modding but saves an entire reinstall over my crappy internet.

I think it would be helpful to add it into tutorial vids for ppl who aren't too sure about modding with Anvil. I broke my game install multiple times until I had a system in place for backing up and restoring stuff haha.
hey man I have an error when starting the game, the game was saved, I put mods in it but it had no errors or anything but when I installed this mod the game also closes
Ya the buildtables mods are really annoying but allow for good mods. What other mods do u have in because it could be a compatible error. Or missed a repacking or placed in wrong order there are so many things that uld cause this
I have quite a few mods including Unlock Everything, Crye AVS & JPC Loaded, AMP headset, etc and I lag a lot when I'm loading into areas when I'm in a helicopter or going at high speeds in a ground vehicle. It seems like a problem with my RAM. Do you know how to fix this? Also I've been forgetting to refresh after I add the mods. Could that be one of the problems?
refreshing is just a good habbit but that wouldnt cause the issue, its probably one of the mods you got in, idk about unlock everything i dont use it, but the build table gear and weapon mods shouldnt cause issues, how much ram do you have
@TACTICALKAOS1 i got 16 gbs of ram. Im pretty sure the Unlock Everything mod is the cause of the problem, but I really need it in order to actually use every mod i download. In vanilla grbp, everything works fine obviously
I would just delete extracted folder and start over sinpliest way to fix issues it sucks but ive had to do it toms of times. What mods did you try putting in
What do you meen source file missing. Did j delete the current forge files and replace them with pre September 19th forge files. And then when u unpack it createx extrsctex folder nothing should be missing. Have you downloaded net5 and set compression ratio to 0 and uncheck use compression. And are u on steam. If u can let md know these things it eill help me to troubleshoot
Hey man. Thanks for the video. I have a problem after installing the buildtables. I did everything as it was shown in the video, but my game crashes of I have bugged main character and npcs. What can be a problem???
The build table mods are crazy touchy. The clash with alot of other mods it seems like. I've had to restart my mod list 10 times this week because of buildtables. They allow for ported gear from other games but damn are they a hassle
@@TACTICALKAOS1 guess I have plenty old mods of different kids. Maybe that is the problem. So now I am reinstalling the game to start from zero again 😅

The night vision could cause crashes with buildtables. Did u put in helmet build table with headset buildtable snd the opscore headset mod?
