It always did feel like Wildlands and Breakpoint were underrated and meant for people actually looking for a very tactical and real combat. Glid and the boys portray this perfectly

As America likes to say: "slow is smooth, smooth is fast."
In the US ARMY we always said "slow is smooth and smooth us fast"
I usually don't play games on the highest difficulty settings. But this game is SO DAMN GOOD when its difficulty is increased. If you playing on maximum settings though and your friends are playing on lower settings, you really start to feel like dead weight, cause they always know where the enemies are what with the detection clouds, mini-map, enemy tags through walls, etc. etc.
But man you find a team who plays with the same settings as you? Damn it CHANGES the game. You actually have to communicate! And its just so good! I remember playing Pathfinder with the Amoros drone overwatch ability of the class and just using white-hot thermal to spot and point out targets for my team, even yelling to him to watch his ass cause a breacher was charging into the building behind him, allowing him to react in time and take him out before going down. Then running out of time in the drone so I swapped to my DMR, took the suppressor off (far enough away they wouldn't be able to triangulate me from that range), and just started popping helmets to cover him in the tower as he was getting rushed by enemies. Game really has moments that are just straight fire.
Certain settings like losing remaining ammo in the mag in a game that doesn't let you pick that mag back up irks me however, and you don't actually drop the mags with the animations, so I don't use that setting, cause yeah... its stupid. But maybe if they hadn't sunset the game and really redid a few of the tactical stuff like "speed reloads" where you can double press the reload button to drop the mag (even if there are still cartridges inside) and just load a new one in for a faster reload at the cost the mag, only to find and pick that mag up later if you need the ammo that badly. Now that woulda tickled my tactical itch. So to summarize, the game is tactical by nature, but this game is like "Casual Tactical" vs. "Simulation Tactical" like Ready or Not... when will we get an open world co-op tactical game like ghost recon with milsim mechanics... I pray.

I play all solo on advanced difficulty and use everything at my disposal as you should. The only time I might go no HUD is when I enter a building which is not that often. You're supposed to use what you have. Why would you go no HUD when you have the technology?

@LiamSilent4058 OP I admire what you wrote, it's absolutely true. Hopefully next installment of Ghost Recon has this issue fixed. We need two difficulty settings Normal and Elite. That's it, and everyone plays hosts difficulty and restrictions.

Love it when you guys play this game. You get stealth, comms, and strategy but also plenty of gunfights and good action. I found this channel when the Motherland DLC dropped because I wanted to see good tactics combined with great teamwork. Well done!

Breakpoint has become the game that gives me that tactical fix. I started using no HUD since Wildlands which was suggested by a friend. Both Wildlands and Breakpoint are completely new games when played no HUD and extreme difficulty. For now, I'm playing on Xbox but soon I'll be getting a PC to play other beautiful tactical Shooters suggested by your channel. I enjoy every video you've released. Thanks so much for your content.
yeah after playing ghost recon for a few days, I can totally say that the hardest part of the game is FINDING THE DAMN STAIRS like bruh it's insane how hard it is to find the way up to the next level sometimes. I run around for like 4-5 minutes trying to find the stairs, that most times I just jump down and take the fall damage if I can when going down cuz I don't wanna find the stairs. Anywho jokes aside, another great video GLID, awesome content as always!

imagine if this game had a multiplayer gamemode where one squad defends a base and one infiltrates. you have time to prep and can attack however you like. would be absolutely amazing.

@@sk8peGo47honestly i think its like that but the base would be like an actual base instead of inside a building and they have to defend it while the attackers either have an objective like to steal something from the base or destroy something but it has breakpoints gameplay

Moving from broad daylight to total blackout interiors really is a bad day at the office. They do the same thing in Six Days in Fallujah.
Biggest issue with GR is the lack of ability to backpedal or step backwards quickly in CQB.
That and the ridiculous bullet drop and muzzle velocity.
Wish this game had a spectator cam so we can really up our cinematics!

It's up to everyone to find the best, most realistic style of playing. For example: Never parachute to close to enemies bases, to stay undetected. Use only what there is in your backpack. Reducing all information about targets, enemy concentration etc. check everything carefully and with passion before get in. don't leave dead enemys in the area to stay undetectable. I play solo and I don't use vehicles except it there is no other way. Changing weapon and stuff only reduced at the resting point....and so on...this game is great and I love it. God job guys.😊

@@GLIDGaming 🤣 Thanks, I have always had some discipline in these kind of things, I tend to think "if it was reality, I wouldwant things to go as smoothly as possible, things don't always go as planned like in the vid but it doesn't hurt to be prepared properly. My friends though 😅 they are not horrible, just not focused enough, they are more "it's just a game anyway"

Nice play. It would've been great to see you guys group up in twos (i.e Charlie and Delta team) to take on the mission, that way you can pepperpot dynamically as you progress.
Imagine this game with Unreal Engine 5 graphics, updated physics, new game mechanics, advanced A.I, and good story with a modern twist. Airstrikes, artillery, naval support, trench warfare, strategic gameplay mechanics, large friendly vs enemy battles, and mission structure based on tier 1, 2, and 3 capabilities to choose from. 😮💨 I would pay $100 or even a monthly subscription for a game like that. But these developers dont like money.

I like to lay a mine at the generator and just shut off power manually. It won’t alert of an attack. If they send someone to power it back on they’ll blow the genny themselves. Gives you a window to operate quietly

I have a suggestion for you brother. If you have a command center that would make it more realistic.
like a guy talking as a command centre and taking inputs on a mission about what's going on. He doesn't have to do anything just have to talk like the commander of the army just to create more excitement that would be amazing to see. You can try that for one video and see how it responds to the audience just a suggestion rest it's your choice. Thanks for amazing video as always
