as a hetero male, and an older one to boot, I just want to tell you that you are beautiful, intelligent, and I'm glad you were able to finally be you. Thank you for giving all of us an education on transgender, so that we may better understand and accept everyone for who they are, not who others think they should be.
@@kathleencastle8631 True, but if he or she is still ok with the change after many years, I don‘t care. I‘m just not sure if that will be the case. Let‘s wait and see. I question the whole transition process to be honest. But who knows? Maybe it is a real thing and the right choice for some individuals, I don’t know. For most transitioning these days, it’s definitely not right, they have other issues but are guided into transgender ideology, that’s more than obvious. For her I hope I‘m wrong with my guess. I don‘t wish pain to anyone!
First, @Jon, being hetero is not relevant here.... this is about gender identity, not sexial orientation. However, your message and intent is wonderful snd I thank you for it. ❣️ To the others who have replied, please accept Maya for who she is. Her actions have not harmed nor affected you in any way. I can assure you that being trans is real. Why must the person have "other issues"? What could be more of an issue than feeling like, knowing, that you are one gender, but have the primary sex organs and body of the other? Cis people can't understand, and that's OK, but just because you don't live with the issue, and can't understand, doesn't make it wrong or not real. 💖
You are so beautiful! My favorite thing about watching transition videos is watching the person literally blossoming over time. You can see that sparkle begin to to shine in them when they start living as their true self. It's soooooo beautiful. I'm happy that you can finally be happy as your true self.
I just saw your video, I’m a grandma 👵 and still learning about the transition and the courage that kids like you need to have. Thank you to give me the opportunity to learn from your experiences. Good for your aunt and mom. We have to learn to be more open mind and ready to see the reality. You are a very pretty girl, all the good for you.
I am so sorry that society is so confused and in conflict with itself that it caused you to feel so disconnected from your truth. I hope you can forgive them for they know not what they do. Their ignorance is not in their awareness and I am so grateful that you have the courage to be you despite their ignorance. 🙏🏻💕🌻 You are such an inspiration to so many people, and I am so grateful for you!!
As a mother it literally hurts my heart that you had to live for so long uncomfortable in your body. I will always support my son in any life decisions that he makes (positive of course) I’m happy that your happy ❤️
I didn't understand why this video was making me emotional then I realized it was the very first video of Maya I ever watched! It's amazing to see how much she's grown and have more context to all she's been through. I have been watching Maya for the last 5 years and will surely continue for many more! Hope she can achieve even more and grow ever happier and more accomplished 💜
I just realize while watching this how lucky i am to be born on my own "skin" and never felt i wanted to be someone else but couldn't, i can't imagine how hard it must been for you and other people who goes through this and how brave you are to go through this journey. I feel happiness for you and i'm grateful for what i have. You're beautiful in and out
Lots of people mistakes a number of mental health issues with gender dysphoria such as gender dysmorphia…..transgender person has an unbearable urge to get out of its own skin and a parent should know, feel their child from the moment they are born. There is no thinking about it, no wondering whether it would pass or not…..person doesn’t have time nor energy to go around arguing with the rest of the society about being accepted in competitive sports after transitioning as their condition consumes their lives and all they want is to be themselves and live a peaceful life
I'm not sure why I was lucky enough to have your post surgery video pop up in my recommendations but now I've watched a few of your videos. ❤ What an amazing woman!
I have so much admiration and respect for you. You have so much class. You're intelligent, articulate and have such a calming, trusting energy. Thank you for sharing, wishing you all the best!!
I’m so glad you got to do this when young. Enjoy your time now as it is truly a gift with so many opportunities ahead of you. Best of luck for your continued path.
Still it's something to be grateful for, some trans women have horrible dismorphia around their masculine features and it can cause a lot of grief and be VERY painful and expensive to change through "facial feminization" surgery.. i hope that not having to change the face you were born with was somewhat of a blessing for her in a way, mentally and physically! Maybe help with a smoother transition?
That's exactly what I was thinking, even before transitioning she looked like a girl. She's lucky that when she reached puberty her skin remained soft and pink and she didn't get hairy [no sign of a shadow on her face], and her bone structure was small--narrow shoulders, small hands, etc... Some boys become very masculine looking at puberty, not Maya.
@@rayarena879 Maya has said a few times that she has shaved the hair on her face. She probably won't need to do that as much since the SRS, but even cis-women grow facial hair. That is because everyone produces androgens which are hormones that helps hair grow, among other things.
I would love to see another transition timeline!!!! I loved the first one. In fact, that very video is the one that finally led me to not only subscribe, but to be more open minded and accepting. Thanks to you, I realize that trans women and trans men are no different than people of that biological sex. I admire you and your channel. Thank you! If you take the time to read this, may I just say I hope you have a wonderful day!
You are (and should) be an inspiration to everybody in this day and age! Bravo! There really is not much "transition". You can see that who you "were" and who you "are" ~ one and the same. A beautiful person.

Hi Maya, I saw your timeline a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. It was a grate and lovely change. And now, see you react to that video, as the beautiful woman you are, has been very inspirational. Congratulations for your courage.
Thank you for sharing your story - you are so brave. I think even more so than you may know ! You honestly have been through so much, to go through schooling and to have to hide your dysmorphia for so many years. It warmed my heart when you mentioned that you would wear your hair extensions and take that time in your dorm room to feel beautiful. I’m so glad you have such a supportive family - I also had to add that you honestly looked more feminine than me pre hormones - you’ve always looked beautiful, thank you for sharing your story so openly. What an amazing transition, even the photos from 5/6 months where you’re already a gorgeous young woman. You come across so gentle, sweet and charming. I’m just so glad you are where you are now- being able to feel and be the best version of yourself - for yourself ! I think that’s the meaning of life, being able to find ourselves and share that with others who are struggling, in whatever way it may be. All the love !
Oops cont. didn’t edit that. You created a fabulously yet calm effect as you explore your identity. I am not explaining this well. We all struggle to present ourselves which may not always be how we perceive ourselves. Your struggle was more painful and confusing than most, yet oh so human. You can be enjoyably flamboyant, but your most telling effects can be very subtle. I am not explaining this well or maybe don’t understand it well but it is remarkable. You are developing an authentic professional persona that communicates a subtle authority.

I'm gay, but I find this growing up experience very relatable! You bringing up mcdonalds...I remember being in the drive-thru at mcdonalds as a kid and just praying they make a mistake and give me the "girl toy." We would all be so much better off if we stop putting expectations on others about things that are really inconsequential to everyone but the person making those decisions and their own life.
It's highly unusual to look that passable so quick, even before HRT! The round face, thick hair, no facial hair, and high level of sophistication with clothes/hair/makeup (probably from having sisters) make for instant passing at 19yo.
Hey Maya, its James. You are such an inspiration to like minded people and i appreciate your honesty. I have followed your story for many months and it is amazing. I hope you are doing well....in all aspects of the latest transition. you are beautiful
it's so heartwarming hearing that your family helped you get through your transition and encouraged you. that's such a rare thing and I'm honestly proud of them for not being judgemental and so open about it. I hope future trans people get the same support you had since it has been talked about more in society. such an amazing video, I had peepee in my eyes
Maya, I'm so proud of you. I must confess I had to watch this video for few more times. After the first watching it was such a huge "WOW" for me that I was absolutely speechless. I must say that I understand very well how you had to feel before your transition. I'm in quite similar situation because I feel I have feminine feelings, emotions, behaviour and if I have opportunities my demeanor is also feminine. But it's really hard because I must hide this fact from those I love the most. I mean my family. They would never ever allow that and wouldn't support me ever. On the contrary I would cause them very painful heartbreak. Especially to my parents. That is something what I absolutely don't want to and that's the main reason I must hide my true identity, the fact I'm more feminine than they can imagine. They know I sometimes behave a little feminine but they absolutely don't how much feminine I am. What I'm much afraid of is that one day this fact will come out and my family (parents and siblings) would have to handle it some way. I think you can imagine how difficult is it to hide the truth like this, and unfortunately I have no one who I can speak about this openly. When I was watching this video for the 3rd or 4th time I was tearing a lot. It was so emotional for me. I wasn't able not to mention that it were bringing you to tears when you started to speak about your age of 19 and 20. I must tell you that I'm very proud of you. Although I feel very feminine I'm still into girls and I must say that you are absolutely gorgeous, cute, kind and beautiful woman. If I didn't know you are trans woman I wouldn't be able to recognise that. Basically I don't know how to express enough how important your videos are for me and for whole LGBTQ community. My only hope is that one day I'll be able to express my true personality. Of course also thanks to your very supportive and inspirational videos. I wish you all the best for the future.
I agree with Taliesin’s comments . You have become a most beautiful girl and looking at you now and hearing you speak , it seems the real you can at last express herself . Like many others I am so sorry that you had to go through such difficulties , but the end results speak to your courage and conviction that you had been there from the beginning and now the entire can witness this truth for themselves

Wow! After watching another of your videos, I felt compelled to find this video and I'm really glad I found this one. As a straight open minded Christian guy, I wanted to understand. I am matured physically, but maybe naive mentally because I don't know anybody who has travelled your path.
Watching you from the very beginning of the channel (when it had different topic if I'm not wrong) these videos made me super happy and proud of you, that's just so wonderful that you can live being comfortable with yourself, it's a true blessing to know ♥️ idk why, but I feel a personal attachment for that type of stories,so it's heartwarming to see such personal stories, with unavoidable problems, but leading to success, hope you'll be happy!
I am so happy for you. As a boy and young man you seriously had a feminine vibe, even w/o the clothing. I'm happy for you that you were greatly supported by your family. So many are not and face ugliness, confusion and even violence. As a 59 year old woman, I find all of this so interesting and informative. I wish you nothing but happiness and love. You are beautiful, in and out. Blessed be.
Maya, I just stumbled on your TH-cam videos, and can't stop watching them. You are an extremely enchanting young women...beautiful...charming...GREAT sense of humor. Thank you for putting together solid entertainment. Wishing you continued success in all your endeavors. Bill

Hi Maya, you always were beautiful. You were beautiful as a child into adulthood. Your skin is like porcelain. I have a great admiration for trans women. You all go through so much to achieve your goal to become great women. A lot of my friends are trans and I seem to have amazing compassion for them because they don’t take advantage of anything and appreciate everything. Maya, you have grown into a beautiful woman and thank you for sharing this sweet video ❤️
Love the picture at @11:07 there's a special something there that I didn't see in the earlier ones though you were cute in them all! @15:45 I had a huge Jewel Kilcher flash! Then at @16:47 a bit of Cyndi Lauper and at @17:17 Cheryl Crow so much, you could be your own music festival! Also I loved your old outro! ❤️❤️❤️

I didn't get the opportunity to know being on social media has get benefits; however has risks when your public. I soon realized being trans came with risks. she was a tomboy girl playing the role of a trans... i think she is a fraud
@@carlosmorris4510 Umm... what's "HRT", please..???

Very proud to see you made yourself happy ,regardless! You are a beautiful young lady.
i just started following your story and i think you are such a beautiful person, inside and out. Live your true life. We all should be able to do this
I agree with Taliesin’s comments . You have become a most beautiful girl and looking at you now and hearing you speak , it seems the real you can at last express herself . Like many others I am so sorry that you had to go through such difficulties , but the end results speak to your courage and conviction that you had been there from the beginning and now the entire can witness this truth for themselves

You are an amazing young woman; thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life. Keep growing, keep blossoming and all the very best in all that you tackle in life! ☺️
Bill
I’m a heterosexual male and - Wow!!! You are so feminine without over doing it and so naturally pretty - you were born to be a woman: don’t believe your sisters can be as pretty as you! Good luck and hope you get to have the life you deserve.
What a beautiful, well articulated lady. Gorgeous inside and out. You should be extremely proud of yourself. Thank you for sharing your story 💛🌷
that original video changed my life. thank you for sharing your story ❤️
Maya, you have grown into a beautiful woman and thank you for sharing this sweet video ❤️
this warm my heart so much. you dont even know... as a 18 closet trans this was amazing to see
Love the picture at @11:07 there's a special something there that I didn't see in the earlier ones though you were cute in them all! @15:45 I had a huge Jewel Kilcher flash! Then at @16:47 a bit of Cyndi Lauper and at @17:17 Cheryl Crow so much, you could be your own music festival! Also I loved your old outro! ❤️❤️❤️
You are such a beautiful soul. I loved learning about your journey
Great documentary, your truly blessed in so many ways, you were born naturally pretty and feminine and you have such a supportive family and network of friends who've helped you develop into the beautiful woman you are today. You also very self confident which helps a lot too.

You have always been so beautiful and I just love how confident you are
Msya,
I am really proud of you! I will explain why, when I lived in Halifax, I was quite the advocate; I didn't want to be an advocate this just happened. I didn't get the opportunity to know being on social media has get benefits; however has risks when your public. I soon realized being trans came with risks.
Maya I believe you have been able to show us we can be very well known on social media; stay safe while we help each other. Your videos have helped me b/c at times I am very isolated. Just knowing others are keeping the flame alive is important.
Thank You
Jessica
You're so beautiful, you've always been beautiful! 🥰

So gorgeous. So happy for you living your truth.
This is Beautiful yet so unfortunate and sad, the fact that some people in society continue to be hateful and invalidate your struggles is heartbreaking its literally 2021.
