I have arthritis and my sister just bought me a small Sizzix. I can crank dies and embossing folders without pain! I have a cricket but it is very difficult for me to peel the images off of the sticky back sheets. I found some Sizzix dies and embossing folders at Goodwill and I am so happy. Thank you Sizzix for an amazing machine, beautiful dies and embossing folders. I know this may sound weird but arthritis has robbed me of the ability to do the crafts I once loved to do, this has taken an emotional toll on me but now I can still be creative. Again thank you Sizzix (and my sister) for helping me feel better about myself. ❤️
Thanks for the tips. I admit when I get a die like that one the first thing I do is get a sheet of mylar out and make a stencil. Stencil's are so versatile, and now that I have the Switch Plus I don't have any problems with intricate dies. Look forward to seeing you on your next vid.
I just looked up the Switch Plus. Wow. I have the Gemini and I never use that thing. It's noisy, but has a lot more torque on dies. It just seems I can hand-crank things faster. I will have to look at reviews on this.

Thanks so much for showing more advanced techniques! I’ve known about most of these, but really didn’t know how to use them! And the release sheets I hadn’t even ever heard of. Too be able to make stencils is a very fun thing! Please come back & showcase some other specialized techniques! I think this is one of the reasons that Sizzix products are so popular, education & videos are sooooo helpful! Erica❤
Lovely cards, can't decide on a favourite. Good tips too, and you can use the die brush through the die before taking the image out. Gets into all those nooks and crannies.
My best tip for getting all of those pieces out of an intricate die is to bang the die hard against the table. Sometimes I throw the die down on my table and the pieces, as well as the die cut, pop right out!
Beautiful cards Jess - thank you for sharing! Ordered this last week and cannot wait for it to arrive. I also will be making a stencil out of the die and am lucky enough to also have received the Switch recently (although I did have to return the first machine I received as the plates got stuck in the front with just a few of the flower dies on it that came with the machine and wouldn't budge!)
I'm so glad I have this die both of those were very nice ,I have made a few card fronts with it so far but hadn't thought about making a stencil with it . How can I share a photo with you of my makes ?
Don't take the adhesive backing all the way off. Just part way, line up the die cut, then pull the rest of the way off. I've found it is easier to get everything lined up nice and straight.
Hi I have the bigshot express bigshot plus and just bought bigshot plus switch iv bought the chrome pression plate my question is I was told I could not use on bigshot plus is this wright or wrong or can I use on all my machine
Vintage Sled is not a Colorized Die - it's a standard Thinlits Die - so it should be fairly straightforward to assemble if you have a look at the packaging! Hope that helps!

That was an amazing video! I got my new Sizzix machine a while ago and haven’t used it yet! Will be getting it out of its box tomorrow!

Hi Linda, you can use the chrome precision plate on the Big Shot Switch Plus but not the Big Shot Plus machine 🙂
