    The Echelon is a great shooting gun even without a comp. It has a low bore axis and a decent trigger out of the box. I wish I had waited a bit, but I don’t shoot it enough to justify buying the comped version. I agree that Canik has the best trigger. My trigger gauge has an average of 2.75 lbs with a nice short reset. The PDP has a similar trigger to the PPQ which is one of the best stock striker fired trigger. I also agree that the Sig trigger is NOT the best. I don’t like the longer pull after the wall. It isn’t crisp at all. Great video. Thanks!

    Echelon Comp is 23 ounces and the XR920P is almost 22 ounces.
    XR920P is $900 if you hunt around.
    Echelon Comp is $600.
    4 things matter the most.
    Trigger, Recoil, Reliability and Cost.
    Echelon wins 2 of those (Trigger and Cost) pretty easily and per your video, the recoil was pretty close and the Echelon was 100% reliable.
    Regardless of your preference, the Echelon is not the best “budget” option. It is the best overall option on that table. Your video rubbed me a bit wrong always referring to the Echelon as the best “budget” choice.
    Great video production value. Thank you.

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      People get far too hung up on the word budget as some negative connotation. Let’s not do that, it helps no one. The echelon is a great option no doubt, but even so the recoil difference is noticeable between it and the XR920P. The reality is there was and is an option for everyone, and none are bad choices.

    For me the XR920P would be my choice. I want a Shadow Systems gun in my collection badly. And that one is top of the list. Obviously I wasn't shooting. But looking at the slow motion, XR920P for sure the flattest. Second to my eye was the Echelon, then the Sig, then M&P, and I could honestly not see a difference in the PDP and Canik.
    Also now that there are I think 2 metal grip modules for the Echelon I'd love to see you get one, and revisit this just against the Sig with the normal AXG frame as I'm genuinely curious. Fantastic video thank you for this!

    Im glad your SS guns are all working well.
    I was going to buy one a few years ago when they were still fairlly newly introduced to the market. Our local range had a fleet of them for rental and stopped renting them out due to massive durability issues (cracked slide parts was the complaint I'd heard the most). They rented almost every major brand and model on the market, and the SS was the major brand they said gave them by and far the most trouble.
    I'm seeing and hearing more and more that the SS guns seem to be good to go now, and that comp'd version looks really tempting. That makes me think they may have just had a few batches with metallurgy issies, but now they're pretty squared away.

    • @HuntFishShootChannel
      @HuntFishShootChannel  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s a great combo but keep in mind you have to buy a Glock and build that. You don’t buy it from the manufacturer stock like that, as you do with these.

    • @Cortezuma
      @Cortezuma หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have several Glocks with the ramjet, including a G45. I also have the 320 AXG Legion. I’ve shot them back to back multiple times to try to compare. I would say that the 320 shoots way smoother but the Glock with Ramjet compensates technically very slightly faster and more effectively. It’s almost impossible to notice because it feels “snappier.” Zero doubt the Sig is more pleasant to shoot and the recoil impulse is superior, however maybe a few milliseconds better return to zero on the Glock. Almost imperceptible but that’s where I landed on my assessment.
      I have an Agency slide with Ramjet and Agency trigger. Tons of money tied up into that Glock. And the Sig is for sure more pleasant out of the box. Stock vs stock no doubt I’m choosing the 320.

    Dropping a like and commenting for the algorithms….not a big fan of comps, they do exactly the opposite of what I need my tool to do. So, I suppress, however, I did get a super deal on another threaded barrel for my g45 that I dedicated for a pmm “duty” comp. And it did exactly what they do….blew flames straight up and made an extremely loud bang! But, kept the nose on my cannon down for quick follow ups. But again, I kept my other threaded for the suppressor. Which does what I like it to do and makes it super quiet with zero flash.
