@krazy1z I carried a 365 on my ankle as a back up for 6 years as a trooper. You don’t need to be concerned about rust, you just need to clean your edc at least once a month like you should do with all guns you carry.

It has a comp and is ported as well. I don't currently own any Shadow Systems pistols but my son does. He has an MR920 with a SS comp we installed and it definitely makes a big difference. I have a 43X but it is pretty much stock with no modifications other than fiber optic sights and a red dot. I may need to start saving for a CR920XP. Thanks for the great video, very informative.
@@theSUPERFEAK10 yes the apex trigger is worth the price. Lighter trigger pull and still reliable. Helps with pulling shots since stock trigger is such a heavy pull

@@HuntFishShootChannel if Springfield ever came out with a compact G19 sized Echelon Comp model, I’d very strongly consider getting one… but as of now, I’m not in the market for another full size handgun
@@HuntFishShootChannel I was not unhappy with my X-Macro, but once I got the Mischief Machine aluminum grip module, we really bonded. The extra heft, 1911 angle, and girth increase just made it work for me.
Great video Sir! I have some P365's and love them, but I also have an MR920, so have been curious about the CR920XP. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Took your advice and got the CR920XP. I really like this gun. Got it Sunday and have over 200 rds thru it. Only 1 miss feed. Waiting on a holster and then it will be my EDC. Should have well over 500 rds by that time. Love your videos.
I'm an owner of a Hellcat Pro. I was pretty interested in branching out to a shadow systems after trying one out a while ago. I personally agree that the hellcat's reputation for having a rough recoil is well earned, but I still love it. I can't shoot it fast, but I CAN shoot it accurately as I love the Irons and the grip. I'm thinking maybe I could have the best of both worlds with a CR920P - in the meantime I think the Hellcat serves me well
I switched from Xmacro to the Legion love both, I just shoot the heavier better. I did pick up a Canik MC9 and the trigger is fantastic. Only complaint is it drops off on bottom of grip, little annoying. My wife loves her 43X. Great video gonna have to get my hands on a shadow systems. Thank you
They can chaff. If you find that they do, try talon grips grips. Great grip not chaffing. Some like the sig 365 series and SW BG 2.0 will even snag some clothing material. Find what works for you. Remember that’s guys are getting firearms sent to them so they are always positive or bias. If they gave bad reviews the companies would stop sending guns. Some guys give thousands of reviews without anything negative to say ever. Great review! Like the thoroughness. Watched the whole review. One of the best I have seen. Really honest IMO. Was not sure at the beginning.
I believe a full mag (max capacity) on the 365 line is intended to be loaded with the slide locked to the rear position. This also allows the slide lock to automatically engage while it simultaneously chambers a round for very fast reloads.
Shadow systems has a true comp and a low now axis so I'm not surprised it's the flatest. I want to see how it compares to a P365 with radian ramjet afterburner!
I was so hoping this was the comparison video of the Radian P365 & the SS CR920XP. Nice video, I hopped on the Hellcat Pro when it came out a couple of years ago and never truly liked it.
I compared my CR920XP and the Radian P365 on a Macro frame. They are very similar. Very! Not sure I like one more than the other. Might be a touch more accurate with the XP.
Great video, Mike. I appreciate you making videos like this top-notch video 👍🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲 the hellcat is a sharp looking pistol, but it is snappy 🙄 that shadows system is the way to go I like that pistol its a sweet shooter I hope you and your family have a great weekend later big buddy
I’m sure the sig is reliable but if we are talking straight up stone cold reliable no doubt in my mind I gotta go with hellcat. All of springfield/hs new offerings actually . Say what you will about the company but those fucking guns will shoot ANYTHING for THOUSANDS of rounds.. I’ll take a lil bit of snappiness for that!
Picked up the Icarus Precision grip for the X-Macro comp, and it’s just no comparison. I just don’t want to edc anything else. It just feels right. The Hellcat (similar to the 43x) is just too snappy. I’ll have to try the cr920xp.
Awesome video and review i also have the shadow systems cr920p war poet and i threw my Glock 43x grip on it but changed out the internals to the shadow systems because something wasn’t running right with my 43x mos, i run the shield arms mags with their mag release and premium mag well and the grip is stippled i love that setup so much have about 400 rounds through it so far zero issues once i get to around 1000 ill probably start carrying it, interestingly enough my main carry pistol is a hellcat pro with a mcarbo trigger, and their firing pin, my dad has the hellcat pro comp and we tested them side by side the other day and honestly were both surprised they felt almost identical with being able to shoot mine easier from the better trigger upgrade, sorry for the rant but great review you got a sub from me
Great job and excellent video. I dig the size and capabilities of the 365 but the sig triggers are just subpar. Maybe a full metal grip module replacement and then trigger upgrade or the shadow systems.
I can only personally comment on the hellcat pro comp and the cr920xp. I do not own the xmacro (though I've shot it). I can say between the hellcat comp and the Shadow Systems, I MUCH prefer the Shadow Systems. I'll not be selling the hellcat, but the CR920XP is my main carry now.

Nice VIDEO but why not include a “Budget Option” with the PSA Micro Dagger C-1 comp? I think it would be a great comparison up against these very similar types of micro 9mm’s.
Based off my experience with a number of PSA firearms, they are not a brand nor gun I’m going to trust my life to. Additionally, the C-1 has been ok for us but it hasn’t been reliable enough to put it up against these. Ask yourself, how much is your life worth, then reevaluate every single time you buy a gun for self defense.
That’s the beauty of it being my video and my comparison to make, we make the decision. The shield plus carry comp is lacking some key features and would fall into a different category
At the time we couldn’t get it and unfortunately I wouldn’t have scored it very high due to lack of a light rail, capacity is less unless you get a extended mag with sleeve and then the sights with optic cut do not cowitness on many optics.
@ makes sense, it’s just another popular one in that category. It’s also the cheapest of the bunch which would make sense with it missing all that stuff
Others have stated the Sigs are snappy compared to true ported pistols with ported barrels. Maybe if sig had extended barrels? I’m sure it’s been thought of, but any options like this?
X Macro - I fell in love with, I own glocks, Smith wesson, but i shot the hellcats and i don't care for the triggers and snapback. but for the price they are great, if money is not a big issue for you then go Sig X Macro.
Nah bro, you were right. The SSC CR920XP visually shoots flatter and the chrono backs that up; it's venting so much more gas than the Hell Cat Pro Comp which explains the velocity deviations betwixt the two.
@@HuntFishShootChannel Another bs, ss claims their barrels are 1:10 twist and 9mm luger spec. It is the same specification as others. There is no polygonal rifling so that is out of discussion. Results of chrono we have. Barrel is the longest and yet it delivers medicore speed results. What more you need?
You are missing the point… you have no basis for saying the barrel is not made well. Your basis for that is because it has a longer barrel and only about few FPS faster than the Sig and slower than the HC Pro Comp. Chamber specs and lock up, play a big factor into this. Additionally you would also need to gather data across multiple ammos and weight, types of projectiles and finally ensure every single case spec is the same across all the guns to then see what differences you see. A sample size of one ammo, bullet, grain is a rough estimate at best for FPS and in which regardless we showed how the HC performed considerable better than the other two.
Think you should do another macro and hellcat comparison and swap the red dots unless they are the same. Basically said it was a junk Walmart sight and you don’t recommend it but then the dot was an issue with the gun.
All these people talking about how bad the Shadow Systems is and most have never owned one but they heard it in Reddit 🙄. Make your own opinion folks. I own a dozen SS and they have been pretty solid.a few minor issues but nothing big. I do love the X Macro as well. I don’t care for the Hellcat much but it’s a great gun.
Reddit=Complaint Board. No one takes to the forums to talk about how good their stuff is let alone no one reads those unless they are looking for negative stuff. The only site worth looking at for legit feedback is SnipersHide but that’s mostly all rifle stuff.
For those that don’t know, the xmacro in this video is not the normal. It’s the comp version. The normal one you can get a longer barrel. Comp came out first, blame sig, before the Tacops and the normal versions.
I’m an experienced shooter. I’ve own and daily carry the Macro. Owned and sold the Pro (with Monsoon Tactical port) and, like you, found it to have more snap. Never chrono’d mine, but was surprised by Hellcats’ ~40ft higher velocity. What are thoughts on whether some of that snap is due to ~5% higher velocity?
I think it’s due to the recoil spring and higher chamber pressure, like a tighter chamber. No doubt it’s likely a contributing factor. I honestly couldn’t believe it was that much higher!
The Macro barrel is 3.1 vs Pro’s 3.7 and that’s definitely the main contributor to the higher FPS (the barrel is a hair over half an inch longer). Not saying it’s the only contributor, but the most impactful.
@vitogrimes6006 the pro comp does not have a 3.7 inch worth of rifling. Yes it’s 3.7 inches total but they chunk ported it and bored out the end by about 3/4”. In addition that also wouldn’t explain why the SS and Sig have nearly identical muzzle velocity.
The CR920XP is slimmer than the Macro and same as Hellcat Pro Comp. I carry it daily and have no issues with concealment and no printing unless I just pick a bad shirt
@@HuntFishShootChannelI can’t wait I’m in between the 2 right now the last factors in my debate is price and the shadow system self defense warranty they have in place
i have a X macro Comp! im really thinking about buying the Radian Ramjet and Afterburner for my little p365. also thinking about getting the War Poet CR920P would be amazing!
Bunch of ss haters in here. I have 4. All ran with absolutely no issues. Ftf’s and fte’s for the first 3 mags on my cr920p. Keep in mind i sent it back to ss for blemishes BEFORE i shot it. (It had pretty significant blems and tooling marks in various places on the slide finish and comp. Bought it new. Wanted it new. I want it to be my damage) ss replaced everything. And DID NOT test fire it before sending it back. It was extremely tight tolerances as expected but broke right in.
@@HuntFishShootChannel shield plus has a 4" barrel. It's larger then the Sig X macro and Hellcat pro comp. I have both and my Shield plus is more accurate and less then those two. The shadow systems pistol is more like a Glock 19 clone. I disagree with you. Shield Plus is easily the best pistol. Only negative is that theirs no rail. That will come in the m&p 3.0 line up.
More accurate is likely subjective and you are just more accurate with that pistol. Keep that in mind. 98 percent of shooters can’t shoot their handgun to its true accuracy potential without a ransom rest. Which this shows on the video, I shot all three of these pistols nearly the same and when I zero their red dots they all shoot comparable groups. But the Shield pistols have a 10 round capacity overall grip length and then add magazines with sleeves to make it more than the standard. They may come out it a light rail on the “3.0” but why is it not on there now? That’s my concern. We may do the shield carry comp vs some others but it won’t be these pistols unless Smith and Wesson makes a native 15 round capacity grip Shield.

@@HuntFishShootChannel if Springfield ever came out with a compact G19 sized Echelon Comp model, I’d very strongly consider getting one… but as of now, I’m not in the market for another full size handgun
Trust your channel and your reviews. Straight forward.
Appreciate it! 🙌🏼
Love the X Macro, I own the tac ops version (4 mags, non comp)
macro looks great
Wait till we show this radian build I cooked up for about 1100 bucks
@@HuntFishShootChannelthat’s what I’m talking about! I have all the pieces and just waiting on my holster.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I was not unhappy with my X-Macro, but once I got the Mischief Machine aluminum grip module, we really bonded. The extra heft, 1911 angle, and girth increase just made it work for me.
@Croak1 awesome!
I just ordered my XP on Saturday at my local shop. Can't wait to get it in. I have a Meprolight MPO Pro S and a PL3r waiting to go on it.
Hell yeah!
Great video Sir! I have some P365's and love them, but I also have an MR920, so have been curious about the CR920XP. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
Happy to share! Thanks for watching!
Took your advice and got the CR920XP. I really like this gun. Got it Sunday and have over 200 rds thru it. Only 1 miss feed. Waiting on a holster and then it will be my EDC. Should have well over 500 rds by that time. Love your videos.
Thank you! Hope you found it to be as we said! I carry mine daily!
I'm thinking maybe I could have the best of both worlds with a CR920P - in the meantime I think the Hellcat serves me well
Shadow Systems make a FANTASTIC gun
For sure!
Great video, my Ffl called yesterday saying my cr920xp had arrived ❤
Awesome!
How has the reliability been for you?
@@boyangles6405 so far so good,
Macro all the way!
Nice choice for sure!
Thank you
The legion 365 is sweet!
Thanks for watching!
Thank you! Appreciate the input and you watching!
I believe a full mag (max capacity) on the 365 line is intended to be loaded with the slide locked to the rear position. This also allows the slide lock to automatically engage while it simultaneously chambers a round for very fast reloads.
I’m not sure why you are bringing this up and it also shouldn’t matter.
I run the X Macro best out for me so far💪🏾
Awesome! 💪 thanks for sharing
That Sig is an excellent EDC.
Yes it is for sure!
Shadow systems has a true comp and a low now axis so I'm not surprised it's the flatest. I want to see how it compares to a P365 with radian ramjet afterburner!
That will happen in the future!
They are very comparable. I tested them today.
I was so hoping this was the comparison video of the Radian P365 & the SS CR920XP. Nice video, I hopped on the Hellcat Pro when it came out a couple of years ago and never truly liked it.
That will be coming! Stay patient!
I compared my CR920XP and the Radian P365 on a Macro frame. They are very similar. Very! Not sure I like one more than the other. Might be a touch more accurate with the XP.
@dustyd6617 two great options right? Objectively speaking shadow systems accomplished what the after market has.
@@HuntFishShootChannel I couldn’t agree more. The XP is the real deal…as is the Radian after modding a 365. 😉
There's no reason. The radian p365 blows all three out of the water. At least for least recoil and muzzle rise. It's like shooting a tuned 2011.
Just for the future, let's all agree that this category of gun should be called "slimline compact".
I’m in!
Great honest comparison video the value, performance, and aesthetics of the CR920XP, can’t be matched
Thank you!
Thank you! Same to you David!
They are very reliable no doubt!
Yeah the torture those guns made it through were brutal. 10 thousand rounds of plus p ammo! Built like a tank!
I have had no issues with my xmacro. Shot a hellcat and had issues. So idk about your claim lol.
@@ghilliemanreviews like what.
@@ghilliemanreviews not saying they can’t but hellcatvusaues are so far between you just don’t hear about them .
Picked up the Icarus Precision grip for the X-Macro comp, and it’s just no comparison. I just don’t want to edc anything else. It just feels right. The Hellcat (similar to the 43x) is just too snappy. I’ll have to try the cr920xp.
Awesome!
FN Reflex XL coming soon!!!
We will have to try that!
I ended up with the macro comp...I shot the hellcat ok, but didn't care for the trigger, the grip angle on the sig works better for me.
Awsome comparison.
Thanks!
Awesome video and review i also have the shadow systems cr920p war poet and i threw my Glock 43x grip on it but changed out the internals to the shadow systems because something wasn’t running right with my 43x mos, i run the shield arms mags with their mag release and premium mag well and the grip is stippled i love that setup so much have about 400 rounds through it so far zero issues once i get to around 1000 ill probably start carrying it, interestingly enough my main carry pistol is a hellcat pro with a mcarbo trigger, and their firing pin, my dad has the hellcat pro comp and we tested them side by side the other day and honestly were both surprised they felt almost identical with being able to shoot mine easier from the better trigger upgrade, sorry for the rant but great review you got a sub from me
Awesome! We appreciate the input and your experience sharing!
Thanks for the sub! 💪
Great job and excellent video. I dig the size and capabilities of the 365 but the sig triggers are just subpar. Maybe a full metal grip module replacement and then trigger upgrade or the shadow systems.
Thank you! Yeah their triggers are subpar no doubt. Great shooting guns tho no doubt!
Personally I’d go Hellcat pro comp. I just got the SA HC PRO and don’t regret it (better than the Glock 43X)
Roger that 🫡
I can only personally comment on the hellcat pro comp and the cr920xp. I do not own the xmacro (though I've shot it). I can say between the hellcat comp and the Shadow Systems, I MUCH prefer the Shadow Systems. I'll not be selling the hellcat, but the CR920XP is my main carry now.
Thank you for sharing your experience and input!
Could you do a comparison of the Sig P365 Radian Ramjet vs the Shadow Systems CR920XP 🙏🏼
That’s a plan of ours!
Subbed for a bit now. Thanks for your input and feedback!! Shared this vid. 🙌🏻👊🏻🔥🔥
absolutely! Thanks for the continued support!
I feel like I'm having a birthday party. I'm so happy 😊😁😀👍
Wahoooo!
If I had to pick one it would be the staccato CS
Just don't drop it cause it's NOT drop safe....😂
@@Djru4real no 70 series 1911 based gun is drop safe on the muzzle 🙄. Never has been never will be. However if it drops muzzle down and discharges I don’t care. And they are drop safe in any other position 🤷♂️. Besides I have been shooting and training for 37 years. Yes I’m old also done uspca and never have I dropped a gun 🙄
Love my hellcat pro , going to get a port job on it
Hell yeah!
Should have added the shield plus. Don't think your reasoning to leave it out was valid. Nice video and all good pistols.
That’s the beauty of it being my video and my comparison to make, we make the decision. The shield plus carry comp is lacking some key features and would fall into a different category
Shoulda grabbed the shield plus performance center it’s a more similar form factor
The grip on my Hellcat Pro is a bit small for my hand but the grip of the Gx4 Carry fits like a glove and has become my usual EDC.
Glad you found something you like!
Others have stated the Sigs are snappy compared to true ported pistols with ported barrels. Maybe if sig had extended barrels? I’m sure it’s been thought of, but any options like this?
Not from Sig unless you get the radian barrel/ comp
Combo
X Macro - I fell in love with, I own glocks, Smith wesson, but i shot the hellcats and i don't care for the triggers and snapback. but for the price they are great, if money is not a big issue for you then go Sig X Macro.
🙌🙌🙌
Nah bro, you were right. The SSC CR920XP visually shoots flatter and the chrono backs that up; it's venting so much more gas than the Hell Cat Pro Comp which explains the velocity deviations betwixt the two.
Yep! Thanks man! 💪
Bs, cr920p has low velocity bcs barrel is not made so well. Comp has nothing to do with it.
No, it’s because guns have different twist rates or chamber specs. You have literally nothing to base such a claim.
There's always that but the shadow system 😂 it's a badass gun imo better then the others you have there in my opinion
Agreed!
Crazy put a dot on Macro and the dot doesn’t leave the window! As good as my open gun.
As good as your open gun? Wow! You must have a super powered macro!
My sig mags insert and drop perfectly smooth.
That’s great!
Literally just held all 3 of these today looking for a new EDC. For me it’s between the shadow systems and 365.
🙌🙌🙌🙌
I'll say it. Canik MC9LS over both Pro Comp and XMacro 👀 haven't shot the XP yet tho
Ok 😂
Think you should do another macro and hellcat comparison and swap the red dots unless they are the same. Basically said it was a junk Walmart sight and you don’t recommend it but then the dot was an issue with the gun.
The red dot had nothing to do with this comparison. I just wanted everyone to know the shield red dot is hot garbage
I would love to see a video on the new Kimber R7 Mako Carbon and the Sig 365.
The Carbon Compact is on the radar
@HuntFishShootChannel I just broke down and picked up a Fuse 365. What a shooter!!! My wife loved it and said I should buy it - that never happens.
@thetacticalape8852 that’s great!
Did shadow systems sponsor this video? Holy shit my guy
I’m your guy? That’s nice of you.
No they didn’t sponsor it. But the CR920XP is a flatter, less recoiling gun.
For those that don’t know, the xmacro in this video is not the normal. It’s the comp version. The normal one you can get a longer barrel. Comp came out first, blame sig, before the Tacops and the normal versions.
Exactly right! When we got this, it was the only one!
Thanks.
I would take the softer shooting Shield Plus Comp with a 15 round mag. Since the most important aspect is actual shooting.
@@danielrodriguez5463 well if the most important aspect is actual shooting…why not pick the actual softest shooting gun?
the one with rear sight issues? lol yk that you need to actually shoot?
Currently have a cr920x elite for EDC, was looking at getting either the xp or x macro.
Definitely leaning towards the X macro now.
Hell yeah. I really feel you can’t go wrong with either option!
Awesome ! 👏
💪
Check out the Speed Beez loader made specifically for the 365.. Must have for any P365.
Ok thanks
How does it feel to carry? Looks a little thicker. Does it feel that way when carrying?
Which pistol?
@ 🤣 would probably help if I mentioned that huh? cr920xp
The CR920XP is slimmer than the Macro and same as Hellcat Pro Comp. I carry it daily and have no issues with concealment and no printing unless I just pick a bad shirt
@ I get slide bite from glocks pretty bad. Any back strap to mitigate that? Also thanks for the replies love the videos!

Best GunTuber. I have the CR920XP and it’s yet one of the best EDC to have.
@@SunStoppersHouston thank you!
Thanks for sharing! Similar experiences here minus, mine have all been care free!
SW Shield plus PC ported is hands down better then the 3 mentioned pistols.
No it’s not, but it’s a good pistol. Thats also a smaller pistol and not in the same category
How's the new radian 365 ramjet compared to the CR920XP?
I’m about to find out 🙌
Love your videos. I'm looking at a shadow systems but I'm stuck between the cr920xp and the mr920p. Is the cr much easier to conceal than the Mr? Thanks for making great content.
