I have tried them on. Never had Trae Yong 1. As a point guard, Trae Y 2 for me is heavier and uncomfortably tight. I personally don't recommend this shoe even though it was on discount only selling for $90 CAD.
Another comment pointed out that he thinks it's definitely a player fit and specifically designed for Trae and I can fee that. The entry is so tight like a virgin and kinda hurts or is tough to fit in. The grip is good but the toe area is wide and comfortable for us wide footers but the sock feel booty type design is not structural enough to hold your feet stiff on hard movements. My midfoot definitely feels the shank where it's only at and took a while for my feet to get use to the hard area of it. I do like the use of light strike combined with boost tho. Indoor was grippy as I just tired them out but haven't tried them outside besides walking to break em in. The forefoot top top area of the booty has a flim that's reinforces the top area to the toes but it's loose feeling and you'll feel the creasing and flimsy almost. Design is a 2/5, grip is a 4/5, comfort was a 4/5, performance 3.5/5 for me but everyone's feet are different. Just got these bc they were $34 at close out stores like Ross and Burlington. I couldn't justify them at $100.
when I tried them on instore I can't even get my foot in on my true size I can only get my foot in on a sz up which already felt too big and I don't even have thick ankles 🙄
Looks really goid!👍 But!..when you insert your foot, the opening is too tight, that could choke you ankle!.terrible painful while using it!..even i removed the lace..😢..it seems the blood cant flow freely to my toe!😢..its too tight!👎

I got it for $95 plus 40% off, which totaled to $65 dollars CAD. It's a steal in my opinion

best to fit the shoe before buying. Im a size 9 on nikes but after fitting TY2's its not true to size. needed to go half size down
