    Played in the 3's for two weeks of games, Traction is brilliant. I loved the 2's but the 3's are nice also.

    The 3rd Trae, no question about that!

    Played in 2s yesterday and the top eyelet on right shoe gave me a massive blister. 2s have no padding so they feel loose and uncomfortable.

      Wdym they feel loose. They tight as hell. Wish they were easier to put on and less tightness around the ankle. Great traction

      fat pad in your heel with the rest open to breathe. I took the laces out completely to break them in

      Mine are TY 2.0s, which turns out is a thing. Made from 8/22 to 11/22 (see label for date), Adidas changed them in November 2022 and the ones after that have synthetic leather except maybe the toe guard. The TY 2.1 actually fits a human (not a duck) foot pretty well. 2.1 usually had round lace, 2.0 had a dress flat lace. I've tried them on in the store. Nothing like the nightmare of the 2.0.. still have the laces OUT after a month and are not still tight but ok that way. Might buy a pair of the 2.1 for later. Traction on asphalt isn't great. These are for hardwood court play only, not outdoors. Outside lateral support (side shift, slide push) of this shoe may be the best I've ever had on. Boost bounce is great. Still think the TY 3 is just a look on a regular shoe, with experimental tread pattern.
      Sizing a 12 fits my size 12 feet accurately for TY 2.1 I tried on. My TY 2.0 pair are 12.5, and while a bit long, still feel tight everywhere but the toes. I think it would take size 15+ to fit my mid foot and ankle, and that would feel like scuba gear on land. The half size up is a good compromise. What is most uncomfortable is NOT standing in them. You sink into the boost cushion and play. But if you sit in class all day or play PS5 wearing these TY 2.0 your feet will ache! Just avoid the TY 2.0 unless you get an awesome deal for them. TY2.1 seem much better fit.

    im saying this again but surface doesnt have an impact on traction cause theres no surface area in friction formula

    • @conqueeftador5936
      @conqueeftador5936 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it all depends on friction coefficient and the force that you put in

      Every reviewer that isn't Foot Doctor Zach truly have no idea what they are talking about. So not surprised dude doesn't understand traction.

    Your being lazy. How can you do a comparison if you haven't even played in the 3's. You cant compare traction until you play in them two or three times. You go 1/2 a size bigger than you did with the twos and don't expect it to be heavier 🤔. Play in the shoes 3 or 4 times and then do a comparison do better.

    The forefoot curve is such a stupid measure of performance dude. 99% of these shoes have uppers that break in and form to your feet mixed in with an athletes energy moving forward the shoe will bend with zero issues. Maybe bc you weigh 50 lbs I can see why but seriously its a very dumb measure of performance. I could understand this with like a shoe like the Harden 5 that essentially had plastic midsole which can be difficult to bend or if youre hooping in steel toed boots but other than that lol its a dumb measure of performance. Its really hard to watch any reviewer thats not Foot Doctor Zach.

    trae 1 i got to get.. except for thoz two loop sides its 1up engineering. the trae 2 is like a low top n3xt l3v3l (laceless) ..but they added laces anyway and without any pad under them. Nub design error! Only that top patch (tongue area) can stretch, and its way too tight unless you got Donald Duck's feet. When new, like 80% of people can't get them on without shoehorns. Have them only this weekend so far and starting to be ok at about 9 hours wear. That soft heel foam is another stupid, pushing the foot forward (and therefore up) into the tight tongue area, making it so much worse.
    Now I see these trae3.. are you kidding me? Those are just regular shoes. 30 other shoes made like that. Went from cutting edge/Yeezy grade shoes to.. that?!? These 3 Trae Youngs are all somewhat experimental designs far from the middle ground. The first two are engineering feats, while the 3rd one says, "Yo stupid, buy me!", and includes some real BS outsoles that should warn ballers away. In what way are they worth 5 cents more than 10 other similar designs already out there? If you love the Hawks, wear the numbers I guess.
    Skip these 3s, and if you game 2s, get some extra, because I don't think Trae 4 or 5 is going back to Pro-grade after this bomb. If you get gifted some Trae2's and you play, and your feet aren't like Donald Duck, just take the laces OUT to break them in. Working for me.
    Edit: after some use, I may never use the laces. Mine are TY 2.0 from 9/22 production. Adidas fixed the sizing and fit for 2s made 12/22 and later, which make them ver. 2.1, after that. Loads of confusion about this online, with the early product not fitting 90% of the time. Also, for every pair I've seen, adidas changed the laces from flat to round. Sizing is correct for TY 2.1, sizing should be half size up on TY2.0 and still won't fit properly.
