Apparently the reason why the ending is the way it is because they didn’t want to overshadow both byleth and 3 houses itself. Still wish it got some closure
@@blee7442 in a july 2 interview on nintendoeverything they talk about how the dev team, Nintendo, and IS wanted to not really mess with the bonds established by Byleth and Three Houses, which ia why Byleth isn't as prominent as a rival in the game.
At least that the Scarlet Blaze from Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a lot better than the Crimson Flower from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I also like Edelgard's new outfits and hairstyle because she looks a whole better than her old one.
I took advantage of the axes, bows, lances and darkness. The latter two I exploited via having my shez in the dark knight class and equipping her with hades omega and death gamma, while axes and bows I had Hapi and Shamir in wyvern lord and bow knight respectively.
Rhea dying like this and Thales being an actual villain is kinda devistating can't lie. She didn't burn down a city nor is her actual death confirmed. Thales and her potentially being out there is scary if you think about it. Yet I can't get my head around them wiping each other out like this either. It's almost sad not getting to see her wipe Thales out.
I don't think it's about Rhea being evil, it's about her ideals being at odds with Edelgard's. Rhea doesn't wish to relinquish her control over Fódlan because she lost faith in Humanity to do so, while Edelgard does have faith in humanity to move Fódlan forward. I like this finale because it's a defiance of destiny. Edelgard isn't the Flame Emperor, who the Agarthans wanted her to be. And she also isn't following her blood as the ruler of an Empire made for the Church. That's why this finale is great, because it fits her ideals of not being bound to who you are, and she fights against those who tried to shape her destiny.
@@ladyofhresvelg you're right. It's not Azure Moon and that's why scarlet is a bad route. Or is it that perhaps you think that Thales died in that ending? The very ending tells you, rhea and thales disappeared. That does NOT mean dying. Maybe they went to another dimension like what happened with Claude, Dimitri and edelgard. Do you think that Thales will not escape from there again!? Hello! the guy has dark powers! He's going to escape from that place in a 2 x 3 and this will never end. It's going to repeat the loop since edelgard showed that he can't kill him (on the azure route instead, he definitely DIES) That IS a good ending. No one had to die, everyone was saved, and the real villain died. I WAS a fan of golden deer, until this game showed me that the worst route of the 3 is Golden Wildfire. Yes, excuse me! I don't judge the game by the obsession with a character. I judge the game by the best future for fodlan.
@@ladyofhresvelg This ending is so bad, it tells you that Rhea and Thales are still disappearing (or it means dying) The ending tells you that the empire continued the war against the kingdom. but for what!? Wasn't it when she defeated Rhea that the war would end? Nope. Edelgard's obsession with war never ends and I have no doubt that in the end she would also end up betraying the federation (alliance) and ending them as well. The ending of golden wildfire explains that the kingdom and the empire didn't stop the war and claude tried to stop them both! But for me it is the worst ending of the 3 because Claude is an ambitious man who only focused on killing Rhea, and Thales? Where was it? He killed Rhea for a reason that is not known if it is real since the game NEVER confirmed if it is true or not (They force you to get married, those in the church are racist and they do not give you freedom) Claude??? Claude did you forget Cryil??? Did you forget Petra?? What the noble family does outside the church is not the fault of the church. They are whims of the nobles because of their hunger for riches. The church never ordered nobles to force their children to marry. The game NEVER explained that Claude's theory was true. That's why being a fan of golden deer, it stopped being for me when I played golden wildfire.
@@PeachPikaStar azure gleams the worst of the three 🤷🏽♀️ common consensus in the fandom bc it had the most dogshit writing out of all 3 routes + suffers from the inconclusive ending the most

It really is the worst excuse even if the story itself is still mostly good. I hope this game gets future support with extra story & the like.
Where do people here stuff like that? I'm just curious as I haven't seen anything that would suggest that.

Oh no, Count Varley’s in danger.
Anyway…

The horns are really cool on her original war design, but her whole fit screams “i’m the villain” which her hopes design rectifies

After getting Arval, Rhea and Sothis. You might wish to start over on the clear data to gather everything you can including special weapons.
I've already gathered all the relics a while ago. Lol
Huh, the text crawl is different at the end if you recruited Byleth. Thats neat I guess.
The immaculate one is hard in this game.

Ain't this chapter 15?
15 without Byleth, technically 17 with Byleth
