My biggest parent cooking hack: with ingredients I use a lot (onions and such) a buy a bulk bag of them and prep all of them, and stick them in the freezer. So nice when cooking with a baby on your hip to not have to cut things up.
My granddad used to pick parsley's leafs and roll them into a sausage with some cling film and toss it in the freezer for easy access parsley ready to cut. Mom then argues it completely takes away the flavor. Also freezing other spices like rosemary and such is also great. We have a few plastic containers in the freezer ready to season baked potatoes. Except when mom bought the wrong spice grinder (hot & spicy) and made all the potatoes unbearable how hot they were for me. So rosemary or not I still would not be able to eat feel it.
The plastic produce bags do make keeping all the veggies together convenient! But whenever I forget reusable produce bags I just toss the veggies in the cart! You'll put them in a larger bag to get them in the car anyway and can wash all the veggies before use! Just an idea 😊
I just wanna say how much I LOVE your vlogs. Being pregnant I love rewatching your journey and now watching your everyday life is so relaxing and comforting. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I think you should definitely try short again!! but maybe don’t cut as much off because when you wear it curly you don’t want to have a big shock of it being EVEN shorter😂
Sierra your curly hair videos are what inspired me to start my curly hair journey, and I truly can't thank you enough for that 🙏🏻❤️ I feel like your hair has to work with your lifestyle, so do whatever makes you happy and makes you feel good about it. If that's "breaking" the rules that's okay! you look amazing however you wear it 😊
Near where I live theres a roadside store that sells what they call (translated from afrikaans) lazy houswives , that are just bags of pre prepped veggies and they’re amazing!
I stopped CGM because of the convenience. Instead of every morning having to restyle my hair I could do it about once a week, and once it is in a bun, I was done for if I wear it natural. Especially working out often and my hair getting sweaty, it was just easier to style it with heat once a week and stretch it for as long as possible and spend one hour one day to style my hair for the week instead of styling for 15-30minutes EVERY day.
This blowout really accentuated just how gorgeous and long your hair is and how much there is of it!! Your curly hair journey helped me embrace my own curly hair though so thank you for that ♥
This meal prep is amazing! Starting anti-inflammatiion way of eating and all of this is on the good list. What did you season the sweat potatoes/peppers/onions and the chickpeas? I never remember to add seasoning.
Your hair is so beautiful! I love it when it’s curly 😍 I’m also a vegetarian now (is been one year almost to the day that I changed my diet) but my husband still eats meat. I try to do at least 3 meat meals for him a week, plus his lunches usually have it. But he’s been okay with eating more and more of my vegetarian dishes! I love the ideas you have here, I’m excited to try making the salads and bowls you made!
Omg I’ve had the same thoughts on the curly girl method because I kind of miss flat ironing my hair. There are other products I would love to try. I definitely understand where your coming from.
I was just thinking about your quinoa and sweet potato bowl yesterday and thinking how much I wanna make it! So thank you for the recipe refresher. But I was wondering, in your opinion do you think it would taste ok to swap out quinoa for the chickpeas or even rice? Update: I did make the sweet potato bowl, and it is in fact, delicious with chickpeas as well 👍
I’m not usually one to care about Americanized pronunciation, mostly because that’d make me a hypocrite, but the way Sierra pronounced Aloo mutter and channa had be cackling in my parked car for a full 5 minutes
I literally was about to comment something just like this! With all the love in the world (and me being a white woman also) that was the whitest she’s ever sounded lmao
The only thing about meal prepping is that apparently when you cut the veggies the vitamins are escaping fast, so it’s ideal to eat them right away. So the more you left it cut and prepped, it losts most of their vitamins. I just read that somewhere but I don’t know if it’s true or proven! Obviously it’s still good I think and I know meal prep can be so so helpful 🥰🥰
Try lighting a candle and keeping it right next to where you're cutting the onions. The closer the better! I keep the candle on the cutting board and it helps eliminate most, if not all onion effects to my eyes!!
Oh my goodness, I can’t do this. Our baby is so reliant on me, because my husband works ALLLLLL the time, so even when he’s home, the baby doesn’t know him, and he just screams. He also sleeps through the night for 10-12 solid hours, which is awesome, but then, he does NOT nap. There are no breaks. I have to wear the baby to get anything accomplished which means my mobility is limited, and I go slower and it gets so frustrating. You guys did a great job with making sure baby G is comfortable with BOTH of you❤️👍
It always amazes me how quickly you can meal prep! I swear when I try to cook one dish it takes me at least 1.5 hours even if it’s supposed to be easy 😄 loved the vlog though and the food looked great!
Such perfect timing for food inspiration! My tastes for food have been all over the place and have been finding it hard to decide on meals and these all sound so yummy and satisfying! Thank you Sierra!!🙏🏼🌈😍
I really need to meal prep for not only me and the kids, but for hubby who works in the Bay Area (3-4 hour trip each way depending on when he leaves) so he stays in a company rented hotel (with a kitchenette) during the week, and he regularly gets fast food. I think it would benefit him immensely.
My maximum meal prep was when mom went to her friend to Paris last year. I was lazy but smart. I made pasta with tuna: easy peasy you make the pasta and throw a can of tuna in olive oil into it. But I got full pretty quickly so instead of throwing it away I had a better idea. I already ate from the saucepan (too lazy to dirty up a dish) so I covered it, fork included, in cling film and tossed it in the fridge. Then I told myself: "I don't even need to cook dinner." But yeah in general meal prepping isn't really a thing I would do. I'm Italian and eat lots of pasta which tastes bad if left in the fridge too long/isn's heated properly. And I have a basic knowledge in cooking so that also wouldn't help. Yes sometimes if there are dinner overlefts (mom cooked too much etc.) I will have them for lunch. Or sometimes mom will meal prep sauces like ragù and such.
not sure what your relationship is like these days but I would love to get an update on how Skylar is doing if possible! miss seeing her on your channel!
Hi! She’s doing great and we hangout all the time- she doesn’t want her life shared online anymore though so out of respect for her privacy I won’t be sharing any details or updates 😊 hope you understand!
I literally can not believe you just put this out. I have been thinking about incorporating more vegetarian meals into my meal rotation and I knew you were plant based so I typed in your name and food....and boom 💥 you just posted a meal prep lol.
When chopping onion, put a wet paper towel next to or below the onion. The onion will go to the closest wet thing in the room which is usually your eyes. Weird, but it works.
I only wash my hair and let it dry on its own. I have wavy/curly hair and have never had issues thankfully. I've straitened it maybe five times. Never dyed it put any treatments or chemicals.
I've curled my hair dyed it straightened it and my hair is still extremely healthy after years of doing it my hairstylists where shocked at how healthy my hair is
This is not meant to be a criticism, but a genuine question. Why do some people use the notes app instead of the list app to make a list on an iPhone. I’ve seen several people do it and I’m curious if I’m missing out!
I really want to know what is in american food that allows people to meal prep food for week without it going bad... the first time I saw a vlog of someone doing this I thought they were joking because I wouldn't touch any food that was cooked/made more than a day ago unless it was frozen...
I’ve always heard 5-7 days in the fridge is good, I usually toss it after that. I know meat usually goes bad quicker though, but since I’m vegetarian I’ve never had to worry about that.
I had a similar experience with the Curly Girl Method. I'm doing what I want with my hair too. I call my hair routine "curly girl method" inspired instead of CGM approved. Haha. I love the flexibility.
Sierra! Check out tutorials on TH-cam for chopping onions 😂 I used to cut them exactly like you then one day my husband was like … um why are you making it harder on yourself! Haha if you cut in half and then score them, it’s a million times easier! Also! not trying to be one of those people whose like “You’re doing that wrong!!!!”
I've noticed you eat a fair amount of dairy, and with having a hormonal imbalance I would definitely recommend limiting dairy as it is full of the cows natural hormones and the growth hormones they give to cows to produce more milk. I stick to coconut, cashew, almond, and oat milks, and eat cheese in moderation.
38 weeks pregnant and I was looking for something to watch while meal prepping freezer meals. I laughed when I saw the title and was like “don’t mind if I do”.

Sierra stretching those two cans of chickpeas for like 5 meals is impressive.
June from Delish did a whole video about this!
Why did I love that grocery trip soo much? Lol
The torn bag, the messed up cart... sooo much real life 😆
Your vlog game has been top tier lately! Loving it!

Seeing you and Kenzie together really makes me realize how much I need a mommy friend!
100% mummy friends are amazing I lost most of mine now.... my oldest is 9 so everyone who I knew from there don't want to know now I have a new baby
Ive been watching you make that sweet potato quinoa dish for years and I think its finally time for me to try it lmao
Bruhhh it's so good. I've made it several times now lol. I add kalamata olives to mine too
Baby Grace is the cutest, her little eyes melt my heart. Thank you for continuing to share your new mom journey!

I'm saving this video so I can steal the recipes! Everything looks sooo good and easy for trying to reduce my meat consumption.
This meal prep is amazing! Starting anti-inflammatiion way of eating and all of this is on the good list. What did you season the sweat potatoes/peppers/onions and the chickpeas? I never remember to add seasoning.
Paprika, cumin, salt & pepper 😊

not the "cream freeish" lolllll
You have such a great husband 🧡
He is such a good help to you .

Yay! So grateful for vlog uploads when I’m having a rough day
I never put my produce in produce bags, just straight into the cart XP I wash it at home anyways
Your videos make my day! You're an amazing momma to Grace.
I’ve never seen a dad as involved in taking care of their baby as Stephen it’s seriously so refreshing
I adapted a one pan Asian bowl recipe this week to be vegetarian it was SO good and SO easy. Anything that can go all in one pan I’m so here for lol.
I love your positive upbeat attitude! :)
what kind of dressing do you use for the salads? it all looks delicious!
Dude that Starbucks PSL creamer if amazing, I don't even love the regular PSL from there but they creamer is truly a better version 🎃☕🍁
Love the meal prep ideas!

I'm not sure if the way you say crème fraîche is absolutely adorable or an abomination....
I was coming here to comment the same thing! 😂
It Just makes me think of South Park 🤣🤣🤣
Wait how do you say it 😂😂😂
@@SierraStephenIRL it's kinda "crem fresh"

Hello! Watching with my 9 month old 💙 we love you guys!
I need to make those quinoa bowls - looks yummy!
I would leave your lids off until the food cools down some or things get all sweaty inside…
Hi! Silly question maybe..but where is your griddle from? Do you mind linking jt?! Thanks love your channel!💙

Hello 👋 how are you doing today.
Such perfect timing for food inspiration! My tastes for food have been all over the place and have been finding it hard to decide on meals and these all sound so yummy and satisfying! Thank you Sierra!!🙏🏼🌈😍
These meal ideas are so good!!
A video every other day! Sierra is spoiling us! Not complaining though.
agreed!
Indian food has soo many varieties for Vegetarian
Some of them are so easy, you can even make them at home
From Sweets to spicy food,
I really need to meal prep for not only me and the kids, but for hubby who works in the Bay Area (3-4 hour trip each way depending on when he leaves) so he stays in a company rented hotel (with a kitchenette) during the week, and he regularly gets fast food. I think it would benefit him immensely.
Would love to try these if you have the recipes with measurements and seasonings listed somewhere
I know Skylar doesn’t want to be on camera, public on social media, etc. but I was wondering if she still works for your channel??
I think Sierra has mentioned in previous videos that skylar no longer works on her channel. She's just focusing on raising her baby. 🙂
She stepped away when Milo was born because of her maternity leave, then made the decision to be a full stay at home mom a little after that :))
She’s a homemaker
preparing chickpeas like that looks yummy! i gotta try them
What kind of dressing do you use for the salad??

I make a sweet quinoa by adding raisins and slivered almonds. Good hot or cold.

I was just thinking the same! Would love to hear how she’s doing
I know she was hanging out with them a few videos ago. They just don’t film when she’s around to respect her privacy.
Whose Skylar

cant wait for the disneyland vlogs 🏰
OMG GRACE IS GETTING SO BIG!!! I can’t believe how fast she’s growing
Hello 👋 how are you doing today.
"The amount of onions I use is absurd," me, thinking about how I went through all 200 onions I grew this year in 2 months, living alone 😂
I literally can not believe you just put this out. I have been thinking about incorporating more vegetarian meals into my meal rotation and I knew you were plant based so I typed in your name and food....and boom 💥 you just posted a meal prep lol.
I’ve never heard Aloo Mutter pronounced that way! 😂 That is also my favorite Indian 🤤🤤
Yay I love when I see your videos pop up !!!! 🥰
LOVE your videos!❤ Hope you guys have a great day!
Have you ever discussed why/how long you’ve been a vegetarian? Will you be raising Grace as a vegetarian? I would love to know! 🥰
Sierra is vegetarian but Stephan isn't so probably will be raising her in both
youve gotta find out if theres a curry pizza place near you!! its honestly so good that its made it hard for me to want to eat any other kind of pizza
Love your meal prep.
Omg finally catch your vlog in the first 30 min of posting!! Love watching you all and seeing Grace grow! ❤️
How to do put hot chickpeas on the salad and then shut the lid without the spinach wilting? 🤔
Video idea.. mom obsessions.. little sleepies, Ryan and rose, nugget, slumberkins etc reviews
If you love how flavorful Indian food is try Ethiopian! Just as flavorful for a vegetarian!
I love Ethiopian food
There's an Ethiopian place near my house, and I want to try it but I never know what to order. Do you have a favorite dish or any recommendations?
