Both curry and tumeric make the oiled down yellow. Back in the days they used curry but nowadays they are using turmeric or saffron.

Am Grenadian and first time am hearing about curry in oil down
I no long ago is turmeric we use now some people using curry

@@nurryskitchen4738 I have eaten oil down my whole life and I have ALWAYS seen people use curry. Saffron ONLY colours food, while curry both flavours and colours the food.
