Taking a family trip in 3 weeks with my 3 grandkids. Thank you for your wonderful tips and interesting information on the traveling in Barcelona. I have been in your beautiful city 4 times in the past and i always felt it was one of the best cities of the world. Looking forward to sharing your city with my 3 teenage grandchildren.
Hey Patrick, what a great trip down memory lane so to speak. Susan and I enjoyed the tour with you last year through many of these streets and we learned so much from you about the history and culture. Looking forward to being there again in 10 weeks!
Loved this - thank you! Your videos have been so great for trip planning. We have two weeks to see “everything” but especially looking forward to the Gracia street festival which I discovered in your August video. Really, thank you so much!
Great video full of useful tips. We are visiting Barcelona end of September and I love all the interesting places along your walk in the Gothic Quarter you pointed out.
great video patrick, i was just there for 3 weeks back in july, didnt do much site seeing but met lots of cool people at the language exchange meetups and partied at fiestas de raval! good times, i come every year now
Great videos, will definitely check out the rest. Arriving is a few days and your videos are essential viewing, packed with info, and you made it easy to make a route as you mention the street names. Keep up the great work!
loved the video and miss that type. I am a road cycling fan and believe the vuelta de Espana starts end of August . Wish I was there, maybe more crowded. Have you ever been around for the race?😊
I booked my trip last year to watch the start of the Vuelta, then realised they had put it back a week because of the worlds, so we are there a week before 😞🤣
I would love a walk around Sants! Not a typical touristy place but I loved the contrasts there. The “Park Espanya Industrial”, the train tunnel that is not under the ground but serves as a great walkway, the historic builds but also some run down areas. I loved walking through Sants!
Best Gothic walk I have seen. Missing Bar Del Pi & my Hotel Colón. I’ll be back again May 5 to May 9, so I will be using your guide to explore more of what I missed that was right in front of me all along 🤦🏻♀️
Thank you for the walk! And also for the secret spot near the cathedral which I definitely will visit in exactly two months when I get to spend a couple of days in the city, acting as a semi-professional guide for my father. Looking forward to your things to do in October-video ;)
Hi pat, I’m coming back in September, on my own for another 10 days, for my 2nd La Mercè festival, and again in December for three days for the lights, my wife will be with me in December ,…
I will be there in October for 2 and half days. What is the weather like in October and what are some of your must see sites in Barcelona? What are some of the best wine tours to take? When is Octoberfest this?
Great walking tour of the Gothic Quarter neighborhood in Barcelona Spain. Is it safe it that area? I was told the center area is not safe at night. A lot of pickpocket thieves in the Gothic Quarter to keep an eye on my wallet and also in the clubs. Can you do a video of what newcomers should and should not do in Barcelona.
I would like to ask you about places we can find local businesses in, whether it is fashion, furniture or anything in between. If there are any in the gothic quarter even better since it is on my list or any nearby areas. I am however visiting during the the last week of december so I am not sure if I'll have the honor to experience these..
Another great and helpful video 👍 I’m coming to Barna in few days with my 10 year old son and our hotel is in Gothic Quarter Is there anything you would recommend to do with kids in my son’s age?
@@PatrickGuideBarcelona btw my son loves your videos as well and thank you for recommendations. We will do science museum and sailing I guess and... who knows might bump in to you on the streets of Barcelona :-)
We just got back to the US after having been in Barcelona for a whole week. Ugh, we saw so much but still managed to miss a lot of these spots. O well. Next time 🤷🏾♂️

The Gothic Quarter is safe, yes. There are pickpockets in Barcelona. What other questions do you have for firstimers
I guess we all have to use common sense and keep two eyes on our belongings. Thieves target dummies.
I would like to ask you about places we can find local businesses in, whether it is fashion, furniture or anything in between. There are quite a few in the gothic quarter, yes. Many other bigger stores as well but you can still find local shops all over the old city.
@PatrickGuideBarcelona Thank you sir, if I visited any and found anything of intrest I'll leave something about ot for future viewers.
Another great and helpful video 👍 I’m coming to Barna in few days with my 10 year old son and our hotel is in Gothic Quarter Is there anything you would recommend to do with kids in my son’s age?
You’ve got the Caixa science museum, chocolate museum, aquarium, sailing or a boat
