We ran into Patrick at the Mercat de Mercats in Barcelona last week and let me let you know he is as nice in person as he seems in his videos. My wife and I were so happy to see him and he spent a few minutes speaking with us and letting us take a picture with him. He even stopped by to say good bye when he was leaving. TOP NOTCH GUY!

It was great meeting both of you! Hope you enjoyed all the food at the market!

The market is amazing. I never ever went in there on my first couple of visits to Barcelona but past it all the time when walking along la ramblas. Now it's a must place to go when I'm there.

Great work Patrick! Just booked my SEVENTH trip to Barcelona for next summer a few days ago! Will never get tired of visiting until I can move there!

I travel solo and have a few days before joining a cruise, so I've booked a walking tour to get my bearings, a tour inc a hotel pick up for the Sagrada Familia & the Parc Guell, a Flamenco show with tapas that evening, then a tour of Montjuic with the cable car, and a tour of the Picasso Museum the following day. That will let me check out the highlights and I already know I will go back to see more!

Its always a great idea to take a tour and get an idea for the city and other things you can do too!

It's not worth the risk bro, street crime capital of Spain! or just don't take anything of value outside the hotel

Just came back from my trip last week, still a lot of people!!! The city is walkable and that’s what we did going around. We missed some of the spots you pointed out 😢 but we did enjoy Barcelona. I will definitely come back and explore the city further. Thank you for your videos which I love watching and sharing to my friends. The gothic quarter was amazing, though you couldn’t really appreciate some of the structures due to the massive crowds. Can’t even take decent pictures without being bumped at or some people take their own sweet time without considering others would like to have their turn too. Anyway, there’s still more to explore and learn about your culture. I was able to visit Montserrat and Girona but not Tarragona or Zaragoza. When I come back, these places will be on my list. Hopefully by then you can make more videos of places outside Barcelona. Have you ever made a Madrid video or are you just concentrating on Barcelona? Again, thank you for your concise yet very very informative video. ❤❤❤

Sounds like you were able to get to quite a few places! And yeah, I have a few videos about Madrid on the channel. Check ‘em out!

@@PatrickGuideBarcelona we did travel to Madrid but only for 4 days. I find the city compact in terms of its street “size” unlike Barcelona. But both cities have their own highlights. To be honest, just my personal preference, I luv Barcelona!!! Btw, I was able to watch a game of my favorite female soccer team, of course FCB, against Espanyol. I wasn’t able to watch their match with Hammarby (Oct16) since I was in Madrid ☹️. Nevertheless, I got a few pics and videos of the team and most of all, seeing Alexia up close. Anyway, I will watch your video/s of Madrid later, for now, thank you and have a blessed day ahead.

Hi Patrick. Really I enjoyed watching all your videos , because I am planning to visit Barcelona with my wife 10th of November coming from Paris and I want to know about the weather in this period and the clothes.because I see you still wearing summer clothes. Please advise me

Appreciate that Mohammed! If you’re coming in November I think the best thing to do is wait until we get closer so you can check the weather forecast. This video was filmed at the end of September, so I don’t think it’s gonna help much for November

You look so cute in this video. I was in Barcelona for 4 days 2 years ago and I fell in love with this beautiful city. Too bad that not everybody is welcoming there, specially tourists. But Barcelona local need to understand that is because of tourism that they have jobs and the city gets money to maintain those beautiful buildings. Despite of not being wrlcomd I am still planning in going back
