I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but it makes sense that Agatha was so adamant about the song lyrics being "coven two"...she and Nicky were her coven, so she only became a covenless witch when he died Lol I ALMOST feel sorry for Agatha, cuz her story was heartbreaking, but using that song, that was basically a lullaby of sorts for Nicky, to knock off other witches is some diabolical 💩
I personally think that's why she can't face him. That song was an expression of love between the two of them and after his death, in her grief, well...Agatha gon' Agatha for power. It poisoned it. Nicky hated that they killed witches. I think that was really him in her Trial saying, "Mama, stop!"
Death doesn’t really kill or go after people because she is the personification of death, she just collects who was meant to die. It implies that Nicholas was meant to be born a stillborn, then Death allowed Agatha to keep him as long as she supplied her with bodies in return and Agatha used that power to keep him alive. I also think Nicky had some level of understanding when Death came for him which is why he was so willing and knew to kiss his mom goodbye when Death pointed at her. Agatha developed an addiction to the power which is why she couldn’t control it, similarly to the rest of the coven she gained what she was missing (control) then died. I think she used the shame that she carried as an excuse to steal the life of other witches for centuries because she didn’t want to see her son since she couldn’t save him. That’s why she let people believe she traded Nicky for the Darkhold, she thinks willingly giving him up is less shameful than not being able to save her own child from Death.
He was just like Nicky: His optimism and belief in the goodness of others made her think she was capable of more than she knew. And Joe Locke? He turned out to hold his own in this, didnt he?
Agatha told Billy from the start that the road didn't exist.. "The Kiss of Death" was actually beautiful. Agatha said, "You I made from "Scratch"" an his name is "Nicholas" aka Nicholas Scratch. Death said Agatha was special, she was special cause Death gave her more time. Its like it was "Agatha All Along."

The finale of a show usually leaves a lot to be desired. I didn't find myself needing anything more. It was the perfect end for me . They did leave it open to continue a story for Jen and Billy though.
I loved the way they showed her flying off into the sky like Vision does. Not on anything so "basic" as a broom. The Jennifer Kale character in the comics is very different from the one presented in Agatha All Along, but she does show up in several properties, including the Midnight Sons. Frankly, I loved Sasheer & Hahn's characters as foils and would love to see Jenn again keeping ghost Agatha honest. I though Sasheer did a great job on the Unbinding scene. I couldn't tell whether Agatha was just being Agatha or was deliberately provoking her to help her power through the spell.

She killed Alice not just for power, but her death provided a distraction for Rio. That's also why Agatha was always screwing around during the trials.
Agatha Ep 7 Loki Season 2 Finale & WandaVision Season Finale were magnificently written, directed & portrayed. I felt so sad for Alice, my girl finally got the cursed lifted just to die the next episode. That poor town lol they can’t seem to catch a break! Agatha wasn't technically lying but she was wrong when she said the ballad meant nothing. it was a scam she created, this is now fact. but a famous witch pop star reworked the ballad because she saw power in it and turned it into a pretty serious protection spell. and she did that without the help of a cosmic power pebble or special mutant reality bending powers. There were a couple comments and actions early on that I didn't get until after these episodes.

Now that I've watched this last episode so many times, I'm starting to think the time Rio gave Agatha kept the bodies coming. So when Nicholas skipped that bunch Rio came...sorry you forgot to fill the meter. And everything Agatha did after was to keep Rio away from her.
This was such a great show, I can't wait to see more of Billy and Jen's stories in the future, I've truly fallen in love with both characters, and with Agatha staying as a ghost she can actually teach Billy more control with his powers making him stronger, they really did a great job setting up for future stories
We’ve got Vision Quest and Wonder Man next up on the Maximoff-adjacent storylines. Avengers Doomsday will presumably be the Children’s Crusade adaptation, Billy and Tommy will reunite and find Wanda being held by Doom after her alleged suicide and hiatus reported by Strange, just like the comic.

Here we go! I enjoyed the finale episodes but I’m left with more questions: (1) Was Agatha stealing magic from other witches to protect Nick and keep him alive? (He was born sick and seemed to look pale/ thin just before she attacked other witches but then looked a little healthier after Agatha gained more power). (2) Who was the man in Jennifer’s hallucination in the first trial if Agatha was the person that bound her? (3) If Agatha didn’t trade Nicholas for the Darkhold how did she get it (I honestly thought that she did walk the witches’ road before and that’s how she got the Darkhold…) (4) Who is Agatha’s baby daddy?!?! The list goes on!

The doctor in Jen’s hallucination could’ve just been a a random man that traumatized her, calling her an “inconvenient” woman and all. She could’ve been smarter than him in the medical field and he felt threatened by it, anything could explain that considering how women (AND black women especially) were treated in those days. I saw someone else mention that the one time Agatha didn’t kill the witches Nicholas died that night; but I don’t think there was a direct correlation. Rio made it clear he had to die and was breaking the rules by even letting him survive infancy so u think the jig was just up at that point
Agatha mentioned she did "spell for a buck" so i guess she enchanted smth for that man for money and went on her way without giving a though what he will do with it .
1. She's a Succubus, so she feels pleasure from absorbing powers. Nicky might have gotten some additional benefit from it, possibly. 2. Jen was probably assaulted by some jealous man that was angry she was better versed in magic than him. 3. She likely traded her future child for the power of the Darkhold, and then didn't wa t the deal to go through. 4. Witches in the coven would have children to continue to coven
I feel like everyone is misunderstanding Billy, yes he blames himself but he didn't kill anyone. Agatha killed Alice and Lilia sacrificed herself. They knew the risks of the road and accepted them (yes it wasn't real until he manifested it, but they still accepted the risk). Sharon died because Agatha brought her so that death is on her in my opinion. While Billy is taking that guilt and responsibility, he didn't actually kill them.
We won’t see Lilia be taken by death because technically she isn’t. When we saw her again as a young girl the gaps that she experienced finally stopped so she was able to live her life fully. At least that’s what a comic bro told me. And that’s what I hope cuz she suffered so much.

She tried to save Alice, and she did save Agatha, Billy and Jen from the Salem Seven. She was part of the coven. They placed a lot of importance on her figuring out her visions and divinations, and accepting her own life, and her own death, to save the coven. I agree that Sharon wasn't relevant to the plot, as the running joke of Agatha asking "Who's Sharon," and "Who's Mrs Davis," makes it clear. She still deserved better. She was used and puppeted by Wanda, along with the other residents of Westview, in that awful way. Then she was used by Agatha, and it was completely pointless, because she had no power to be taken, so she died for nothing. She's the one who is a stand-in for the audience in the story, because she isn't a witch and has no superpower. And all that her story tells us is that regular people have no use inside the MCU.

It doesn't really matter who is important down the line, or who is important in the comics. They were important in the story of this show, so I personally wished they had done more to show that after they died.
Death can't kill. t's against the rules. Apparently this is different from how Lady Death in the comics operates but those seem to be the rules for Rio. She's more of a reaper in that she guides the souls once someone has died. And she seems to have some leeway with timing.

So Billy is going to have to come in and help his twin brother, because no amount of speed can make one escape Death. Though I have a feeling the first meeeting between Tommy and Billy may not be pleasant.

then again, the focus in this show is agatha and billy... even jennifer kale doesn't get the spotlight that much (even tho she'll be back in future projects like midnight sons)
@@humam9189 I understand that it could be repetitive. That's why I said that I wished they had found a way to show it, without being repetitive.
It doesn't really matter who is important down the line, or who is important in the comics. They were important in the story of this show, so I personally wished they had done more to show that after they died.
I hope they get to Tommy before death does
Death can't kill. t's against the rules. Apparently this is different from how Lady Death in the comics operates but those seem to be the rules for Rio. She's more of a reaper in that she guides the souls once someone has died. And she seems to have some leeway with timing.
@@ParticleZon But I have a feeling that Death will be coming for Tommy because of the same reason she came for Billy, the interruption of the sacred balance for mortals between Life and Death, Rio takes her job very seriously and always focus to maintain balance but in the natural way, not forcing it, but letting it happen naturally, and Billy disrupted that twice now. So Billy is going to have to come in and help his twin brother, because no amount of speed can make one escape Death. Though I have a feeling the first meeeting between Tommy and Billy may not be pleasant.
