Yep Tommy Shepherd/Speed, and I'm glad that they didn't show him completely when he drowned, because Tommy has silver hair like his uncle Quicksilver which is cool because he has the same powers as Quicksilver@@qingakabenji9876

26:41 Do you remember what Agatha told Death last episode? Agatha told her that if she delivered Billy to her Death would have to release her--Agatha has been on borrowed time for a long time. For Agatha to live, she has to kill. Death cannot kill people indiscriminately; she has to follow the rules, and Agatha doesn't. When Agatha had a son, he was born with a terminal illness, one that looked like some sort of cancer, but I think that's what Death turned it into since she gave him time. Nicholas had as much time, as he (and his mother) was willing to kill. Nicholas couldn't do it anymore, so his illness rapidly got worse, and then he was gone. His death made Agatha bitter and angry, and she became more aggressive with her killings. Agatha kept killing to stave off death because she didn't want to see her son--she's been killing for more than 300 years to avoid meeting him and having to apologize ='( Even after death she couldn't go the great beyond, her fear allowed gave her something to latch onto, but perhaps that's also death's doing, since Death promised to never see her again. What a series! I can't wait for Vision Quest, the last part of this trilogy! Well done, MCU. Well done!
Agree with everything you said. Just want to add that while killing wiches to deal with her grief, I also believe Agatha was trying to get strong enough to bring Nicky back. In Wandavision, that does seem to be her endgoal.
@@talesyuki Definitely! She had the Darkhold for 330 years, from 1693 to 2023. She had plenty of time to read up on the Scarlet Witch, chaos magic, and its reality-warping capabilities. She got to see it firsthand--Wanda built her own happy reality, the perfect life. That's all Agatha ever wanted. A part of me also thinks that Agatha was trying to amass enough power to one day take on Death too, and had she had Wanda's power, she probably would have.
I know some people are salty about Rio & Agatha's ending. I been team Agathario since the beginning, and I found this sacrifice was beautiful. Agatha couldn't save Nicky but this time she can, finally faced death. The kiss definitely wasn't a happily ever after kiss, but just a love & angsty kiss. Those flowers Rio created for Agatha's grave was just shows how much she loved Agatha. So beautiful and bittersweet honestly.
My Mom passed unexpectedly on Halloween 2016, also my daughter's 6th birthday. So my favorite day of the year has also been my least favorite day of the year ever since. Watching this series culminate into what is essentially a story about a son becoming his mother, and a Mother simply wanting more time with her son, on Halloween, was amazing. The Witches Road song holds so much more meaning to me forever more.
Agatha was never a good person... she just loved a child. It is great storytelling because it gives us the realization that she would always be bad regardless, though she did the right thing at the end.
While the comics are nothing to really follow fully, I love that the ghostly Agatha is now following William like she did Wanda in 2015 comic series. I think it is a great way to keep Kathryn Haun in the series without losing a brilliant actor. And the whole story is literally Agatha All Along, she created the myth of the Witches road and coopted the song to take the power from other witches.
@@Jon_FM I hope they mirror Agatha's resurrection. In the comics, she was Wanda's mentor as a ghost and Wanda's mother brought her back to life. With her being Billy's mentor here instead, maybe Billy's mother will be the one to bring her back here. I'm thinking Wanda might resurrect her, maybe as a thank you for looking after Billy, helping him save Tommy and helping Billy find him.
35:29 it's because Agatha said to Rio that she didn't want to see her face when she dies The dead only see Rio's face when she takes them to the afterlife Therefore, not seing her face = not going the afterlife, therefore she got trapped on Earth as a Ghost
@@talesyuki Which she also technically did both before and after he surrendered himself. She said she would get him past the finish line which she did. She brought up that he had to surrender himself and that she could arrange that which did happen. She then offered him up which was the final part of the deal. Technically she did everything that she agreed to do before she gave up her life. It was only Rio's side of the deal that got changed in the final exchange. Agatha didn't die "a long long long long time from now" and Rio didn't take Billy. So Agatha held up her side of the bargain.
This show solidified Jac Schaefer S one of the MCU’s best storytellers imo. Between this show and WandaVision, I love how protagonist-driven these narratives are. *Nothing* happens in these stories that isn’t the direct result of the lead character’s flaws and psychology. I love that between Billy and Agatha we have a character clinging onto life for life’s sake, who sees life as the ultimate good, and a character running away from death not because she really wants to live, she just wants to die *less.*

Rio tells Agatha that Tommy is not here yet, he is kind of in the limbo of souls I think, I speculate Agatha proceeds to dream walk or transmute Billy into Tommy's wandering soul and also find some random dying boy so he can take his body. that was insane really cool sorcery Agatha has skills even w no power she used Billy
Nicholas was supposed to be stillborn. Rio gave Agatha a gift of his life . Infant mortality was around 35% in the 1700s in the US. Still, Agatha never forgave Rio.
Too much to write home about. I liked this series a lot from the jump. I love good performances, wardrobe and sets. I am into crime mystery and this is that with a supernatural them and properly done. I am into witch stuff when it's mindful. I already loved most of the cast so that was a plus. I had read some of the comics this drew like Witches for example so I could see the nods and liked it. And I love focal closure points in a story and that's where they went. If they would have not done that I would have been disappointed and that does happen with Marvel often because they edit stories to set up other things in their franchise. So my one issue of course was the cliffhanger at the end (really deserved an after credit scene about one of the other characters). I had bought some candy for this and a can of tuna for the cat of course. Some nice fall themed Tootsie Rolls. Well I tossed that dish across the living room when they ended on that note. I want it NOW, damn you! At least I wanted to see Tommy. Of course on the other because they did such a good job making me invested in this story and these characters. Overall it's great. I'm not sure how I rate this series yet. As a sequel of sorts it might be higher than WandaVision for me but maybe because it contained so many things that trip my trigger where WandaVision had less and was more MCU centric.
Just saw this explanation on TikTok and now the context for why Agatha had to kill all those witches makes sense. After finding out Death spared Nicholas life for a time, Agatha knew she’d be back to collect him. She was killing all those witches to keep Rio busy so that she wouldn’t come back to collect Nicholas. The more dead witches she piled up, the more Rio had to take time to process them all and the less likely she would come to collect Agatha’s son. That’s why it’s telling she finally comes to collect him, it’s a day they kill no witches and he says to Agatha, “it’s okay. We’ll kill more witches tomorrow.”
Jac Schaefer, and (most of) her WandaVision - Agatha All Along team, aren’t part of Vision Quest… so I’m less optimistic on how that series will turn out, if that’s where Tommy will return.
Loved your reactions. I’ll just add that they won’t need to find a personal item for Agatha, ghosts only linger because they have unfinished business. She’ll move on to join Nicky when she’s ready.
@zemoxian They actually just recently announced another series after Vision Quest but they haven't said what it's about yet but it is going to be another spinoff series
I'm not exaggerating or being sarcastic when I say that the only way we can root for Agatha, is if she pays for her offenses with her literal life, and spends her afterlife looking out for a former victim of hers who still walks among the living.
What I don't understand is, if the road was just a scam and she fully expected to take the power of our main cast, why did she warn Lilia not to blast her when recruiting her?
Maybe because she knew Lilia's power wasn't the blasty kind, so it wouldn't work. Same with Jen, why recruit her when she had no powers? They could have been just bait to get an active witch, like Alice.
Lilia had just accused her if trying to take her power. Agatha was saying anything to convince her to join so she could get them all together. Though I dont think her plan wouldve worked cause after they sang Lilia had completely figured out Agatha wanted them to all blast her with magic
12:28 Not even respectfully. She's been an awful person that did awful things to others. I wonder how the MCU is going to handle Quicksilver being a part of things now.
That kid didn't "almost" drown. He did drown, and Billy helped Tommy take his corpse.
And going off the comics, that kid was most likely called: Thomas Shepherd

I guess, not giving him a chance to be revived (like by CPR and stuff).
Someone on Twitter pointed out that in Agatha's "true crime" reality, Nicholas had a certificate for singing.
When she calles you a cowars, hit the deck - Lillia

i think the majory of the agathario fans are just sad we didn't get a "how did they fall in love" flashback
Yeah that's my only issue, is that I was invested in how Death fell in love with a mortal. But I enjoyed every episode.

Rio’s not just the Grim Reaper. She’s the very concept of Death itself.
Yeah she along with Eternity, Infinity and Oblivion are the 4 main cosmic entities that is aspects of Reality

Yeah but that was only if Rio got Billy. Why would Rio still honor that agreement? She just lost both Billy and Agatha? xD
